I am usually not a fan of Coney Islands, but this one is the exception to the rule. I have been here a few times and never had a bad experience. This time, I was a very difficult customer. I am on the Whole30 plan so there is not much I can eat and I need things specially prepared. Rachel was wonderful and very accommodating. They let me substitute meet for hashbrowns and tomatoes for toast and they cooked my eggs and olive oil instead of soy oil. She also happily gave me a nice set up of hot water with lemon. Another great experience! I will be back.

Went there on my lunch break. The food was alright, portions were big though. Prices were OK for the food quality. The service could have been better, easily! Not sure if the server was having a bad day or what, either way leave the attitude at home, anywhere but here. would have given three stars if the service was better. May give it another try. Will see.

We go to Americus often, as the food is good and the portions are generous. The Waitstaff is excellent, courteous, and prompt. The only downside is that when it's crowded it is very noisy. This mostly happens around lunchtime when GM employees and other townspeople come in. Americus hosts several large groups in the morning. Our Veterans group has some of the best Waitresses who are amazing in remembering what each of us has ordered.

When I went to amaricus I got their waffles my mom got their ceaser salad and my dad got the 2 coney special they all where amazing. But I would have to say the ceasar salad was the best of all and my family agrees to. The prices are ok but other than that it was great!

Stopped in for a carryout gyro. Was told I would have a 10 min wait but it couldn't have been more than 4 min. Hostess offered me a drink while waiting on the house. Great service. Food was good not the best I ever had but generous portion and seared and cut off a rotating skewer.

Reliably good food, whatever you're in the mood for. The servers could be a little more attentive, and the coffee is pretty weak, but the food is good, portion sizes are more than generous, and the prices can't be beat.

A very busy and successful spot for lunch. I've dined there many times with a favorite client. Get there by 11:40 if you can as they get packed at noon. Today I got the Large Greek Salad with Gyro meat and pita bread. I couldn't finish it and I'm a big boy. It was excellent. They use very tasty high quality feta cheese. No skimping on olives or pepperoncini or beets. You probably don't need a large. Regular is fine but large is only about a buck more so what the hey! Prices are very reasonable. Soups are excellent. Menu variety is extraordinary.

We've gone for Breakfast and Dinner. The service sucked both times (even though our server was wonderfully kind and nice the first time), our server the second time was a bit of a b. Not a fan. If I'm going to spend $30-$40 on breakfast, I'll go to Cheryl's... which is what we should have done in the first place.

Way better than a typical coney in the burbs. Americus has replaced gross fast food at our house. We get take out. Everyone gets something delicious, it doesn't cost more, and can be healthier (depends on what you choose). We love the homemade rice pudding. I think they have the best salads in town and my husband enjoys their sandwiches. They are always busy, but still friendly and attentive.
