The chefs or should I say cooks dont know what medium is. I got my burger it was completely rare and the bun soaked up all the blood. It looked like a used pad. Nasty. If they would get that right everything would be great .

Horrific! It took 15 minutes to get noticed and even talked to after we were seated. Mind you, I have 2 young kids so that is twice as horrible for us. Fries came barely lukewarm. Had to constantly ask for refills, before they would just give them. Then halfway through the meal the waiter stopped coming completely. My 6 year old needed a refill on her chocolate milk. I flagged the waiter and he ignored me. I finally after 15 minutes grabbed a busboy to get the manager. 5 minutes later, he showed up along with the waiter. He said he would adjust the bill 8 minutes later, I took the kids to look at the games in the front while my husband waited for the bill. He comped us the kids meals and my daughter never got her milk. The whole experience took over 90 minutes. Those of you with little kids can understand how excruciating this would be. I personally think the whole meal should of been comped. The good was decent but lukewarm.

Red Robin is an ok place to go and get a decent burger at a decent price. This place just always seems so dirty. Stuff under the booths, the carpet looks messy. Had a burger for myself, and a burger for my kid. His burger came out medium, and the French fries were undercooked. The waitress got us a new burger, and we took that to go. I like the place. Jus clean it up a but. Gotta blame it on the management

1st one in the door for the day so it was clean and service was good. Awesome burgers.

Atmosphere was fun for kids. Kids menu was customizable to taste. Fun ends there. The French onion soup is so salty, I wouldn't be surprised if someone bloated up. The Ensenada Chicken is nothing like the picture or description portrays. A drizzle of sauce came as an over abundance of nasty thick seasoning spice, and the chicken was thin, hard, and chewy. Not impressed.

The food is decent enough, it is a chain. The service can be spotty or good depending on the day. Don't let them seat you next to the server's station unless you want to hear them yelling "Runner!" The entire time.

I love this Red Robin location. The waitstaff is always friendly, the food is good and always warm when it arrives. Carry out is a great convenience, too. Always a pleasant experience.

10 dollar hamburgers, sticky seats, cold food....limited menu and broken out of service kids games. This place is terrible.

The food here is fantastic, and always service with a great attitude and a smile! All across the board great! :)

Great food and fun servers like all the Red Robins. If you're starving going in, ask your server if you can start out with french fries if someone in your party is ordering a meal that comes with fries. The bottomless fries is supposed to only be after your meal and only if someone orders something that comes with fries. I've never had anyone charge me for the pre-meal fries, but I suppose they could call it an appetizer and charge you. Staff The hostess wasn't really interested in pleasantries or chatting with my friend and me as she took us to a booth all the way in the back, but we had an awesome server! I requested that my California Chicken Burger come with extra pickles and cut in half and my friend thought I meant that the pickles on my sandwich be cut in half. We had a good laugh when she called me high maintenance and I explained what a meant. When the server brought our dinners, he brought a separate plate with pickles sliced in half! He really went the extra mile and seemed to be having fun at work. Food Red Robin food is not the healthiest on the planet, but they do have some good choices you can make. Any burger can be switched to a veggie, boca or turkey patty for no extra charge. You can also get soup or salad instead of the fries (I think the soup might be an extra charge). I've never had the boca or turkey, but the veggie patty is so good! Makes me feel slightly better about eating all that grease. The fries are delicious. Get them with ranch and if they don't have seasoning, shake a little on... really adds something. If you order a burger, get it cut in half. So much easier to eat. Specific menu items California Chicken Burger: Yum! Chicken, guacamole, mayo, bacon, pickles (I get w/o lettuce and tomatoes). Royal burger: A-freaking-mazing. Not even remotely healthy, but you feel like you're eating breakfast for lunch or dinner. burger patty, fried egg, bacon, mayo, and some other things (let, tom?). BBQ Chicken Wrap: I get it w/o BBQ sauce, but I'll get this when I want something a little lighter. Get ranch on the side if you don't like BBQ sauce because it can be a little dry. Ribs: avoid. Rookie Magic Shake: Oreo shake that comes with an extra tin of more shake Kids' meals Lots of kid-friendly options on a separate kids' menu (chicken fingers, kids' burger, grilled cheese, mac n cheese, quesadillas, pizza, spaghetti). Most kids' entrees come with a side (carrots, oranges, fries, salad, apples, melon) but the sides are small. Free kids' size beverages with kids' meals--small cups but free refills. It's hard for the server to see the amount of beverage left in the opaque kids' cups, so you might need to tell your server when their drink is low. Allergies Very good and attentive to allergies. Tell your server and make sure they tell the manager if it's a serious allergy. I'm allergic to citrus and they have a couple burgers with pineapple so they wiped down the counters and changed their gloves. Price In the same price range as any other casual, family dining experience (Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday's, Friday's). Alcohol is VERY pricey. A typical meal will probably run $12 per adult, $7 per kid.

I've been to several Red Robin's both in Texas and in Michigan, this is my favorite Red Robin location. The wait is usually not long, not even on a Friday night or Saturday night. Their food is always consistently good at this location. Both their artichoke & spinach dip and their salsa is pretty decent. I've tried a couple of different burgers but I just keep coming back to the Whiskey BBQ burger, it's just the perfect burger! Their fries are decent but I really like their sweet potato fries. They have lot's of side dishes, if you want to go all out or sort of watch your diet, you can do either. The only dessert I've tried here was the Chocolate Brownie Cake, it was decent but not near as good as the burger. The one thing I dislike at Red Robin is that they don't have a public wifi that you can use. It seems like a small price that they would have to pay to make the experience even better, especially if you have kids that want to play a game that you need internet for and you get some peace and quiet while they do.

One Red Robin is much the same as the next. My burger was fine. The fries that came with it were ice cold, but I asked for hot ones and they did eventually come out nice and hot. The caterwauling from the nearby tables drowned out any chance of conversation, but this what you should expect at a Red Robin. It was OK, not spectacular and worth repeating.

Red Robin. Dark restaurant. Not a lot of lighting. Its difficult to see your food which might be for the better. It didnt have much flavor. The burger was pretty bland and was supposed to have pepper covered bacon but instead it was one pepper kernel for the 3 undercooked pieces of bacon. The bottomless fries are nice except after eating the onion ring tower i didnt get any refills. The onion rings were probably the best part of the meal. Crispy, good flavor, big pieces of onion. I wouldnt go back on the regular because it didnt blow me away enough to spend that kind of money. Its a little more than $$ per person.

My wife and I have had too many problems with the food at this location, which is a shame because the service is always great. Tonight the soup was way too salty, my burger was lukewarm and dry, and my wife's burger was cold and soggy. They were nice enough to give us another cup of a different kind of soup, but after having a bad chicken wrap here a few months ago, the burgers burned me out. Next time we're going to the one in Novi, only about 15 minutes away.

I mystery shopped this location from 6:30pm - 8:15pm on Tuesday 02/15/11. There was only 2 customers at the bar and the restaurant was about 20% Full. PARKING LOT: When I arrived there was 8 inches of snow on the ground, The Parking Lot and Walk ways were clean of any debris including snow and ice. SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY: As I entered the restaurant, Rhiannon the Door Host smiled and welcomed me to Red Robin and she seated me at the bar. I was then welcomed to Red Robin by the manager "Sara", She gave me my menu. Kara the Bartender, Smiled and welcomed me to Red Robin and asked me what I would like to drink and I ordered a Coke. The Coke was served immediately ice cold just the way I like it. I ordered the Banzai Burger well-done with onion sticks on the sandwich with Terriki Sauce & Pineapple on the side. The food was served in 10 minutes and it was served juicy and the fries were semi-warm. I asked Kara to send it back, She appoligized and ordered me a new Fries. As I was waiting for my fries, Kara made sure my coke was always refilled. When I received my meal the 2nd time around 5 minutes later, The fries crispy and hot. Sara the manager came by to make sure the meal was satisfactory and it was. When it was time to pay my bill, I gave Kara my Red Robin Birthday Coupon it was good for a Free Gourmet Burger and Unlimited French Fries. Kara wished me a Happy Birthday and asked me if I would like a Free dessert that goes with the meal, So I took her up on the offer. The Sundae was 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in a cup with hot fudge, whip creme and sprinkles. It was very delicious. My total bill came out to $2.39. Customers in the restaurant seemed happy with their restaurant service as well. CLEANINESS: The front doors and windows were clean, The Floor, Tables were clean. No light bulbs burned out. The Mens Restroom: Floor, Toliets, sinks, walls, ceiling were clean. Garbage can clean and emptied. No Odor. Bar Area: Floor, Bar table, seats were clean. The full bar was clean and fully stocked with alcohol. Cooler doors windows were spotless. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This location does not have WIFI, Restaurant is 100% Smoke-Free. Restaurant is 100% Handicapped accessible including parking spaces, bathrooms and seating areas. Kid Friendly with a few video games for $0.50 each. Hours: Monday thru Thursday: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm, Friday & Saturday: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm, Sundays: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm. Red Robin is starting a card program similar to Panera Bread where you get a Free appetizer for signing up and then a free gourmet burger and unlimited fries on your birthday and $20.00 off your 6th visit (Not available in Michigan at this time as of today per website). RATING: Normally I would give a restaurant who didn't cook my meal properly a 4 stars with the same service quality. However the staff corrected the problem and the staff went out of their way to make sure my service was of great quality. So I gave them 5 of 5 stars.

I've never dined in at this Red Robin location. It's across the street from Target, in Commerce MI. My wife wanted to take me out for a Birthday Lunch as I received a special Free Burger coupon from RR for my special day. I normally don't like going to Red Robin on weekends as its always crowded. But we arrived at this location about 1230pm and although the parking lot was full it was only about half capacity. We were seated promptly without wait at a table as we requested. our server Alex, a 20 something was ultra happy nice and smiling. He was friendly and when he learned it was my Birthday he expressed genuine excitement and interest. I showed him the coupon and he asked if I was too old to have the RR Team give me a free dessert & sing to me after we were done. I sheepishly smiled and said I was looking forward to it. We placed our Appetizer, Drink and Food order and off he went. Within literally less than One minute we had our drinks. I ordered a special Raspberry Limeade but after 2 sips I knew it was about 9000 times sweeter than I could handle (I gave up drinking Soda Pop in Jan so my taste buds are ultra sensitive to HFCS ever since). Alex came back around and I told him about the drink and he said no problem I can get you something else. I ordered a regular Ice Tea instead. A minute later I had my 1st Ice Tea. Alex came back with extra napkins... thats a BIG plus to me. Because normally when I eat out I have to ask for extra napkins. I've never understood why so many restaurants think things like Napkins and Condiments will make or break their budgets. A minor mishap caused our Appetizer to be forgotten and Alex came out to apologize. He said we would get it with our Entrees and wanted to let us know and make sure it was ok. We were both ok with it as we were chatting about the days events and did not notice the time. Alex saw my cup empty and brought me another Ice Tea. Another Big Plus - no need to ask for refill. Meanwhile my wife kept nursing her 1st fill up of Root Beer. Alright... Finally the food.... Ok here's the nitty gritty ... Atmosphere - it was above average loudness for Lunch out but not too over the top so I could still talk and listen to my wife. Food - So RR boasts endless or bottomless steak fries. They don't give you a ton but enough to start off with. They are thick cut and seasoned with some sort of basic spice. I tend to prefer smaller cut & crispier fries but these were just fine. perfect for dipping into RR's signature Whiskey River BBQ sauce. My wife's burger was slightly pinker than she wanted in the middle but it wasn't bad. She likes well done where as I prefer medium well. She ordered the classic RR Whiskey River BBQ Burger. *RR gets another plus for having really decent sized Burgers. for my wife she has to cut it into Quarters just to be able to bite into it. I have a bigger mouth and slam the burger in and chump down. My burger was perfectly cooked medium well as I asked... I ordered the Banzai Burger which I've never had before... It has Grilled Pineapple, Tomato, Lettuce, Fried Onions, Cheddar Cheese and a Teriyaki sauce/glaze on the Burger patty. I've never thought about eating a Burger with grilled pineapple it was different and was surprisingly really tasty. The Best part I have to say was the Teriyaki sauce. It made the whole thing taste Sweet and Savory. I can definitely see myself getting the Banzai Burger again. Alex buzzed by again an brought me my 3rd Ice Tea. Man that kid is FAST. Another server finally brought our Appetizer - we ordered the Onion Ring tower. It was funny as all it is, is practically a dozen Onion rings on a metal rack. They gave us some sort of strange remoulade sauce which I was not interested in. I divvied up the Onion rings and ate them with our meal. I cut mine up and dipped em in BBQ sauce and they were gooood. I was actually happy that we didn't get the Appetizer till middle of the dinner as I was about empty on the alleged Bottomless fries. BUT then Alex zipped back with a basket of fries! the kid was on the ball! I couldn't hold another Ice Tea and had to tell Alex no more Tea for me. lol. But he came back to ask if we were ready for the Special Birthday treat. I said bring it on. Moments later Alex and 5 other RR Servers were clapping and shouting - This is our new friend Luke and today is his Birthday, please join in as we wish him a special birthday... then they did the short simple clap/sing/shout serenade and presented me with a massive Chocolate covered Vanilla Ice Cream Sundae with whip cream, sprinkles & cherry and two spoons. I was so caught up in the moment I did not have the heart to say to them that I am allergic Dairy. Lol. My wife did the best she could with eating some of the sundae. Alex came back with to go boxes and asked if we wanted the sundae wrapped up too. I said yeah cuz after 3 Ice Teas, a Burger, Onion Rings, and 2 baskets of Fries I was stuffed! LOL It worked out after all.

Food is good I ordered the Red Robin Burger. Staff were very friendly, they welcomed us (a group of 6) including children. The price was 70 for all including a small appetizer, no desserts.

Not good. I got the tasteless, messy shroom burger and my wife got the equally tasteless and messy Boca Whiskey River burger. Hers at least had good toppings and sauce though. The service was poor and I sat without a refill for the second half of my meal. The place was full of 400lb women and screaming kids too. Really disappointing because we just wanted a relaxed lunch with good burgers. This obviously isn't the place for either of those things.

I love Red Robin! This particular location has kept us coming back for more. They have great, prompt service, Red Robin has decent prices, and the burgers are terrific. I have only ever gotten the Blue Ribbon burger because its so good. I want to try more, but just the thought of that burger is making me hungry.

(My comments about hydrogenated oil in the food here is towards the end.) Anyway, so i get my burger, which smells like an armpit (I'm not being dramatic, I was a little concerned at first), is wet and greasy, there is literally grease finger prints on my plate and are easy to spot since i asked them to "hold fries"... I cant believe this was our alternative to Red Coat Tavern. But the nice things i can say is that waitstaff was good, professional, attentive, etc UPDATE [My comments about the oil products RR uses]: Here's the FDA url: fda.gov/food/ingredients… Here's what the FDA says: "What is Trans Fat? " Vegetable shortenings, some margarine's, crackers, cookies, snack foods, and other foods made with or fried in partially hydrogenated oils. More research: blog.fooducate.com/2010/… So what RR is saying is that they leverage a product that keeps getting processed until it's fully saturated fatty acid. This doesn't make it much better, but wanted to inform others

So its a red Robin. Geared at a younger crowd, teenagers on a date or a young family with small kids. Its a busy place - lots of flashing lights and noise. The advantage is the food is usually fast and they have a couple of specific sandwiches which they do well, they have had enough practice, but I get the feeling I don't belong. So the good - Obviously they specialize in Burgers. But if you don;'t eat beef, yes their are some of us, the california Chicken burger i s good option. A chicken breast, with bacon and guacamole. Its tough to mess this one up. Service is fast, as they want you to move along, so you can get in and out in under an hour, typically under 45 minutes - even when its busy. So the bad - the kids and noise - there's a lot of both. I get it, the parents have given up with their 5-9 years - let them run - play up at the front at the small arcade or just hang out. The kids also get you sticky stuff - on the tables and floor - what out for rouge crayons under foot - I found 2 yellow, 1 red and 1 green. Lunch is better - only non-school aged kids. The servers are young, the better ones have move up to Applebees across the street. So know what you are getting going here - the fries are hit and miss.

This Red Robin is just always off the mark. I've been here three times and each visit - whether busy or slow - the food and service is lacking. It is a great location when I'm out running errands to grab a quick bite but I'm always disappointed. If you can avoid - you should.

My husband and I went in for lunch, we were excited for happy hour because they had $4 margaritas, but we were not impressed so we had beer instead. It came out ice cold, but we were a little bummed the only working tap was bud light. The burgers were amazing! Fries are endless and who doesn't love to stuff their face with fries!? We got the Bonsi burger and the smoke and pepper burger cut them in half and split them. Hands down the best burgers we've ever had! All around we had a great time! But please fix your margaritas and beer taps!

The food is heavy and greasy (by design) and there's lots of kids. Now that I got it out of the way, the burgers and wraps are tasty, the waiters are mostly good, the fries are great. A good place to bring kids for lunch when mom is working.

Came here to redeem my birthday burger which was a mistake. First all start with our server who was friendly and very apologetic about messed up order. I have never had such a dissatisfying experience here before until this day. Everything went fine during ordering. Our food came out super fast but then again the place was empty for a Saturday evening and i know why. First my sister burger was wrong it had no guacamole even tho she ordered the guac burger. This was no big deal because our server immediately brought out the spread for her burger. Next was my burger which was the mushroom burger that i added bacon to and switched out swiss for american. Now I very well understand that when customized your order problems are more likely to occur but the fact they didn't give me one of the things I requested tells me they just made the burger with out even looking at the ticket. First i noticed it was no bacon and of course my serve speedily gave me bacon. But upon my first I realized it was swiss cheese instead of American. I wish i would have noticed it when i saw there was no bacon but my burger was covered in mushrooms so there was no way to tell. She offered to make me an new burger but at this point i was just ready to go home and didn't really wanna go through another mess up. I love red robins but i wont be back to this location for awhile if i come back at all.

Usually this place is hit or miss, but yesterday our experience was certainly a miss. I ask for the Royal Red Robin (I know my risks with this one) but even the egg whites were still not cooked through. I mentioned to the server that it was a little raw, but she said, that's how they cook 'em. Blah, rather than waiting for a refire, I just took the egg off and ate without. Hopefully next time we have a better experience. Cheers!

We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 burgers, and a kid's meal. App came prepared incorrectly. Sent back to kitchen; they sent back the same appetizer with sour cream and a chip on top. Spoke with Mgr. Paul. He seemed unsympathetic and unapologetic. The other appetizer was never ordered. Food came out cold. It took an additional 15-20 for hot food to arrive. Mgr Paul comp burger that was still prepared incorrectly. I had to repeatedly ask for mayo and ranch. It took so long for food to arrive, I was unable to finish meal with 2 kids after their bed time. We had to look for our server several times. Then received bill over charged for soda. Server was clueless why this was an oversight; when I ordered water. Several other tables experienced the same problems we were having at our table and kids were refilling their own drinks because lack of service. Tonight was beyond awful. We'll be placing Red Robin on the "No Fly" List. #RedRobinSucks

I tried Ted Robin in Roseville . Burger was burn't. Margarita was so strong, I was drunk. I only had one. , we had heard so many compliments we thought we should give them another chance. There was a family of 4 at one table, we were tne only others in the restaurant. It was not clean, the ladies rom toilet wouldn't stop running I would have fixed it, I was told it always does that. The food really had no flavor the waitress did try to bend over backwards to do a good job. I couldn't believe they got our order wrong,

Our kids love this place. You know your going to get a tasty burger. Its a good family place to eat. The bottomless Fry's make you want to keep coming back. The staff is nice. This is worth a visit. Its also Gluten Free. They have gluten free buns and frys.

My youngest daughter loves Red Robin. It's a kid-friendly place, where they get you in and to a seat pretty quickly. The service is hit and miss, but it tends to be decent at this location. I know it's a place known for their burgers, but I've never been thrilled with them. They're just so-so. Their fajitas (yeah, they have them) are amazing, though. In fact, any time I've ordered something other than a burger, I've enjoyed myself much more. If you go here, that's what I'd recommend you do. That has taken me from a mild dislike of this chain to thinking of it as a steady favorite when the kiddos want to hang out with dad.

I've noticed a difference between this Red Robin and other locations. This one does a much better job than others. Not to be a burger snob, but the Blue Ribbon burger is messy and needs to be all snug in the wrapper! They do a knock out job every time! And are always super fast with the refills! Watch out though, sometimes the magician may have nothing better to do but come over and tell lame jokes!
