Diabetics at TGI Friday
If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.
Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:
Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

Food Suggestions to Maintain Cholesterol Level at TGI Friday
Honestly its Friendly's, so I don't expect much going in. With that out of the way I can say I have only been to this location for breakfast but for the three or so trips I have made I've been nothing but satisfied. Is it the best food in the world? Nope, not by a long shot. But has the food always been cooked to order, arrived hot and quickly at my table? Yep. The staff has always been friendly and efficient, the tables have been clean and my coffee cup stayed full. I really can't ask for much more out of a quick diner style place that I go when I want fast homefries and eggs. If you go during the week you can take advantage of their breakfast special which is something ridiculous like $4.99 for an entire meal. Again, manage expectations and you'll have a fine breakfast.

Went on a Sunday after having dinner at a restaurant nearby. I should have known what the service was going to be like when I saw some of the young workers hanging out back of the store laughing, smoking and running around! My ice cream sundae was good, I just wish that the cup that I received the ice cream in was not a messy mess. I had waited long enough - so no need to make a fuss about that. never again.

If I could ZERO stars I would. We stopped in this morn for breakfast and after 2 minutes in there we left. It was 8:00 am and the tables--already set with place setting--were dirty. Streaks from what was likely a filthy rag, but worse there were bits of food on 2 tables we moved to since the seat at our original table was sticky and had leftover straw wrappers on it also. Clearly someone did not bother to wipe down the seats. The same was the case with the other tables. we finally found a table that was mostly clean but when my husband sat down his side of the table was a sticky from syrup that hadn't been wiped up enough. So we decided to leave. We went across the street to the Nautilus Diner and had a very pleasant and clean breakfast!

Today I went to Friendly's for the first time in at least 10 years. I know for sure I will be back there really soon. The food was great and fast. I had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. My daughter raved over their root beer float. The service was attentive and inviting. Also, the ladies bathroom was very clean. Thought that I would mention that too;-).

Wow, one hour later and still hasn't taken our ice cream order. It is myself and my 7 year old daughter. The place is empty. I don't know that I have ever had such slow service. Our waiter keeps shaking his head like he is severely overwhelmed. It's friendlys dude not Ruth chris. Done

The food here is alright! Nothing to write home about! But it's consistent!! No problems at all! Just alright! But the ice cream makes it all better!

Never had the food there, but the ice cream is always awesome! They don't skimp on the sundae toppings here. We've never had an issue with the servers or had to wait to be seated. Will return.

Believe or not, I truly like the food they serve. But regardless, other aspects of this restaurant are SEVERELY lacking. First of all I really hate waiting at the stand in the front without somebody who is in charge of seating: HELLO FRIENDLY'S hire a host or hostess. Do not expect the service staff to be the server/host/busser/ice cream makers!!!! My wife and I visited today after waiting at least 2-3 minutes to be sat, I immediately noticed 5 unbussed tables on our way to our booth. Ewwww!!! The service staff are extremely overworked, but I don't know about their pay which I am assuming is not that much. I think the management expects the servers to do everything which is a terrible idea. I also noticed the carpet was littered with trash from previous tables. The food is only reason I will come back, but maybe next time I'll order to go!

This place has the worst service ever. Will not come back. Took 30 minutes to get a table with 1/3 of the restaurant empty. Took 20 minutes just to get a drink, another 30 minutes for food. Nautilus right across the street is 1000x better.

It's a standard Friendlies. I went on a Friday night when there were a good number of people. I was seated right away, as were those who came in after me (who were of all races, so I'm not sure why other reviewers mentioned racism). The food came out rather quickly and our waitress was very attentive. I was hesitant after reading some reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised.

We walked out of the restaurant after waiting so long for someone to take our order or just provide a glass of water. There appeared to be three servers and just six occupied tables, but we got no attention. Server decided to sit down and eat her own meal before serving us. Unbelievable!

Poor me...we went at this Friendly's --slow service and dirty -- carpet, windows, uniforms, and look carefully -- the dishes too. With this low standard, you can pretty much assume that we are cheapstakes. :(**stars better worse than Waffle House :(

Went back to this place (had some out of town family that wanted to go). It seems they got new carpet and reupholstered the seats. (so it does not stink anymore) But as before the service sucked. When we went in no one seated us. Took a while then when i want to pay there was no one there to take my money. I could of (and should of) just walked out without paying. I had to yell HELLO really loud just to get someones attention to pay my damn bill. This place is still a joke may not smell anymore but still super bad service.

I was in this location on June 21,2013 and was discriminated against. I will never go into tis establishment again. I would drive from DC to Crofton just to get my turkey melt sandwich now I have to go to Silver Spring or Annapolis. I was truly disappointed in this place. I did speak with corporate and was given an apology however the female manager and the employees that were on duty really left a bad impression.

I love this place. I only ever come here when i have about an hour to kill and want to watch people lose their minds. I'll sit down, drink a pot of coffee, watch the drama unfold, eat, and leave. Been sitting here for 30 minutes waiting for 2 scrambled eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and 2 pieces of toast. Its okay though. Because in this amount of time i have gotten to witness 3 separate tables lose it with the staff. Can be quite interesting. Its all about what youre looking for. I dont come here for the service. I come here for the show! Update: got my food after 45 minutes. Like i said, im here for the show. Saw 2 more people complain to the staff. One lady had to return her food twice because they put tartar sauce on it. BOTH times. I cant make this stuff up. Im sittin right by door that goes to the kitchen. People arent even shy about complaining. Theyre walking right up to the kitchen to find their waiter/waitress. At least my waitress was cute. Thanks for the entertainment. Till we meet again friendly's...

I haven't been here for years because my many visits growing up in the area have prompted me to stop trying. The service was consistently TERRIBLE. We were there on multiple occasions and were not served. They always were very slow and had ridiculous excuses as to why things were taking so long. Boo Friendly's of Crofton! Your ice cream is awesome but that's not enough to ever go here again.

I agree with the other reviewer about discrimination. It has an all white staff, with the exception of one and when you walk in they take forever to seat you. That should have been our first sign to leave. Then an overweight cow comes over to take our order and was not professional at all. After I ate my boneless buffalo wings, my stomach starting to cramp immediately. I didn't like the looks of the cook ( thin white lady that looked like she was on some thing) staring back from the counter. I have never had such despicable service and wouldn't recommend this place to any person of color. This place has been taken over by ignorant, low class, trailer trash. My husband was kind enough to leave a two dollar tip to the hog that served us just because she showed up, but I should have taken the tip away because she deserved nothing. They must not be use to dealing with other cultures, which is a shame because you are in a fast food establishment which caters to all people. If you don't want to serve ALL people, get another job. Perhaps a job dealing with trash and you would fit right in. Lastly, if you would at least give people a chance and not judge them based on race, you would leave work with more tips which probably would allow you to get out of your disgusting trailer :(
