I love this place! Best food ever! I had their chicken salad with dried cherries, Gorgonzola cheese, walnuts, and their homemade maple dressing. It was so delicious, that even when I started to feel full, I tried to eat the whole thing and let nothing go to waste haha. Mmmmm just talking about it makes me want to go back for more!!

Wonderful food. Great service. Good drinks and specials. Nice ambiance if you don't mind loud and tvs. Free peanuts during football. Wonderful creamy ranch dressing. Keep going back to the big ugly steak. Very tender and flavorful. The potato soup is not to be missed.

This review is not for this place, but Yelp won't let me delete it!!!! -- Great views of the harbor! The fried asparagus was delicious and the Michigan black bean burger was excellent. All the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The area is absolutely picturesque, which makes the solid dining experience so much better.

My family and I went for Sunday dinner and man I wish I could eat there everyday. Everything was good from the cook of the steak on top of the salad to the service! PROS Steak salad, lefty dip, wet burrito, hog wings, and spinach artichoke dip--highly recommend Fast service Clean CONS Didn't like the Fat-free balsamic dressing- personal opinion Overall, LOVED our dinner and we hope to all return soon!

DELICIOUS! The BEST French dip I've ever had...with plenty of lean roast beef, Swiss cheese and au jus which is flavorful without leaving you feeling as though you licked a salt block. My husband, who is a major fan of burgers, has gotten one each time we've been there; he can sometimes be hard to please, so that says a lot for Lefty & Romo's burgers. And my dad loves their wet burritos. They have something for just about everyone. For example, they serve both Pepsi AND Coke products. Appetizers, sandwiches, complete dinners, and so much more. Service is OUTSTANDING!! But give 'em a try and see for yourself just how good this place is.

Went there for my Mom's birthday and had a great time. Our waitress was very sweet and personable and the drinks were cheap and the food was great. Plus on your birthday you get your age percentage taken off your meal (example: 30% off the day you turn 30).

Delicious food. Some of the best chicken strips and burgers we've ever had. The chicken strips are homemade with a coating that is yummy. Burgers are huge. Specialty burger with garganzola and grilled onions is great . Good service and nice atmosphere, too.

Stopped in on a wednesday night. Were seated right away. Food was ordered, arrived very quickly. I had the fish platter, which was bluegill, perch and walleye, my wife had the veggie wrap. Both were awesome. The tarter sauce was not to my liking, but the fish was excellent. Will stop again if ever in the area.

One of my favorite places to go. Atmosphere is just as good as the food which is delicious. Fantastic burgers, amazing chicken, and some of the best wings around.

I can only say "Meh" about the food. The waitress was great, though.

Special was Bluegill fish and hogs wings. Sides were fresh Michigan asparagus and beer batter fries. Was recommended by local business today as we shopped. Well prepared. Good friendly service. The hog wings are pork shanks cooked like ribs. Fun menu. Looking around while enjoying our meal, I saw huge fresh salads. Sandwiches on marbled bread that would feed 2. Glad we listened to the locals

The food and service were both great! We had a group of 9 with kids and everyone enjoyed their meals. Hog wings, Blue Gill, Chicago Dip, French Dip, burgers, and fries were all prepared perfectly and tasty.

The 12 oz ribeye special was delicious but messy. Huge withe added onions and mushrooms that cover the steak. And it covered the platter. No complaints. Ready to try other things on their large menu.

Love the black and blue burger with the best sweet potato medallion chips ever. Great cooks and wait staff.

First off, a fair warning to anyone wanting to try this place for the first time - either go for lunch or if you must go for dinner, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are your best bets. I love this place - but so does everyone else in town. There is ALWAYS a wait for a table. Hopefully luck is on your side and you are able to snag a couple seats at the bar. Happy Hour is from 3-6 every day. ($5 mixed drink mini pitchers?! HELLOOOO) Food is great and always fresh. Portions are generous. I ordered the cobb salad once and literally got 3 seperate meals out of it. Wet burritos are REALLY good. Fried asparagus is seasonal, but worth the wait. Burgers are big and juicy. Cubanini - yum :) The french fries are really good, as are the home made potato chips. However, I highly recommend the tator tots. Who doesn't love tots?! Clean place, good food, great service. Go now!

Went there for dinner today and had the Cajun Gator as appetizer and it was delicious! Then had the bacon cheese burger and beer battered fries and it was all cooked to perfection. Love this place

Excellent! Stopped here when we were on vacation and had a great experience. All our meals were good. My husband said they were the best fried clams he has ever had. Burgers were good as well as the French dip. Glad we stopped and took a chance. We will definitely be back.

Great fun place with the best bluegill and perch around. Will make this place a regular spot for fish and chips.

A visit to this wonderful location was set up by brother Kim & Cheryl while I stayed with Dad in Muskegon on a weekend. Kim recommended the prime rib & mashed potatoes with gravy & I followed his lead, I added a salad with a mix of blue cheese & french dressing (Kim;s idea) with a 16 oz medium rare offering. I opted for a non-alcoholic beverage, but Dad, Kim, & Cheryl chose the house Bloody Mary, garnished with a pickle, 2 stuffed olives, & a slice of sausage. Excellent...... The prime rib arrived, was presented well, and delicious to boot. The mashed potatoes & beef gravy were awesome as well. My 4 companions opted for the 10 oz prime rib. My observations were that they were thinner cuts than I would have liked with a lot more fat on the meat, but all parties seemed happy with their choices. Dessert was not an option, unless I had gotten it to go. I was...... full..... I viewed several orders of Hog Wings (pork rib tips) that looked delicious & heard several patrons talking about the Ugly Steak. I now have future dining choices, since returning to Lefty & Romos' is not an option, but a must. *grin* Kudos to our attentive waitress Vallery, who kept us refilled, entertained, & happy. I highly recommend anyone looking a great prime rib & what also sound & looks like a great steak place to opt for Lefty & Romos' place.

Great food! I had the burrito and fried pickles. Ended up eating part of the burrito and having the rest for lunch the next day. Good service as well. Will definitely return to try something else o the menu!

This place is a gem! Stopped in on a Sunday night as we were staying in a friend's cabin in Twin Lakes and everything there was closed - what a good spot of luck that was, as Lefty's was the first place we found on our way into Muskegon. The decor inside is very nice and welcoming. I was so happy to see blue gill on the menu as it is very hard to find it other than fresh-caught yourself. it was done superbly - the best fried fish I have ever had. My wife was encouraged by our waitress to have the hog wings and they were fabulous. The next time we go back I will have a very hard decision as to which to order. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we had in the Muskegon area!

Holy crap, I'm drunk off of their Peach Cosmo and about to fall off my bar stool. Oh and the walleye and elk burger are awesome.

We eat here about twice a month and have yet to be disappointed. I love the roast beef dip sandwiches; my favorite the the Chicago Dip with giardiniera peppers. I also really like the Cubanini, chicken strips with fire sauce (yes they are hot!), and burgers. They have a nice selection of draft beer which they rotate regularly, and the French fries are excellent.

I have had dinner at Lefty's on 4-5 occasions and can tell with all honesty it's always been very tasty! The wait staff is friendly and the bartenders are not afraid to pour you an honest cocktail. Being a vegetarian I can't comment on some of their bigger ticket items but the food that I have ordered was fresh and had great flavors. I wouldn't think twice about recommending this place to friends, family or even strangers. The prices are average for a causal restaurant in the Muskegon area.

The place was packed with a wait list for table seating. I cannot understand why. Upon ordering two fish combos that includes perch, blue gill and baby walleye, our order was presented. My first bite into the perch was immediately spit out into a napkin. The perch was rancid and smelled. Both combos contained rancid perch. The other two fish items were OK, but you feel a bit anxious that your next bite may have the same rancid taste. The house salad was just OK, not anything special. The tarter sauce was very heavy and full of mayonnaise. Service is very quick in between courses. We were still eating the salad when the next course was brought to the table. If the kitchen is sending out rancid fish, it makes you wonder how fresh everything is and how particular the cook is! There is a fish batter on the fish. Perhaps the cook feels that if you cover it up enough, the consumer will not notice. I would never recommend this establishment.

Great stuff. We decided to give them a try after hearing some good things and we were really impressed. It's quite an operation and a great value. We tried the "Pork Wings" as an appetizer but will probably order them as an entree the next time. They are barbecued pork rib tips that are very meaty and entirely delicious. Their "Ugly Steak" is a neck loin cut that is delicious (add the mushrooms). Our party also ordered a spinach salad with chicken and a build-your-own pasta dish. Tanquerey and Tonics were $3.25 each. We were very happy and happy with the tab as well. Good job Everyone!
