My husband and I went here for lunch. I ordered the fish and chips and he had crunchy fish, chicken strips, ceasar salad and corn on the cob. When I was ordering, the waitress asked if I wanted chips or fries with my fish, I told her I wanted chips. Then we waited, and waited, and waited for our food! It took about 35 - 40 minutes for our food to come out, and by then I was full from the cheddar biscuits! And when the waitress put my plate on the table there were plain regular fries on it. I asked where my chips were, and she replied the fries are the chips (???) So then why did she ask if I wanted chips or fries, if the fries are the chips??? But whatever! My husband didn't care for the crunchy fried fish, he said it tasted like frozen, breaded fish from the grocery store. They did replace it with a very nice piece of fried fish, so that was okay. Our waitress was friendly and we reflected our appreciation in her tip. It was a pretty nice lunch, only big complaint was having to wait so long for our meal.

I been put off until today. Let me tell you, everything is good until I bite the crab leg, something pop out on the skin, look closely, it look like the tiny worms on there, gross, I bit on the worm!!!! That made me lose my appetites , call out the waitress, she bring the crab legs inside, came out she said"the chef said it the peeper." I can see the the worms, women!!! She bring the dish inside again, then another the women came out, I assume is the manager , told me that it is the particle in the water some time it's happened , it's is normal ! Okay!!! I take her words for that!!! Still no appetites , I took the rest home, and that whole night I got diarrhea , sleep on the toilet. My first time here and also the last in this restaurant.. Apparently, they think I want a free meal here so make big deal about my food had worm!!!!No, I am not!!!

Arrived and was seated very quickly. Waitress was very prompt and courteous. Food came in good time. Everything was hot and the server was very detailed on instructions on handling the hot plates. The lobster harbor meal was the best I have ever had. The waitress keep our biscuits and drinks full with out asking. The cost was very acceptable for the food and service

Four of us in the restaurant. They brought the two main dishes out in 10 minutes (mussels) and other two main dishes in 35!!! minutes!!! Coleslaw wasn't fresh, had a distinct smell. First two mojitos ordered were just plain soda with lime and mint. Then we asked for another one, it was good enough (which essentially gave it two stars). While I'm typing this, it's been 40 minutes since my wood-grilled tacos haven't been out. Don't come here. Horrible service. Dirty floors. Waiters don't really care about you. Timer will keep running until my tacos come out. P.S. Oh, and some tables aren't lighted up because guess what...light bulbs haven't been replaced... The table was also dirty when we were seated. I eventually refused to get tacos, principally, because I just am not hungry anymore...after 45 minutes of wait. Will I pay for tacos? Absolutely not. The reason why it came out in 45 minutes was explained in a following manner: salads appetizers come out first, salads come out second, then main dishes come out...in 45 minutes. As I mentioned, first two main dishes came out in 10 minutes, then within 20 minutes clam chowder came out. Then, 10 minutes later, tacos came out. And I refused them. Still thinking if I should've asked for a manager. ACHTUNG!!! Don't come here!

The Darden family always have me coming back for more! The 3 Course shirmp meal was alright since the coconut shrimp tasted like it was just in the microwave. Overall the server was very helpful. Place was crowded but none of our food was served cold. I recommend the clam chowder , it was unforseen. Shrimo Tempura barely had any shrimp taste to it. But anyway i indeed will be back to try.

This place is in dire need of a makeover. A coworker and I went in for lunch (with a coupon for $5 off of course), and I stepped back in time to the Brady Bunch. This place is OLD. Unfortunately, it smells old and musty too. We were seated in a dim booth with sticky vinyl seats and a sticker tabletop. Our server Rod was actually really on his game throughout, so I have to give him credit for that. I ordered the seaside mix which came with a lobster pot pie, garlic grilled shrimp on wild rice, a baked potato, and a Cesar salad. The salad came out and it was pretty unappealing. Brown edged lettuce, very little dressing (it was quite dry). The only good point about it was the abundance of shaved Parmesan cheese. The main course came out and I immediately tackled the grilled shrimp & wild rice. The shrimp was skewered and well seasoned with lots of garlic. The rice was well cooked and flavorful. Moving on to the Lobster Pot Pie, which is what got me to go in the first place. Unfortunately, it was BIG disappointment. I actually got 2 pieces of lobster, and I knew because they did NOT taste good. Overly fishy, like maybe they were a bit old. The baked potato and cheddar bay biscuits were good, but not enough to make up for the lobster. Now...looking at my bill, I see that my $5 off two dinners was only discounted $3. I'm even less happy now!

We waited a little bit but not too bad. The problem for us was the very loud family next to us. It was almost too much to bear. The waiter kept saying he was sorry but did nothing to shut them up! They had kids running around and were so 2 people left before they even ordered. Food was decent. Management just has to make sure EVERYONE has an enjoyable experience.

My friend is in Hospice and confessed to me, that she had never eaten lobster, ever! Can you even imagine. As a New Englander I felt it was my obligation to get this girl a lobster. I found this Red Lobster location was fairly close to the hospice facility so I pulled in there about 5:15 last evening. I was directed to order my to go meal at the bar. The young lady there was very nice and took my order quickly and efficiently. Since I was not sure how well my pal would be able to manage the shells I asked for the lobster to be steamed, cracked and cleaned. As I waited I met the service manager, Ann. We chatted about where I was delivering this meal and I told her about my sweet friend. She was very understanding and went in the kitchen to give further instructions. When she came out she offered to have the meal put on a regular glass plate and include all the accoutrements , silverware etc. I appreciated it but did say I really needed her to include a fork. The meal came out after a short wait, and I was offered a nice cold soda while I waited. They were super nice! I delivered the meal to my friend, she loved it. By the way! Her daughter was with her so they shared a bit. It was fun for me to see how much the two of them enjoyed this meal. After a short visit, I returned the fork to the Red Lobster with my thanks. These folks helped me to make a dying woman a little happier. If you have a food or treat on a bucket list, please don't wait. Go get it. Eat dessert first and be happy! Thanks Red Lobster and thanks Ann and crew. I will be back!

Flies everywhere, RUDE waitresses, had to ask for cheddar biscuits.. WTF?! Will go the extra 10 miles to the novi location. Will NEVER return to this location and I live very close. One of the most ghetto red lobsters I have ever been to.

We only come here once a year (Shrimp Feast..) Personally, this isn't my place for seafood, but my family loves fried shrimp (non butterflied, heavy breading, small shrimp...) so I indulge them as it's only $14.99 a person and they get their fill. For the $ you get salad, bread and entree. If you're patient enough to wait, you can certainly get your monies worth in shrimp. Apparently we're lucky to get great service. The hostess greeted us with a smile and let us know it would be about 10-15 minutes. (she wasn't lying...it didn't turn into a 30 minute wait like some places). Karl, our server was busy busy busy, but he let us know where we stood in the que of tables and we were ok to wait. He was fast and attentive, when he could be (except he never offered or came back to refill our drinks til the end). Food: again, I am not a fan of seafood from here. I will just state that the food was hot and served promptly. The caesar salad was very good, as was the bread.

Good news, this location has had a much needed renovation. The walls, decor, booths, and bathrooms have all been completely redone. We go to this location maybe three times a year. The food is consistent and the service is always great. No complaints.

This was my first time at this particular Red Lobster. It was a Monday night and it was PACKED. The parking lot is small, though. I had to park on the side of the bldg towards the back and my cousin had to park BEHIND the bldg, in the neighboring store's parking lot. They could use a parking ovrerhaul. Anyway, I had a drink at the bar while I waited for my cousin to arrive. I asked for a drink that wasn't on the menu... a hummer. One of the passing bartenders made it for me, with Kahlua & vodka. I prefer mine with Bailey's and rum. Dah well. It was tasty, as most ice cream drinks would be. Once my cousin arrived, we were told we'd be seated in 5 minutes, by who appeared to be the manager. Sure enough, in 5 minutes, we were taken to our table. Our server, Calvon, was friendly and attentive. We ordered the 4 courses for $15 deal and our orders came out accurately and hot. The presentation was appealing...we had a pleasant dining experience. This location is a hike for me, so I wouldn't run back out there or anything -- I have a RL closer to me. But for anyone researching this particular location, other than the parking, I have no other complaints. It was A-OK.

Never again. Wish I read the reviews first. When we came in we kept hearing, "one second", "one second". More like minute after minute. Even though it was after 9 and not that busy. That wasn't too bad... until we sat down. Our server greeted us and said she'd be right with us. Yeah, ten minutes later. She didn't even take our drink orders first or give us water at least. When she finally came back to our table she took our food order and our drink order. From the time we came in to the time we finally received our meal, 40 minutes had passed. The food wasn't even that great, compared to the Novi location we visited a few days ago. When she eventually came to give us our check, we reminded her that we wanted to order dessert, and based on how long everything took we decided to order it to go. When she dropped off our dessert she forgot to take the check and card. Guess what, we ended up waiting a while for her to come back and get that! Won't be coming back to this location anytime soon.

I knew not to go back to this Red Lobster location from past experience (and from what the locals tells us), but my husband thought it would be good since Red Lobster should be consistent with each other (we occasionally crave Red Lobster food). This location is HORRIBLE!!!!!! The service was absolutely slow - even to get water! The food was cold and atmosphere was not friendly, like the staff was not happy. Our server told us that they now have to bus their own tables during the weekdays (I am sure his excuse for the poor service!). But come on, the customers don't have to suffer! We still ate our cold food because we were so hungry and prayed we would not get sick. Do yourself a favor and not go to this Red Lobster location, unless if you want to eat nasty food. What a disappointment! We wasted $60.00! Oh, our prayer was answered, we did not get sick, only a bad experience! HA!!

Absolutely the worst red lobster I've ever been to. Place was not even close to full but we had to wait 10 minutes anyways. When we got seated our waitress said she would be right with us. We waited ten more minutes and a random clueless girl came to take our drink orders for our waitress. 5 more minutes lapsed when the same random girl comes back to ask my friend if she wanted her margarita frozen or on the rocks. She starts to walk away and I asked how mine was being made as she didn't ask me. She said I dunno?!? Waited 5 more minutes, still no drinks (not even water) nor had we even seen our waitress since the first pass by. At this point we just got up and left. I don't care how busy a restaurant is, a customer should never wait 20 minutes to get a drink or place an order. Service is absolutely poor at this location and we will not return.

If you like Red Lobster then this is a good location. Not as busy as the one on Wayne and Ford (which is crazy busy). We've always had good waiters.

Service was horrible here. I was there to celebrate my boyfriends 34th birthday with my sister and her boyfriend. Not only did we sit there for 25 minutes without being acknowledged, but when we finally were greeted by the server we were treated badly and the server rushed us to give her our order. Our food arrived at different intervals leaving half of us done with our meals while the other 2 were still waiting for their dinner. Our beverages remained empty for the entire meal and the server never checked back to see if we needed anything. Both my sister and I are seasoned waitresses, i've been managing a restaurant for 7 years and she has been at her job for 4 years. We understand that people have bad days, but we were treated horribly. We still left her a $10 tip for apparently wasting her time, but we will NEVER be back and this location and it will NEVER be recommended to anyone. Thanks for the horrible service Antanesha H, you ruined an evening of celebration.

Typically I am a fan of Red Lobster's...not because of the seafood (I clearly dislike seafood) but because of the wondrous cheese bread. It's absolutely to die for...but I'm sure you already knew that. I actually didn't have that great of a time at this Red Lobster, and it was mainly because of the "false advertisement" issue. I am a super fan of broccoli and noticed that my entree had broccoli pictured with it on the menu. Once my food came, I asked why the broccoli wasn't with the meal and the server said "They just used the broccoli to fill up space". Now maybe I was just ultra sensitive that day, but that left me a little annoyed. Either way, I enjoyed my meal without the florets but it wasn't worthy of the 3 stars.
