Two stars only! I would give one but I'm being nice. The food is ok but the atmosphere is horrible. The tables are dirty and don't match, the curtains are hanging from the window by cardboard and they have 2 old funky abandoned couches sitting by the wall that I think they sleep on at night. When I went in to eat it was empty. They have a little Mexican girl who greets you as you come in. Now my problem with this is that the little girl is smack dead in your face while you're eating. I don't want some random child talking my ear off while trying to enjoy my food. I would suggest getting your food to go. For some people it's a quick go to spot. It's ok minus the kids!

This is the only Chinese restaurant in the area that doesn't give me massive colon blow. Pretty good quality food. I had the Sesame Chicken combo that came with a pork egg roll and pork fried rice and it was yummy, not too greasy. I had a bite of the Szechuan Pork and it was okay - prepared well but not something I would order. Also had the Chinese Donuts - love them! I deducted a star because the online ordering system cautioned that it would take 50 minutes to get my order. I didn't think it would *really* take that long so I went ahead with my order. It took an hour and 10 minutes.

Best Chinese in the Parkville area. Large portions, fair prices, and everything is consistently good. Try the chicken dumplings!

China Wok has some of the best Chinese food in the Parkville area. Unfortunately, the owners seem rather cheap. They do not run the heat in the winter, so it's always freezing when you walk in (so order food ahead of time). The cooks were wearing big winter coats in the back while cooking food. The "dining area" is horrible. There are two dirty/ old looking couches against their wall, old tables and ratty chairs, boxes and sodas on the floor...The list could go on. I guess they figure they can keep their dining area looking rough because nobody in their right mind would eat in that icebox they call a restaurant.

This is one of the best chinese food places on this side (North Baltimore County) of town. Hands-down!!!! The cervice is great. They cater to your every need. I personally love the combination platters. You get a hefty load of food. The platters consist of a entree choice (orange chicken, pepper steak, ect.), a side of white rice, brown rice, or fried rice, and an egg roll (shrimp or pork). You can also ask for lo mein instead of rice. I like my seseame chicken fried hard with extra seseame seeds and spicy. When I say they cater to your needs, I mean it. They also have bubble tea like in the malls. You have got to try the coconut milk jelly drink. AWESOME!

My sister and I got a takeout dinner from here. She told me that their egg foo young was good, and I do agree with her after having tried it. Their chow mein was pretty good too. And from the sign posted outside the door of the restaurant, they do not contain any MSG in them, so for someone who is into food that is healthy even just a little bit, that is a plus for me. In addition, the price is also pretty cheap.

I have never been to the restaurant, but I have ordered delivery from here numerous times over the last two and a half years at my apartment in Parkville. I am moving out this weekend and have no food left in my apartment and decided to order from China Wok one last time. I ordered chicken and string beans, beef szechuan and sweet & sour chicken (I wasn't the only one eating!). They were all combos so they each came with pork fried rice and egg rolls. The price is great, I paid about $21 before tip and they load as much food as possible into their take out containers. And they aren't the little white boxes either. These containers are like tupperware and make it easier to reheat leftovers, which I almost always have. Also, you can wash and reuse them a couple of times before eventually throwing them out. I will be living too far away from this place to order delivery after this weekend. I will miss their delicious chicken and string beans and their pork fried rice. :'(

Quick delivery and the person on the phone was easy to understand. The food....kinda bla. Veggies over cooked chicken a little mysterious but the fried rice was good. Don't think I'll order from here again. 1st and only time

The food was quite good! Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. Veggies were cooked perfectly, and most places tend to over cook them. Food arrived quickly- about 25 minutes after ordering- and the delivery driver was very nice. I asked for vegetable fried rice instead of pork fried rice in the online ordering system, but I still received the pork rice. No big deal, just something they overlooked.

Went in tonight to order food and I ordered from the Diet portion of the menu and I picked Scallops, Shrimp, and Chicken (the most expensive diet option at $11.95) Everything came out pretty fast with the other items we ordered. Once we got home and I opened my box there was no shrimp. So for $11.95 I got chicken and scallops with veggies and no rice. When I called to tell them that my meal didn't have shrimp in it, It was made to seem like I was lying about and the person seemed very annoyed. Not to mention the other items ordered were cold. So I realized it's not even worth trying to get the shrimp and just told him I won't ever be returning.

This place serves the healthiest Chinese food I have ever eaten and I've eaten it a lot. One of the best in the Parkville, Towson, White Marsh area. Their fried rice and entree options are loaded with veggies. The owners (Grace and her family) are very nice people. They have AWESOME bubble tea and slushes too.

Some things to think about: 1. There was a woman handling food and also handling money. She was diving her hands into the raw shrimp, wiping her hands on her dirty ravens jacket and handling money. 2 The place is not at all presentable. It looked dirty, moldy... pretty much filthy. 3. They have a lot things pre-made and in an icebox. Who knows how old it is.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
