Hit it or Quit it: Hit it only if Jackson Coffee Co. is closed (Sundays). Quickly: The manifestation of the greater corporate takeover of small town America. I've been to many Starbucks', mostly in large cities, because I was made to. I'm not a fan. I think it's perceived as 'cool' so people either pretend to like it or convince themselves to like it. The coffee isn't that good and their food is sub par with the exception of the delectable cakepops. Prices are a bit high. What this Starbucks brings to Jackson, however, is sorely needed. Starbucks' typical store brand...a classy and chill place to hang. Loungy. I always use alternatives in big cities but there is a dearth of such establishments here. Still, I think Jackson Coffee Co. is a better option doing the same thing. Then there is Bigbby which is always a solid. Together with JCC you have two good places to go instead *and* you support local business at the same time. Take that, socially conscious hipsters! Panera is another decent place, across the street. All basically places for young, hip, upward mobile 20 and 30 somethings to gather. Along with Starbucks, these all represent alternatives to the ubiquitous 'bar' that litters Jackson and contributes to gastroenterologist's salaries everywhere. However, I'm also anti-Starbucks at a higher level...not a fan of their racist CEO. *gasp* he's racist? Yes. He is. He doesn't want you living in his neighborhood but he loves taking your money with a smile. Look it up. Feel free to ask me if you'd like. Note: I am not from Jackson. I'm not even from Michigan. I just work here.

I visit this Starbucks on my way to/from visiting the west side of the state. I love it because: Great location (right off of I-94) and near a lot of shops and restaurants in Jackson. Plenty of Parking. Lots of seating. Usually not too long of a wait for a drink. They have a lot more food options than what I see at other Starbucks. A lot of hot sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend!

I have been spending an inordinate amount of time at this Starbucks location over the last week: they are awesome. The staff is warm and friendly, let you take your time and will help customers with what drink to order. They make a great latte, even the skim ones have a great foam on top. Seating space: not a whole lot, but 3 high tables, one big table with 6 chairs and 4 comfy chairs and a hand full of small square tables: clean surfaces and in good repair. Bathroom: clean! Location: perfect, right off the highway with easy access back onto 94

I've gotta say... pretty easy to access... My order was accurate, hot and served quickly... Staff was friendly and gracious... On a ridiculously cold day (-2 degrees) they "oopsed" and gave me a Venti instead of a Grande... That's the kind of service that earns loyalty!

Nice relaxing music and you can find a seat almost all the time. This is in contrast to most Starbucks that pump up the volume yo! Until your inner ear can't forget the beat when you walk out. Plenty of high class leather chairs (count two) and 5 tables make this place comfortable and warm on a cold day.

We stopped here after lunch on my birthday (11/12) before heading home. Got my free birthday drink! The line was long when I walked through the door but moved pretty quickly. Everyone here was very nice and wished me happy birthday. I didn't know how they knew until I got my drink, the barista had written happy birthday on my cup! :) I like this location. The drive thru is always pretty quick too!

100% not okay to lock your door at 9:58. You are on I-94. We are not only counting on you for coffee, but also for a bathroom. Customer service clearly not a priority. I'm sure the coffee would have been great, though. Always is!

I can't believe Jackson has a Starbucks. I stopped by early on a Friday morning. Everyone in there knew each other. The service was friendly and fast.

This location is EXTREMELY convenient. Employees are nice, space clean. The drive through line is always packed on weekday mornings, but the hard working employee's move it really fast! I go here about once a month when heading into Jackson to get to Ann Arbor and I don't have time to drive through town to get to Biggby coffee shop. Only complaint is with not w/this location, but corporation overall - Charbucks, pls stop over roasting your beans! Sometimes the acrid smell of over roasted beans actually irritates my eyes. I have noticed this at almost every Starbucks location I have visited.

This location does well with speed, but not so much accuracy. On more than one occasion, I've gotten Splenda instead of Sweet-N--Low, and they were out of cups for the size I ordered. The drive thru is convenient, especially since they are right off the freeway, but I suggest going in to make sure your order is right.
