It's a treat to stop in here when I am down this way. I always shop for the locally grown produce first and then wander around looking for whatever pops out at me. There's alot of mmmmm and "pop out at me" stuff in this place, especially near the bakery!! A great spot to window shop for something sweet and tasty. I noticed the last time I stopped in that they have an electronic pre-order deli kiosk as you enter the store. I thought this was a great idea for those in a hurry.

Always a great market, fresh produce, great olives and deli selection. Even a great little wine selection with a very helpful gentleman who works in the the wine area, always has some great suggestions. On the way out the door, don't miss out on the thin crust brick oven pizza too. $10 for unlimited toppings. February 2010-Try the Gelato. Holy crap is that good!

Im in this store 3+ times per week, and have been for the last 7years. If you ever seen a lady with her 5 littlest ones under 9yrs old, that's me. The lady pulling one cart and pushing the other, with a few little ones trailing behind. And I'm ok with that, because here at Randazzos all the employees are UBER helpful and friendly. I always look forward to visiting here. I buy ALL my everything here...lunchmeat, cheeses, bakery, produce, meat and seafood and dry specialty goods. Everything exceeds expectations.... times 2! But what really seals the deal, is the employees. The "hellos" and "how are you" and being called by your 1st name, not to mention I bet about 1/2 of them know all 5 of my kids names, now that's service. The produce is literally fresh from the field, the seafood is some of the best I've EVER had. The meat, oh man, everything from bacon and sausage to babybacks, Fresh from the slab and whole NYs and steaks of all kinds--- better than any steak you've ever been to. In 7 years the chicken has always been juicy and tender. If that wasn't enough, the homemade pizza and gelato will MAKE you return for more. I could go on for 102 more lines, but instead, just go check them out. I've posted a few pics, in case you needed a visual aid, or just like food poon, lol. ; ) Trust me, you'll be back for seconds.

My rule is, if I can buy it at Randazzo's, I do. You get a feeling of relaxation and foodie inspiration the minute you walk in. The produce makes you want to eat healthy, and then the bakery begs you to be decadent. Their desserts are simply not to be believed. This is always my go-to place for anything special for a party or the holidays. My favorite thing is probably the prepared food. My daughter prefers their salmon to any she has ever eaten anywhere, and all of their soups are fantastic. Their selection of meat and seafood is vast and fresh. Lastly, don't miss the pizza. Often when I walk in to shop I stop in front and order a pizza and grab it on the way out. The best in town.

Beautiful market. Great produce... The lady at the gelato counter was amazing!

I went to Randozzo's July 29th to pick up 3 pizzas. The pizza is usually good because the ingredients are fresh and they use real cheese. I have to admit, the pizza last night was sub-par. The ingredients seemed flat and half of one pizza was burned to a point that no one ate the pieces when I got the pizzas home. Seems like pizza for Randazzo is an after thought. They do such a great job in other areas of their store, wish the consistency would show up in their pizza making efforts.

Clean, friendly service. Probably my favorite place to shop for food. Try the gelato! It's heavenly!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Randazzo's yet. I love this place. Their produce is always fresh, and when in season, it is a guaranteed better deal here than any other grocers. Some of their farm fresh veggies are grown right in their own backyard...literally! There are umpteen kinds of fresh cheeses to choose from, and walking into their bakery is like taking shelter inside a french baguette, the smell of fresh bread is intoxicating! My husband knows that when I say I'm going to stop here for a minute, he'll only see me an hour and a half later. There's no such thing as a quick trip to Randazzo's! Still have yet to try their brick oven baked pizzas made in house, I'll update after consumption.

Wow, great pizza and gelato! I had the mushroom and truffle oil and also the pepperoni - really good. The gelato is crazy good - all flavors - I just stood there tasting all of them !

Do not miss the pizza counter. The best pizza you will ever eat. The pizzas are fresh, thin crust baked in a wood fired oven - fresh toppings and expertly made. The Spinguni is wonderful (always get the anchovies!). It's a true hidden gem.

FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!!! Love this store... Jumped in after a workout...and lost it in the bakery section... To die for cakes, pies, cannolis, pasties, cookies...sigh... My friend and I actually cozied up to the coffee bar with our newly bought dreamy cake, and sfogliatelle...which I have been dying to try ever since I heard another yelper Brian S. talk about them.... Perfect Saturday morning. I also walked out with some pumpkin pasta sauce (can't wait to cook that up into an alfredo) and some other goodies.. They have a beautiful meat display, great and unique produce... The best specialty grocery store...and I didn't think the prices were that high. Don't get me wrong, they are higher...but maybe not as high as Nino's Muah!! Going back!

Good selection of meats, specialty and butcher. Was disappointed to see a more heavy farm raised fish selection. Cheese and wine selection is only okay, the specialty item selection is congruent to the small space they have. Basics are not cheap - but also, this is not Kroger. Good in a bind.

On Saturday, June 25th, I picked up the most amazing full sheet cake from Randazzos!!! White cake, strawberry mouse & fresh strawberries in the filling, covered with white chocolate shavings. A white chocolate plate with my sons name beautifully written on it too!! It was gorgeous and so delicious I had to hide a piece for later. I have never had a party that a full sheet cake was eaten so quickly. It wasn't to sweet and very light, soooo many compliments!! I also ordered a fruit topiary that was so extraordinary I used it as a centerpiece as well.

Living so close to Randazzos, I shop there almost daily to get the fresh produce to serve my family with more fresh, delicious and healthier meals. They also have large selection of quality seafood, definitely the best in the area.

My husband visited this location because he was on dinner duty...after walking around a bit, he decided to purchase pizza by the slice for the family that evening. When he told the woman behind the counter that he wanted all the pieces she became visibly upset. My husband told her she looked very upset that he was purchasing all the slices and she replied that yes, she was, and that now they had to make another pizza, and that THIS pizza was reserved for people buying it BY THE SLICE, and that he should have pre-ordered his pizza. She then yelled back to someone with a rude irritated tone that they needed to make ANOTHER pizza because someone just came and bought the whole pizza he just made. This was wrong on so many levels, I'm not even sure where to begin. This girl should be very thankful that it wasn't ME...because I would have blown a total gasket. If we are willing to pay the PER SLICE price for the pizza, it should not matter whether we purchase 1 slice or 20 slices. I did call and spoke with the Manager who was very surprised because this same woman had just been named employee of the month...he did say he would go talk to her right away, and offered me a free pizza...but I told him I wasn't interested in a free pizza, and just wanted him to know what was happening...there are far too many fresh markets in the area for any customer to be treated that way. I'm happy to patron Nino's or Vince & Joe's instead...I know service there will always be stellar.

I recently moved to the area and was spoiled rotten by my previous butcher who knew my name and my cut of meat and who would call me at home when it was ordered and cut to my speicifications... the joys of small town living :-) I originally went here because I was looking for pepper ham for stromboli I hadn't been able to find at the grocery store deli. I walked inside and lo! and behold, this store has got more specialty Italian items in its small space than I think I've seen anywhere else in the ten years I've lived in Michigan! Anyway, I'm an East Coast girl at heart so this store has more offerings like I'm used to. The chicken and spinach sausage, the wine and pork sausage... a. maz.ing ! The bakery area? Eh... I'm a baker in the home so I don't spend much time there, but their bread is pretty fine. LOVE the pasta section with all the offerings of different flavored sauces/gravies and types of pasta/noodles! I usually buy larger quantities of meats and vacuum seal and freeze so I can get the bulk prices, but I've gone in and they've been out of the sale-priced meats quite early in the day with no offer to grind more ground beef, which I find unacceptable. The pork chops we bought were cut rather on the thin side, especially after cooking. The produce section is fabulous! However, their cashiers have continually left a bad taste in my mouth every *single* time I've been there. No "thank you" after I drop a couple hundred bucks? I signed up for the frequent buyer program, but never received an explanation what the heck I was getting out of it or what benefit it is for ME other than I get a flyer now and then to my house. WHY is there a fishbowl of receipts at the exit? Am I supposed to put my receipt in there - what for??? No one has *ever* bothered to explain that to me, but only to scold me that if I don't remember my frequent buyer card "we can't look you up by your phone number, so you better have it with you!" Really???? Rude! They also act all out of joint whenever I bring my own bags in for them to use instead of their plastic sacks - like it's an imposition to save them money and save the environment!?!? I only go here because I can't find some of the things anywhere else and/or I haven't found another butcher shop with better prices or meat. Once I've lived here longer, I expect that'll change because I just can't stand to be treated so rudely by the people who are there to provide service to their customers. That's apparently not in their training manual.

I just lose all sense of composure when I enter this store. I go in for a couple things and end up overloading myself with more veggies, baked goods, Italian deli products, etc. than your average hoarder. There's just so much to look at! And the meat and fish is so fresh! Gallon jug of olive oil? Don't mind if I do! But, thankfully, I find their veggies and fruit to be high-quality and it doesn't go bad as quickly as, say, a regular ol' bunch of lettuce. I also find that the prices are as good or better than the big box stores on the produce, meat, deli, etc. But...some of the other stuff is pricey (I recoiled a little at the $5 orange juice), sometimes it gets really crowded and crazy, and you can't find all of your processed food grocery needs here, so I do have to mix it up and go to the regular ol' grocery stores sometimes.

Good luck in the deli dept. it's the blind leading the blind. Waiting 15 Mins for two half pound of lunch meat. Mind you there was two women They obviously need training from the Garfield store! Check out cashier and bagger had a great conversation with one another too Sent using OWA for iPhone trying from the Garfield store. Not impressed with check out either. Cashier and bagger totally having a great conversation with each other. Will go out of my way before I come back to this one.

My boyfriend and I stopped in yesterday afternoon in hopes of starting a new healthy eating regime. As soon as you are walking towards the vestibule you're hit in the face with fresh baked pizza..yummy! The gelato looked delicious as well and i'm kicking myself for not trying some. Very tempting! All the names and prices are labeled and very visible for all the items. Prices are very reasonable for how fresh the produce is. I like that the fruits told you exactly what they were, where they came from and how they taste. Our only issue was in the deli department. The number system works awesome and it shows who's waiting and who is being helped. I work in a deli and i'm pretty particular how I like my lunch meat sliced. The deli clerk didn't show us any first slices and everything was sliced way too thick. Imagine cheese and crackers. Thats how thick everything was sliced. He also gave me the wrong cheese and made it seem like it was such an inconvenience to slice something different. Plenty of brands and flavors. There is definitely something for everyone! All the workers were very helpful, especially when the power went out. Very friendly.

They have a good selection and mostly reasonable prices, but their service leaves a LOT to be desired. Every time I go in, every employee I interact with acts like they are doing me a huge favor at great imposition. Whether I ask them if they carry something and where to find it, or am selecting baked goods or my deli order, even while checking out, everything is done with the most bored, irritated, look on their face, frequent sighs and barely checked eye rolls. I was in the other day, and when my turn came to checkout, the cashier suddenly turns to me and asks me to wait while she takes the customer behind me who'd just walked up!! I handed her my own bag to use, so she put all my groceries in plastic bags and pushed them at me - with my empty bag. ?! Nino's has slightly higher prices on some things, a slightly different inventory, but much better service. Kroger has much better prices, AND better service! I know I'd prefer to give my business to a store that actually wants my business!!

Randazzo's makes it a point to tale you on a trip to Europe when you enter the wooden barn door. A huge selection of the best quality produce. Every deli meat you can think of. The fanciest, most delicious sweets. They make homemade EVERYTHING: marinara sauce, pizza dough, pasta, dinners, ready-to-cook seasoned meats, sushi, & the freshest seafood you'll find in the area. I can honestly say they have the best quality produce - & the BEST PRICES! I Decent wine & cheese selection, extensive olive bar & enough coffee to last you & your friends a lifetime.

Yes, the quality of the food is great...but the many of the people that work here are miserable sour pusses that shouldn't have jobs in the service industry. Randazzos needs to hire better employees. How about employees that aren't so rude and don't look like they would rather be anywhere but at work? The cashiers are idiots for the most part...bunch of spray-tanned Jersey Shore wannabes. I've learned not to make eye-contact.

Always fresh. Lots of local and regional produce. Meat and seafood are great. During busy times prepare for a wait for sliced meats but its worth it.

Great prices on fresh produce! Much cheaper than the chain grocery stores all around the area. They also have excellent meat and seafood. I haven't tried the baked goods, or olive bar/cheeses, but I've heard good things. Large wine selection too. Excellent market if you're in the area.
