Our stay at this bed-and-breakfast was like staying at your ideal, Americana, favorite grandparents house. But not musty or outdated. :) Excellent room, clean, nice decor, many amenities and very friendly/ welcoming hosts. Our room was very spacious and sleeps three people comfortably. We had our own half-bath in the room. At first, the room was pretty stuffy because it was in an upstairs bungalow area. But Louie fixed that very quickly and turned on the air conditioning for us. The room was very comfortable after he did that. There were complementary fuzzy robes for use, which were a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable. We also had a complementary service area with a refrigerator, microwave etc. in the hallway. There is a shared shower down in the basement. It's a one person bathroom. We were the only guests there that evening, so it worked out fine. But if all of their rooms were full, I would see where it might be a slight inconvenience to be sharing one shower amongst all the rooms. Louie and Cathy were wonderful. When he arrived, they had complimentary appetizers, sweets and wine. They socialized with us for a while, and gave us some good tips on the area. The homemade breakfast they made us in the morning was excellent! Fresh fruit salad, homemade zucchini spice waffles, homemade muffins, homemade preserves, and sausages from the infamous Kearns sausage company on Main Street in Frankenmuth.
