I know Yelp tends to be strongly against nationwide chains, but I'd guess most people who rate this place poorly planned to rate it poorly no matter what. I got the Dallas Filet 8oz (rather than the 6oz), which comes with two sides -- I chose mashed potatoes loaded with gravy and chili with a side of onions, since I'm all super health conscious but not really. I asked for it medium rare, but it was done medium. I'm not a picky snob when it comes to how my meat is cooked, so I ate it, and was happy with it. So long as a steak isn't dry or tough, why complain? The mashed potatoes were fine, nothing special. I liked that there were some skins in there. The chili was pretty good, but a little on the salty side. Good steak at a fair price... that can be difficult to find. No, they don't have the best steaks in the world, but not everything you eat is going to be "to die for." ... God, I can't even use that phrase sarcastically without wanting to vomit.

I ordered a 16 oz. medium rare Ribeye and what I got would be best described as an over cooked skinny peice of shoe leather about the thickness of a small pork chop. Things happen and I get that but this particular peice of meat should never have made it to a customer it was that obvious.

I don't see how anyone could hate this place! The food is soooooo....buttery...greasy good!! I've only been here twice. The first time, the manager came and set with us and gave us a bag of peanuts :-) The second time we went the waitress was so nice and the food was so awesome that it made me forget about the 2 hour wait on Valentine's Day. P.S. I could drink a bottle of their signature steak sauce!!

Sat at the bar...big mistake! The bartenders where rude and pitched a fit because my wife sent her steak back because it was overcooked. They were talking with each other and doing that giggling thing while looking at us. We talked to the manager about what happened. One bartender then proceeded to stomp through the restaurant to find the manager to find out what we said. I would have thought I was back in high school if it wasn't 2015.

I still don't understand why this place scores so high. They have got to be the worst ribs I ever had. And it was a carry out that I got from a coupon that they gave me. After they made my wife's and my dinner a mess. They showed us what a medium steak would look like. My wife ordered medium and it was just this side of raw. And my 4 rib side was cold like it was microwaved. By the time my wife got her meal back and we got hot ribs. My dinner was half gone and cold. We had the same issue like a carbon copy at both Sterling hgts and Fort Gratiot. So I got carry out ribs with my coupon . Bad Brads down the road would put this in the garbage. . Ribs where the same ,microwaved and just salted to keep them stored longer. Steak fries where frozen reheat and hard as a rock. I'll go without free peanuts and hot rolls. Pay attention to the food.... So disappointed Sterling hgts. ,Fort Gratiot and 23 mile. 3 strikes and your out...

So Texas roadhouse recently opened up in Corona, and I just happened to be in Michigan this week and saw this place. We came late and night for dinner and ordered the half chicken and bbq ribs combo. The BBQ was good, comparable to Lucilles and other bbq joints and the portions were generous for the price point. Our waitress was excellent and was always on top of our drink refills. We ended up being the last ones out of the restaurant and the staff didn't seem to mind. Probably one of the better eats in the area as Mile 23 seems to be where most of the major stores and restaurants are located. Also like the apple butter that came with the fresh rolls.

I normally love eating at this place but I suffered from the worst food poisoning tonight. I had the chicken Caesar salad. I took the rest home and I told my family what I had eaten and I showed them. The chicken was a little pink and looked undercooked. I never saw this when I was eating it. Very disappointed. Ruined my favorite meal from this place:/ wish I felt better right now.

I have been here numerous times and it has always been great. The steak is always cooked perfectly to order and the rolls with cinnamon butter are worth coming by themselves! Service has always been friendly and fast even when they are busy. I've been bummed a couple times because we have had to go to other restaurants just because they were so busy there wasn't anywhere to park(which is good for them). This place is a cut above the rest (at least when your talking other chain steakhouses). I would seriously have dinner here every week if my wallet allowed me to!

Have been here numerous times since we live close by. Good steaks, good apps. Sometimes my steak isn't prepared exactly how I like it, but it still tastes good. Overall, we will be back.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch late. Texas Roadhouse opens at 11:30am on Saturday and Sundays. We got there around 1230. Several hostess were around but took several minutes for us to get seated. Seemed like nobody knew who was in charge of seating patrons. I ordered grilled salmon with fresh vegetables and sweet potato, while my boyfriend had medium rare ribeye with house salad and sweet potato. My meal was very dry. Salmon was very chewy and over seasoned but I just asked for a side of butter and that fixed the issue. The fish sauce that comes on the side was extremely salty- beware! Veggies were broccoli and carrots. Slightly undercooked and overdone at the same time. Sweet potato was also dry and hard but I put cinnamon butter on and tasted much better. My boyfriends ribeye was cooked rare and was beyond raw. Looked like raw tuna. The waitress was kind enough to have the cooks remake it. Much better the second time around. Sign up for emails to free appetizer coupons. I wish they would expand their entrees menu but I understand that's a cooperate thing. I love that there are easily over 10 sides to choose from- just makes it hard to decide on just two! Best fresh rolls in the area!

Had the smothered chicken and steak fries, the salad was very good, but the 1/2 of a handful of fries was the second time in a row getting the tiny amount. The chicken was very small and they used to be huge, was disappointed been going there for 20 yrs and the rib's were a day old last visit so the smothered chicken was no better in size but taste was fine. Very nice staff and great Managers, Josh is a good man. Have a great day everyone.

There are too many Generic Steak houses around, and they all seem to be the same. This Texas Roadhouse just happens to be an exception. I enjoy the spaciousness of the dining room, the quality of the cleanliness, and the accuracy of the food. My Prime Rib was just perfect, and the Horseradish spread was done perfectly. Service is excellent, smiling, polite and on the ball. Recommend this place all day long. Final thought, you have to get the onion app. it is the best.

There were 5 of us that stopped the other day. We had just attended a military ceremony at Selfridge ANG Base and wanted to grab a light meal. Also, the North Gratiot Summer Cruise was underway that day, so we wanted somewhere that had open parking. Complimentary peanuts awaited in the outer vestibule, as well as on each table. Each of us ordered something off the menu (one even ordered a hot dog - at a steak house!). A couple baskets of dinner rolls were brought out and devoured accordingly. The food arrived in good time. The meals were all fantastic and to our liking. Our server was patient with us, bringing refills when needed and generally doing a fantastic job while our group of veterans talked about old times. Military discount under the LocalHeroes program is offered here. When you see the bill, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I'm new to the area and have tried several different restaurants, all of which need to step up their game and improve on their customer service. This place has always accomodated my family and friends on busy weekends as well as on slow afternoons. Usually we have a group of at least six people, so it's not easy to find a place that can handle us all. Every single time, (around 6 times within the last 3 months), we've been there the service has been great. We don't have to wait on our drink order and our food doesn't take forever. The waitresses have great attitudes, are professional and even a new waitress did very well with our order on her first night. This is a great place to bring someone from out of town and for kids of all ages. Management is doing a great job. Thank you for being consistently good!

The ribs were sent out burnt, they were actually crispy. Very disappointed, I don't send food back. My dog enjoyed the ribs. The salad was awesome.

This place is ok as long as you don't do carry out. When I call I always get put on hold for at least five min before I even get to place an order. I have never ever had issues with a steak I have gotten here dining in however I swear they use carry out as a way to get rid of bad steaks...

We go there often. They have great food and great waitstaff. My only complaint is the wait time. You can do call ahead seating on busy nights, Fri/Sat to avoid waiting over an hour. It doesn't seem to be as busy in the summer, but any other time be prepared to wait. I do think it is worth the wait!

My first 5 star review although I'm sure some would disagree with me. I'm giving this place a 5 star because every time I have been there, we've not been disappointed. Service has always been pretty decent, not the best, but the food usually makes up for it. My girlfriend and I usually go early to get the better deals. I get the steak with the 2 sides, which they usually cook to my liking. My girlfriend usually orders they're chicken salad which she absolutely loves. I love the peanuts in the table so we don't sit there with our stomachs growling while waiting for our food. They're dinner rolls are the very best. Warm, fluffy and tasty. The atmosphere is fairly pleasant and the waitstaff usually has smiles on they're faces which make it a more comfortable place to sit and eat.

I've been a valid Roadie for a while, coming here for years. I used to come here multiple times a week (4 times in 7 days, actually!) With that being said, I relatively adore it here! The service is always nice, quick, and friendly. The only drawback is the hostesses usually are clueless (at least the ones lately.) The menu also doesn't include mini-cheeseburgers (only on the kids menu.) I've been getting the same thing since i was a kid (I'm 21 now) and they sometimes tell me I will have to pay extra to get it since I'm no longer a kid. They haven't added it to the adult menu yet so I don't find it justified to charge me extra for the same amount of food.

Best, most reasonably priced salmon dinner in the area. Don't care much for the appetizer onion. Drink prices are average. Staff is pleasant and attentive. Desserts are so so as most chain restaurants are. Always come back for the salmon.

We had no idea what to expect when we walked into the Roadhouse and were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great...good music. We were seated immediately and our drinks were delivered quickly. We LOVED the bread with the cinnamon sugar butter. The roasted peanuts on the table were also really good. We ordered a burger and fries and also a steak with fries. The burger was ok.. the fries were very yummy. The steak was also just ok... would probably have been better it I would have ordered it as rare instead of medium. Would go back and try something else.

Never a disappointing meal here! Make sure you ask for fresh out of the oven bread and extra butter...believe me you will need it because it's that good! Order chicken critters with honey mustard and sirloin k-bobs mid rare! Also, they have a bomb lowfat italian dressing

I'll admit, I like the food. Sometimes it's a bit too greasy and they go overboard with it, but I'm not sure where they came up with the idea that young, skimpy girls is the best way to have a waitress. I've never had a good waitress going here. They always seem to mess up and they are never really friendly. I think having a mixed set of staff would be better than just having a bunch of ditzy young girls who really don't know what they are doing.

This particular Texas Roadhouse always seems to be fairly busy. I'm not sure if that's because of their hours (only open after 4 p.m. on weekdays), or maybe because they're located right next to a big multiplex movie theater? So, I had dinner with my dad. I had the Dallas Filet, while he ordered the Prime Rib. My dad loves Prime Rib. If he ever sees it listed on ANY menu, he pretty much HAS to order it. That's just the way it is. Well, he loved it. He thought it was nice and tender and also quite lean for a Prime Rib (considering Prime Rib usually has a fair amount of fat in it). My filet was also quite tender. It didn't have much flavor to it, but was good (I realize this wasn't an "Outback Steakhouse" where they really spice up your meat). So why only three stars if the steak was so good? It's because the "sides" were just so "average", if not on the poor side of things. You usually get to choose 2 sides to go with your steak. I chose a cup of chili and the baked beans. Well, the chili tasted like someone had gone a little crazy with the Chili Powder (the overwhelming flavor). They say on the menu that their sides are made from scratch. Well, if that's true, I suppose that some days the chili could be good, and others not so much, all depending on who made it. As for the baked beans, they were just "blah". Nothing special at all in the flavor. I guess I was hoping for something with some "Kick" to it... ya know? Then, we also had ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer. Pretty sad... they were just sliced SO THIN, that all you tasted was the fried batter, with just about NO pickle taste at all. That could probably be fixed if they just made the slices a bit thicker... C'mon. Yes, they do have very good rolls (that come with a honey, cinnamon butter, which is also very good). But, their rolls don't even come close to the goodness of those special "yeast rolls" that they serve at "Logan's Roadhouse"! Believe me, if you've ever tried Logan's rolls... you know what I'm talkin' 'bout here. And that's what is kind of interesting here. Texas Roadhouse and Logan's Roadhouse are virtually the same restaurant. Their menu's are very similar, they both have various cuts of steak (as their main menu item), and they both have in-the-shell peanuts in a bucket for you at the table (where you are just supposed to throw the shells on the floor... YEE-Haw). Oh yea, speaking of the peanuts... the peanuts at MY table anyway, were actually kind of soft and chewy. It made me wonder just HOW LONG those things had been sitting at the table without being changed. Well... if you're looking for a good steak, you can certainly get one here... and maybe that's why this place does so much business. Now, if they could just work on bringing the sides up to the same level of quality as their steak, this place would be "aces" in my book.
