I really like Potbelly, and don't get to eat here as much as I would like. There really isn't really close to me and I miss eating here. I first fell in love with Potbelly after a trip to Chicago many years ago, and have had a taste for them since. I've always had good experiences at their locations, and today was no different. I stopped in here today because I was at Kinko's next door making copies for work, and was quite hungry afterwards. When I walked in, I was impressed with it being so busy. Clearly, there's a regular lunch crowd that comes in here, which is good. There was plenty of staff and I was greeted right away when I walked in. I decided to go with the Roast Beef Sandwich to go, and it was made to my liking. I passed on the chips and drink part because I wasn't really interested at the time, but my sandwich was delicious! It really hit the spot and was wonderful. I will say, next time I'm getting it without hot peppers! I loved how they spiced up the sandwich, but dang it, my mouth was burning for like 20 minutes after I finished. The place here is really clean and appears to be in good shape. The consistency here is great and I haven't been let down yet. If I'm on this side of town again, I would gladly stop back in to pick up another sub. I also love that they have lighter options on their menu's here, along with great prices as well.

My first Potbelly experience was about a year ago at the Macomb location. Since then I've had a good craving for one of their sandwiches (cookies too!) After driving by this Livonia location about a week ago, I knew I had to try it again and yesterday I did just that. I strolled in around 3PM so it was fairly quiet. Not quite lunch time but not quite dinner time as well. I noticed how clean the space was. All the tables were spotless and a lady was also cleaning the empty tables and stocking product on the floor -- a plus in my book. No one enjoys a dirty table! I was greeted at the counter by a young man and woman who gladly answered some questions, as I was fairly new to the Potbelly's experience. After a few moments to scan over the menu I ordered the Turkey Breast sandwich on multigrain bread with Swiss cheese. The next gentleman recommend mustard and lettuce on my sandwich if I wanted to keep it simple (not too many fixings for me!) I finished off my order by buying a cookie for my man friend and myself. The sandwich was absolutely delicious! I'm not much of Subway or Jimmy Johns's fan so saying I love a sandwich from a fast food place is rather good! Completely filling and not too pricey. I also managed to hit a home run by buying my friend one of the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! May have to make it a special treat and tradition every time I am in town. This location also offers the option to order online and they even offer delivery for an added convenience. Overall I will be returning. Great place for lunch by yourself or even a group of friends. Incredibly kind workers who know how to make you smile and make sure you're accommodated accordingly.

I thought on the way there, "Man, this better be good! I am breaking my no flour rule!" I am always "watching what I eat" and rarely eat lunch at a restaurant (I bring leftovers) but I really had a craving for Potbelly, and I caved and went to get it. I got my typical TKY on wheat. I left off the mayo because I was saving fat grams for later. In general, the sandwich was bland - toppings were minimal. I could not taste any of the pickles or onions or oil that was requested on the sammy. Was it fast? yes, it was fast and fresh but If a sammy needs mayo to even equate to as tolerable... I don't think its a very good sammy!!

Went here with a good friend of mine and I was not disappointed. I had a wreck salad and it was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and the location was clean and beamed with friendly folks coming in to order. My salad was about 6-7 dollars which I though was a little high but acceptable. The decor was nice and I like that there was outside seating available.

Excellent menu. I enjoy that they share the nutrition information with you in the store and online. There are several healthy and tasty options. This not only includes the sandwiches, chips and soups but also the bottled beverages. The employees here are very friendly and can make an amazing sandwich. The dining room is clean and handicapped accessible. I enjoy that they are in a corner space, this adds a lot of light to the dining room.

Filthy floor and tables. We were the only customers, so not sure why the place was so messy. Had a difficult time finding a semi-clean table. (3 people working, too.) Not a fan of hot sandwiches but ordered the Mediterranean while my husband ordered something unforgettable. The food was so-so to bleech, and a bottle of water was $1.60. (this same water brand I bought at our local grocery store back East for $2.99 for 24 bottles) $21.00 for two barely eat-able sandwiches, two drinks, two bags of chips, and a bag of stale cookies. We won't be back.

This location is always friendly and they have an acoustic musician during the lunch hour sometimes. Even during the busiest times they are very fast. I love the skinny pair with tuna and potato soup!

I swear this location is skimping on the amount of meat and cheese put on subs. Tasty though.

I love potbelly and have loved it even more since they have come out with some great vegetarian soup options. This specific location is close to my house so I go to this one often, they are always friendly. Every Potbelly I have been in though has been really friendly, so I like them all that i've been too. I usually get the skinny pair with tuna and whatever veggie soup is available that day; the spicy southwest veggie is my favorite! I like to dip my tuna sandwich in the soup, delic!! Recently they have come out with their new mediterranean veggie sandwich which I was excited about because I'm vegetarian and it gives me another option there. Unfortunately I did not love the sandwich very much. They put the hummus and feta cheese on it before they run it through the oven and there's something about warm hummus that just doesn't do it for me. I think I love the tuna with the soup so much too and that's always what I have a taste for when I go in there, so I will probably stick with that! Another thing I like about potbelly is their mustard. They have spicy brown mustard instead of yellow (yuck!). I like mustard as real as I can get it! I will be back again and again for my tuna and soup combo. I think the Mediterranean veggie is worth a try if you like that kind of sandwich, you might like it! Also, they have this drink in the cooler called MASH, try it, its delicious. It is a sparkling pomegranate blueberry beverage, yum! I always love the ambiance and look of the potbellys inside as well, oh and the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, the best!!!! I might have to go there right now!!

Yesterday I was on my way to Senate Coney Island for a hot dog with my special lady friend (SLF) and passed by Potbelly, which I'd been eyeing for awhile. I've been to a few other Potbellys before and liked their product. I decided to pull a U-ey and hit it up to see what's new and give my girl the chance to try it. We pulled up and I immediately noticed a gentleman playing guitar inside to the lunch crowd. We stepped in and looked around to find where to order and walked over to the counter. My SLF ordered the turkey on thin cut wheat and I got a roast beef on white, a cup of broccoli cheese soup and a bag of Zappo's Salt and Vinegar chips (which were fantastic btw). Our sandwiches came out of the toasting oven within a minute or so so we collected our chips and went to the register, paid, found an empty table and sat down to eat. By this time the guitarist was packing up to leave so I couldn't tell you if the music was a plus or not, but the food was pretty good. My SLF liked her turkey but she noted that the amount of mayo was a little extreme. The soup was good too. My roast beef was tasty! The hot peppers were a must for next time and there was a ton of mayo on my sandwich but as gross as it may be to some people I'm down with heavy mayo. On the negative, I did get one big bite of really fatty meat but I liked the flavor profile of my sandwich overall and like I said the chips were really really good. My only other contention besides the ball of gristle was that the store was kind of dirty. The tables were covered in crumbs, as were the bench seats and the floor. No beueno for repeat customer action but still a worthwhile stop for a decent sandwich.

I called a pick up order. When I got there they rang up a turkey which is not what I ordered I ordered a tuna salad. When I called I said tuna salad. They said not a problem that they will get the tuna. They gave a pickles, peppers, tomato's (I said no tomato) lettuce, cheese and nothing else. No tuna salad!

Potbelly of course is a chain. It definitely separates itself from it's competitors with the country homey type atmosphere and the live music. I had the chicken salad sandwich here, was pretty good but nothing exceptional. This is a nice spot for a normal day work lunch, again nothing special.
