Needs lots of improvement. Seekh kabob was very bad. Nihari was like a regular salon/curry. Chapli kabob was very small, like a mini-chapli kabob. Chicken biryani was ok, not excellent. Very disappointed. Will not return.

We tried their South Asian food and it was not good. The spice level was very high but the flavor was not strong enough to come through. Portion size was the most disappointing. 2-3 small pieces of meat for 10 bucks. This same price at another local South Asian restaurant would get much more food. No napkins at the table. We were provided spoons only. So although we could use spoons on our entree, no forks provided for the salad. The naan was fresh. And the soda cans are only 99 cents. Given their competition re: South Asian food, stick to chicken and sandwiches here. They both look good at least.

I was vastly impressed with the quality if this restaurant's food when we ordered delivery. The lamb was succulent, the naan bread fresh and the hummus delicious. I am looking forward to eating here from here again.

Came here for lunch and got the sharwma sandwich it got me about 6.50 or so for just the sandwich. Never had sharwma before so I decided to try it when it. I took it back to work when I opened it I realize I basically bought a chalupa, same shape same stuffing except this one has chicken. The only difference is a chalupa is better, more filling and cheaper. I definitely would not come back here. Never mind the fact that when I walked in the place smelled like armpits. The guy was nice and cheery though.

I came to this place to check it out. No one was in the store so I kinda figured, hey they just opened so people just haven't checked the place out yet. So I had chicken tika. I would have to say when I ate the top part of it, it was very good but then when I dug further down it was bloody and uncooked. I didn't eat most of the chicken and I felt like I wasted some money, I just ate the rice and felt unsatisfied. I would skip this place.

I LOVE their fried chicken. It's sooooo PERFECTLY crunchy and juicy and delicious!!!! The owner is so sweet as well! Why are the reviews for this place so meh? Idk about the other menu items, but I definitely recommend the fried chicken! Yummyyumyum. ---- Just tried their biryani and I thought it was far from bland. I am eating the rice pudding right now and I am in love. I recommend the rice pudding if you like desserts flavored with rose water! I'm so glad I got to try it today! Will be my "go-to" dessert from now on! ---- Ps. I spoke with the owner to ask why the reviews were so bad. And it really seems like she is listening to her customers, so give this place another try if you were disappointed the first time!

Place is officially closed, a new Asian restaurant is now in its place. It's a shame because I did try their chicken and it was very good...

Ordered food to go from here tonight. They sent me a menu first and that got me intrigued. The pictures in the menu reminded me of doner when I had it in Germany. Prices seem to be fair even though their credit card limit was high - over 15 dollars. Just made it over the threshold with an order of one doner kabob sandwich, one shawarma sandwich, and 5 pieces of fried chicken. The picture of the shawarma in the menu showed a tightly wrapped sandwich with fresh looking ingredients. The doner sandwich was similar with multiple pieces of thinly sliced lamb over a bed of chicken chunks all layerd between fresh green veggies. Once we got our food and came home, all expectations were flushed down the drain. First, the fried chicken was OK. Actually looked like fried chicken. That will be the best thing to say here. Now, the real surprise were the doner sandwich and the shawarma. Once you opened both, they are basically the same thing with the only difference being ONE, just ONE piece of what looked to be lamb kabob meat in the doner sandwich. The rest was chicken. So basically the shawarma and doner are the same except for that one piece of wonky looking meat. The included vegetables were also brown and looked nothing like the menu. The menu pictures must be some generic stock photos because they looked nothing like what we got as the final product. The shawarma was not nicely wrapped with fresh vegetables. It was just a piece of pita bread folded over what looks like mud and rocks mixed with week old vegetables. I'm wondering if I can call these guys on false advertising. If you're thinking about going to this place please don't! I've never been to a place where the food was so different than what was advertised. It looks like the cook who made it did not care and did not know what he/she was doing. The price may seem tempting but you really get what you pay for, and in this case actually much less! Please refer to the photos for further evidence of the terrible quality. Writing this just makes me so upset about what was served by this place.

My husband and I have been in here three times this week already. The food is awesome and that it's a great deal makes it that much better. Great falafel sandwich for $4.99. Can't beat that. In Germantown where so many of the restaurants are big name chains, I love any small business that cares enough to do what they do well.
