Met a group of co-workers and spouses here for a few drinks and dinner. One co-worker calls this place a great red-neck bar. Said he can't stand the sissified bars where drinks are real expensive. Anyway, while the decor leaves A LOT to be desired, the food wasn't bad. Prices were reasonable and service was good. We had several servers checking in on occasion and they kept our glasses filled and made sure we were ok. We had a steamed shrimp appetizer which was good. I had a crab cake and truthfully, I wasn't expecting much. But, it was good, with not much filler and it had a good flavor. It's sure plenty heavy on the fried selections, but my crab cake was broiled. Husband got a prime rib sandwich which he said was excellent and the fires were coated and spicy and since I tasted them, I can attest to their goodness. Another diner raved about the steak salad, served with fries (like they do in Pittsburgh). Everything, all in all, was good. Don't go here though if you expect fancy, cause it ain't.

I first started coming here for lunch when I worked at the Hagerstown airport in 1999. It was my first introduction to a Buffalo chicken salad, and I've never had a better one since. The chicken is grilled just crispy enough, the buffalo sauce is spicy, but not too overpowering... the lettuce is crisp and the additional vegetables are abundant. Going as often as I did, I'm pretty sure I tried many other things on the menu. None of them stand out as remarkable like the salad, but I always enjoyed my meals and the hospitality.

Must of caught it on an off evening. The food was not as good as a few years ago when coming thru on rt 11. Friendly, quick, & inexpensive. The dinner entrees left us feeling so so. I hear the sports bar is good for beer and wings. The dining room food is hit or miss. Looked microwaved, food was greasy. Cheap eats if that is your ticket. Nice people & fun for a drink while cheering your team. But the dinner food is up and down. Not my pick for a meal. A good social hour place for friends wanting a quick drink after work.

I have been coming to this place for at least ten years, probably the second best hot wings in town. So not go for service or the food, except the wings, but go for the party feel and ice cd beer. Dave does a food job running this place. Oh, be careful, the local cops (state troopers) like this place too.....

Agree with the other reviews about ambiance, food and cost. We go for the crab cakes which are very good and with little to no filler. Each time with several menu selections the food was great and service is good The bar area is nice, great place to hang with some locals and prices are perfect!
