This is the best Chinese food I've had in the Lansing area, and some of the best I've had in a long time. Most of the time I find Chinese take out places to just be very average at best, but this place was very good. My boyfriend and I both ordered combination plates for dinner. He ordered general tsao's chicken with an egg roll, and I had tofu with veggies & a crab Rangoon. The egg roll & crab Rangoon were pretty standard. The sauces on both of our meals were excellent. Also I appreciated that my tofu came with a good quantity & variety of veggies you don't necessarily get from most Chinese places. The whole meal came out to about $15 and we each had enough for two meals. Only downside is they don't deliver, but I'll be ordering take out from here anytime I'm in the mood for some Chinese stir fry.

It's a mom and pop type of business......People are super nice.....that's why I gave more stars than the food was worth. I guess it depends on the style you are looking for. Hot and Sour soup was very bitter....I ordered it on the mild side.....but all I could taste was pepper flakes. They misunderstood what I wanted.....I wanted meatless fried rice.....and I received a veggie delight type of dish. They were hunks of eggs which had a terrible taste and it lacked onions and carrots.......also not fond of the bean sprouts in my rice. The flavor just didn't stand out. I would suggest NOT eating in......the place is a bit dirty and while only 65 degrees outside....it was pushing 85 inside. I won't return

I'm so upset that I've never noticed this little hole-in-the-wall place but I'm so very happy I finally got the chance to go here. I ordered my favorite, a combination platter which was sweet & sour chicken but switched it up a bit and got lo mein noodles instead and I was very pleased. I'm very peculiar about my s & s chicken because some places it's too breaded, the sauce tastes canned, super greasy deep fried chicken, etc.... but this place had it perfect. The lo mein noodle were so yummy too! Also waiting time was not bad either, probably about 8 minutes, which I don't mind at all for the quality of food. This place is my new favorite Chinese spot.

Meh, maybe it was the time of day I went but my general tso was over cooked and the rice was not exciting.

tasty and super cheap! get them to make it fresh for you rather than buying from the pre-prepared lunch steamer tray options. nothing mind blowing, but yummy ingredients and lots of flavor.

I love my chinese food and this place is probably the best in Lansing for take-out. Huge portion sizes and you can't go wrong with the menu. Crab ragoons are great too!

I was very happy with our take-out. They were pretty slow but with how fresh and well prepared the food was it didn't even matter.

Terrible customer service. Each time we go the wait is at least twice the amount of time they stated. If you can get past the rudeness of the staff, the food is pretty good.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
