I ordered take out from here using Groupon the other night for dinner. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and Fried Crabmeat Wontons. It was a bit pricey for delivery... they have a minimum dollar amount for delivery and also a delivery fee on top of it. I wasn't feeling getting out my apartment - so that's fine and the convenience was worth it. The time for delivery was only about 30 minutes when I was originally quoted a 45-hour wait. So that was great! I'll give them an extra star for that. The food wasn't too terribly hot, but it was warm enough. The fried wontons were great!! But then again, it's not real hard to mess those up, ha ha! The chicken was a little disappointing... it tasted like KFC fried chicken dipped in a tiny amount of not very spicy sauce. My main issue with all of this was I quickly got food poisoning about 15 minutes after eating. I'll spare you the details - but I was out of work for the entire morning of the following day it was so bad. It sucks my first experience will now be associated with this; however, it's safe to say I will NEVER order here again - let alone be able to eat Chinese from ANYWHERE for awhile.

Not the best food or service I've ever had, not the worst either. I recently ordered delivery and under special instructions I asked them to call my cell phone when they were outside. I have a large territorial dog and I try to avoid people ringing the door bell. Well, they rung the doorbell and I had to take 5 minutes to settle the dog before I could open the door and the delivery guy seemed annoyed. Other delivery places I've used are able to comply.

Found a hair. Not very enthusiastic when I came in for a quick lunch. A tired Chinese place which is resting on its past laurels...mediocre laurels at best to begin with. Go across thr street or further up at local Glory Garden. It is also a tad more expensive than the common takeout place.

This place has always given us poor service they also run out of lamb. They arrived 1 and 1/2 hrs late to deliver the food then was upset when driver didn't get tip. Tried getting ahold of manager. Pease be forewarned.

Lovely atmosphere. Nice staff and the guy who delivers is very pleasant. I find the food tasty and I am quite critical of combination fries rice. Just the right amount of spice as I am obsessed with spicy food. Also the wait period is awesome as it is very short.

I have eaten Chinese food across the country and in Europe, this is the 2nd WORST MEAL I have ever had!!!!! Not even half a star. I gave it 2 chances and the second was worse! I've never shrimp toast with no shrimp. DO NOT eat here!

I tried these guys and at first they were WONDERFUL their service is very good and fast just the food is SO inconsistent! I was wowed by the first dinners I got and was happy. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The 2nd and 3rd time (for lunch) the food was HORRIBLE! The food was ROTTEN! It stank to high heaven and I had to spit out the fried rice! I ordered again after complaining they said it wouldn't happen again. They even gave me a 2nd order of free rice. But I'm sorry to say they need much better quality control, because sadly it did happen again even after I had commented that I had gotten bad food. I called back and complained telling them to please refund my money I don't want to pay for 2 meals (I had to order from yet another Chinese place) I will be VERY hesitant to try these guys again. So I hate giving ONE star but I have to because the food was just not edible. IF they fixed that I would be the FIRST to order from them again, because they are nice folks, and great service.

YES! I concur with Andrew S. There are three things I look for when it comes to Chinese delivery...quality of the food, accuracy of the order and speed of delivery. Orient Garden delivers in all three! The food is actually really, really good for Chinese carryout. I ordered a pork lo mein ($7.50) and it was loaded with thick slices of pork. This is in contrast to places like China King that lately have been sending me bowls full of noodles and veggies with a few token pieces of meat. You actually get your money's worth! I'd rather get the extra protein as opposed to a free can of soda. The spring rolls ($2.50) are tasty and so is the wonton soup ($1.50 small order). The lady that took my order was pleasant and the food was delivered in less than the 45 minutes that was quoted! There's a million Chinese carryout/delivery places but Orient Garden is one of the stand outs!

There are three big things I look for in a Chinese delivery place 1) Taste of the food 2) Accuracy of my order 3) Speed of delivery On #1 Orient Garden is the only local delivery place I've found that has some taste to it. I never expect whiz-bang amazing food from Chinese delivery, but at least with Orient Garden I can tell the difference between sesame chicken and kung pow chicken. For #2 the ordering process is actually pretty great, the woman who takes my order(almost always the same woman) reads back my order every time and I've NEVER had anything be wrong #3? Maybe it is because I tip well, maybe it is because they are just fast but I've never had to wait more than 30 mins for food to make it to my house. Quite often they show up way before I expect them. TLDR: Fast, and decent Chinese delivery.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
