I love tacos, I love beef and shrimp tacos and this place makes them pretty darn good! This location is pretty spacious and somewhat clean. The menu has gone under some changes since the last time I've been there but it still has the same look and feel that I am use to. I love the hot sauce bar and the pico. Thanks for reading my review. This is based off of my personal experience and opinion.

I visited this Baja tonight and experienced terrible customer services from a store manager. The sign said, "order any entree and add a guacamole for 99 cents," and I ordered an entree and was charged $1.39 for the guacamole. I checked with the store manager who took my order. He said the price is different for adding a side from adding on the salad. I didn't know there were two options! He tried to make me think that was the customer's fault for not asking. It's only 40 cents difference and I just wanted to clarify. I will stop going to this Baja after episode. Poor customer services!

This Baja Fresh is definitely not up to par. Quality and experience were poor compared to other locations. First of all, the staff are rude. No one was manning the counter, so another employee grudgingly came to take my order and was extremely curt, as if it was my fault the real checkout person had disappeared. She was extremely impatient taking my order, then got frustrated that I didn't hear my number called right away. These guys need to chill out and stop acting like patrons are an inconvenience. Worse, the food is not up to par. The fish in the fish tacos was dry, the corn tortillas were old (which means they taste horrible and were basically inedible) and they forgot the avocado. I've also had a burrito from this location, and it was just ok. Guacamole was unmemorable, chips slightly old. Shape up, folks!

I don't go to Maryland often but I've been here twice. I actually thought this Baja Fresh was okay because I've seen far worse Baja Fresh locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Maybe I'll revise my review when I actually do encounter problems here. Anyway, I usually have carnitas nachos, which is a filling and tasty pile of stuff. I guess I'm not much for refinement. However, the burritos I had on an earlier visit weren't bad either.

Bad food, bad service, dirty environment. The employees were on cell phones, the floors were dirty, and it took 15 minutes to get my order. I could not even throw my trash away because the cans were so full.

Yeah, def not up to Baja standards. Our food was almost right, but a few misses, most notably the guac and chips, but given the quality of the guac on my daughter's plate, it was actually a blessing that they forgot it. The most ironic part was the urinal out of order sign that was peed on.

It's a chain, but I like it, and I love the taller tables next to the windows. I also like the separate table area (which only has the tables sometimes) in case it's too crowded and loud in the main part. The staff is always nice, only minus one star for those occasional times when there is no one at the counter and you have to wait a few minutes. Definitely love the steak quesadilla, but sadly discovered the calories involved one unfortunate day, and it was determined that the cheesy steaky goodness was the reason for my recent acquisition of a third ass-cheek. Perhaps when I have fully lost it, I will venture back to Baja Fresh.

My first time eating here. I ordered the grilled mahi mahi taco plate with a medium drink for $9.20. Chips were not warm or fresh, but were OK with salsa. The mahi was not as fresh as I would expect from a restaurant with "Fresh" in their name but with the addition of hot sauce and lime juice, it turned out all right. The bottom line: the meal was OK. I would not be unwilling to eat here again, but I probably won't seek it out either.

Eek! is right! Isn't that the scream supposed to be heard when a mouse is spotted? It's 12:30 on a weekday, the restaurant is packed with customers... and there is a mouse darting among the trash cans!!!! Baja Fresh is a fine chain restaurant, in general, but stay away from this one!!! If there is one mouse brave enough to be in the dining room at lunch time... imagine how many there are in the kitchen an night! If you go, bring your camera phone! You might be able to collect some dough by showing the mouse footage on the evening news!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
