Outstanding food! Just ordered from Hunan Taste for the first time last night. Great! We ordered the egg rolls, lo mein, chicken with cashews and chicken pad thai. All were delivered hot and delicious! This is our new favorite restaurant!

Only reason why I'm giving them two stars is because i have ordered from them 4 times 3 out of the 4 they have given me the wrong order.. Instead of correcting their mistake they try to give me the run around DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE clearly they don't know whats on their own menu and don't care about customer satisfaction.

The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood. It's tucked away and next to the community pool and Suntrust Bank. We ordered the fries and chicken wings. The fries were nice and crispy- but the chicken wings were flavored with a mustard sauce that wasn't quite good. We also ordered the chicken fried rice which was pretty good and we'd order it again. The hot and sour soup needed to be more spicy- maybe we have to request that next time? The location is clean- there's a sitting area if you're waiting to pick up. But if you want to eat in- there's a small bar and stools, however they keep the door open so it is a little warm. The owners are very friendly. We'd come here again, for friendly service and it's convenient location!

I've been getting take out here since before I can remember, at least ten years. By far the the best take-out place in the area, I've turned so many people on to Hunan Taste, I love it! My go-tos: Chicken and String Beans, Lomein, Eggplant in Garlic Sause, and General Tso's Tofu.

Do not order or eat at this place. The food tastes like rubber! The sesame beef was horrible!

I love lemon chicken. This was the worst lemon chicken I've had. The fried rice was also tasteless. My boyfriend said his dishes were better, but mine were pretty tasteless.

I have been hitting up this place recently for Chinese take out and the food had been great. General Tsos chicken is always my guilty pleasure. Had the chicken curry and chicken wings too which were tasty. Plus brownie points for being able to get my boba fix here too!

I have really liked every dish I've ever tried from Hunan Taste, and I've been patronizing this restaurant for many years. They will make "crispy beef" although it's not on their menu. Many places serve a tough, hard to chew crispy beef, but I've always found theirs to be fabulous. They are really great about toning down or up the spicy factor, too. Their food is delicious. The people who work at Hunan Taste are always friendly and helpful. I've used their delivery service, as well as their carryout. I highly recommend Hunan Taste. Since other stores have closed in the shopping center, we're hoping that they do not relocate further away from us. Enjoy!

The portions are good, but I found the food here to taste very flat and dull. You can get "authentic" food here, but there is a high proportion of sweet and sour/citrus/mongolian beef stuff on the menu. Much of the authentic stuff they tout highly is disappointing. I recall ordering an expensive fish dish in which the fish was overcooked and had an "old" texture.

this place is decent. i know it advertises "authentic chinese food" but i still get the "american chinese food" vibe from here. dont get me wrong, they do have a few authentic dishes in their menu but just overall doesnt give off a traditional chinese restaurant vibe. its a small takeout place, with a few seats for waiting. prices are regular for a takeout place. recommendations: *******curry chicken wings hot and sour soup pork with dried bean curd

Looking for a good Chinese takeout? Hunan Taste is my go-to-place. I guess being walking distance from the place adds a little bias but the food is great! My all time favorite here - General Tso's chicken. It is one of the best General Tso's I've tasted. I am a huge fan of chow foon noodles but theirs isn't that great. That is the one downfall. Otherwise, other main dishes are pretty great. They even have some authentic tofu and fish dishes that I LOVE. I've tried their Peking duck once too which was fine for the price. Low prices, large portions, and they throw in dumplings or egg rolls here and there if you order a good amount or go there as often as we do.

We highly recommend the Hunan Taste restaurant. The food that we have had there is delicious. We particularly have enjoyed the lemon chicken, crispy beef, beef with broccoli, and shrimp with lobster sauce, and it has been prepared in a prompt manner. One can eat there in an informal setting, or have the food packaged for carry-out. It is an easy venue to get to, with plenty of parking available. The owners are really nice people and put extra care into serving their customers.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
