So I tried it again. Went in on a Friday at 1pm. Got the same thing, two slices and a pop. Wasn't fresh out of the oven, but wasn't cold and bad either. It was like baby bear's porridge, just right. No wait either. The last time I was here, the cashier said I couldn't get faygo with the $4.99 special. This time, she said there was a charge of 11 cents. I'm good with that. Cane sugar faygo. Yum. I think there's still something about their pizza that needs improvement. She asked if I wanted butter on the crust and I said no. But that would have probably improved the crust. It is a little too hard to chew on. The slices are big. maybe too big.

Went in tonight to celebrate a football victory and fsadly found out I ordered from the wrong Detroit Pizza! The guys were really nice and made my newly ordered pizza super fast. When I got it home it was hot, delicious and sadly gone in 15 minutes! Cheers to the staff and product tonight!

We order last night for the first time from The Detroit PIzza Company. I was craving cheese bread and we were excited to try one of their signature pizzas. Placed the order online for a large cheese bread and a taco deep dish pizza. Shortly after we recieved a call stating they could not make the taco pizza because they were out of lettuce. How a restaurant which serves salads, sandwiches topped with lettuce,and 2 different pizzas with lettuce on them runs out of this ingredient is beyond me....anyhow we switched our order to a BBQ chicken pizza. When we got the order home and opened up the boxes I was disappointed right off the bat with the bread. Although it was surely a large it was paper thin, not what I'm looking for in the least from breadsticks/cheese bread. Next was the pizza. At first glance it looked ok, but once I started to serve it up on a plate I noticed that the crust of the actual pizza (the bottom) was paper thin as well. Surely not what I wanted from a deep dish! As I started to eat the pizza I have to say they did put an ample amount of topings on yet I found the tatse of the chicken to be extremely off putting and ended up picking all off it off and basically eating some flimsy crust with bbq sauce on it. (I do have to say my boyfriend thought the chicken was fine and he ate the pizza just the way it was, maybe my palate is just a little more sensitive). The ranch I ordered on the side was good and the thick crust around the pizza (the edges were large and deep dish style, just not the whole pizza) had a good amount of cajun seasoning on it. Needless to say I will not be ordering from The Detroit Pizza Company again.

I ordered pizza by phone and was given a pick up time of 15 minutes. I drove from Plymouth and Wyoming. When I arrived I was the only customer and there was one cold slice of cheese pizza in the display. The young lady took my name gave me a total and took my money. She then looked into the empty oven and asked where my order was. At that point everyone played stupid and they informed me that my order would take 20 minutes. No apology, until I asked. Then the young man stated, "I'm sorry, but it's not my fault. " Needless to say, I left.

One time when I wanted to order the taco pizza the employee informed me that the meat for the pizza went bad and said that I should order another pizza. I called back telling the worker what pizza I wanted and he took 15% off the price of the pizza since they couldn't make the pizza I wanted. Great staff and the wait for the pizza isn't too long. This is definitely one of the places I go to get pizza!

For a pizza by the slice kinda establishment, it's pretty good. I can see this becoming a nice lunch spot. The staff was nice. The only bummer was the advertised 2 slice+ drink combo is only until 3 pm and I didn't see that advertised anywhere.

The pizza is really fresh and the ingredients are also good. I like that the pizza is NY style, which allows you to enjoy more than a deep dish pizza. I also like they offer bottle sodas similar to some of the pizza spots in ny. The only downside is the seating is not enough if you have a large party. I will go back if I'm in the area. And the staff is friendly.

Ehhh I was craving pizza and my Sapinos was already closed so I figured I would give them a try. Not happy I order 3 slices of cheese pizza. Simple..the guy took my order then went and grabbed my slices bare handed after touching money and the register. I said something and he looked at me like I was stupid. "Uhh what would you like me to do?". Oh idk get me new slices and wash your hands! My new slices were burnt and gross. Tisk Tisk

Detroit Pizza Company is a new company, and honestly it's fantastic. After taking over the poorly managed frankly overrated 'good girls crepes' location, it's refreshing to see a pizza company catered to college kids. The pizza here is always fresh made, and decently priced. You can get a pizza larger than a hot-n-ready for the same price. The breadsticks are fantastic and the salads are really decently sized. The sandwiches are pretty good as well, but the 'feeds 3/5 people' advertisement may have been slightly overstated. All in all this is a fantastic place to get a quick slice and I'll definitely be back

Pros: -This place is around the block from my work, which I LOVE. I can walk there and that's always a bonus for me - 4.99 lunch deal for two slices and a pop? Yes. - The slices are HUGE, it's two meals for me. - Friendly staff! Cons: - Their Onecard machine wasn't working right. - They didn't give me any napkins or silverware, which may have been somewhere for me to grab but I didn't see it, so that might be my fault. I'll go again, but I'll make sure to get napkins... Haha

What a convenient location! I am so glad this store opened up in the park Shelton! The staff here is really friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate you. They're also very patient, as my friends and I were pretty indecisive when we went. We ended up with a pepperoni pizza which was just okay, but id like to come back and try their meat lovers pizza. Also... Love the deals they have! Lunchtime: 2 slices of pizza and a soda for $4.99!! They also had coupons on Monday pizza deals (large cheese pizza for $4.99, toppings are an additional $1something), as well as deals for other days of the week. And love that they have squirt soda in these cute glass bottles :) can't wait to come back!
