I came here during a break between college classes and the employees were really nice to me, even though I took a while to decide what I wanted. They got the food and drinks to me quickly and it was delicious. Also their prices are reasonable too.

Totally Brewed Cafe offers a breath of fresh air and inexpensive coffee. It's tucked away at the ground floor of the Comerica Building. While not fancy, the restaurant pulls off simple well. For under $10, you can buy a meal and a coffee drink. They suggest their Cherryberry Salad, which accentuates the otherwise boring iceberg lettuce with cranberry raisins, cherries, blueberries, almonds, pecans, and feta all topped off by raspberry vinaigrette. If the salad is too lean, try the Sloppy Joe, because it's the ideal comfort food. There is no wi-fi, for which the barista apologized extensively, so view it as a different experience. Instead of tapping away at your smartphone, take the opportunity to try their Sack Lunch special. With a sandwich, pickle, chips, and a cookie, look back at the days of bringing mom's packed lunch to school. The cafe has seating both inside and out, and inside the ambiance is filled by yellow painted walls, rustic decor, an open view, and the low humming of their refrigeration units fill in the space. Iced coffee is delivered in a styrofoam cup and their salad is served in the plastic box, but it tastes both fresh and refreshing in spite of its utilitarian presentation. It's not the hippest cafe in town, but it's a perfect downtown nook when you're looking for some air.

Totally Brewed is my favorite place to eat downtown for Lunch. They have best Turkey Sandwiches ever! Everything is fresh and tasty! Everything is clean and cozy and all the ladies that work there are insanely sweet. If you are looking for a simple yet delicious lunch go to Totally Brewed!

This was my first time visiting Totally Brewed and I will definitely return. I was meeting my cousin for lunch and she recommended that we go there. It was cozy and bright with plenty of seating inside for a quick lunch, or coffee and pastries. There was also outdoor seating with a nice opportunity to people watch. The woman who waited on us was extremely kind and friendly, even complimenting my cousin's hairstyle. She said we should have the yummy 3-cheese grilled cheese and tomato soup that was the special of the day. We did, and we both enjoyed our meal tremendously. I look forward to heading back for coffee, baked goods, lunch or Plainwell ice cream sometime soon.

I was working in Kalamazoo, Michigan last year for a client and went to find something to eat for lunch in the area. I found Totally Brewed Cafe, went in to order and realized I had no cash in my pocket. I was so embarrassed. After talking with the owner about my unfortunate situation she offered to let me have the last of the soup (as it was late in the day) and a half of a grilled cheese, both of which were extremely yummy. I meant to write this at the time but life took over. They were so awesome and the food so delicious I figured better late than never.

Good downtown lunch spot. Nothing fancy or amazing here, but decent prices (about $6 for a meal and drink), great bread (had the chicken salad sandwich), and a pretty cool location (right across from Bronson park).
