We were at the Mt. Vernon Stable & Sallon with a group of friends(8 in all) for New Years Day around noon. The restaurant was not crowded. As we had reservations, we were seated quickly and waited for the rest of the crowd to arrive. While we were waiting slices of raisin bread and butter were brought out to tide us over. The waitress was friendly and engaging and attentive. Our orders came out all at the same time and without getting things confused. The menu included brunch items as well as regular lunch and dinner items. I had a salad and it was filled with quality ingredients. My husband had a crab cake sandwich and pronounced it very good. Our friends had other items from the menu. We were so busy gabbing that I no one made comments about their meals. We were offered dessert but we all passed on it. I'm looking forward to going back the next time I'm in Baltimore.

I went between a 3 and 4 star rating for this place, but ended up giving it a 4 because of the people that work at the stable. The food I have enjoyed are: buffalo chicken wrap, jerk chicken wrap, and chicken tenders. As you can see, standard pub fare. I've tried other items, from the salad menu, as well as their burgers and I was not impressed. The bar downstairs is a great place to just chill, have a drink, an app, and good conversation. The drinks are pretty strong, so be aware :). The bartenders are very friendly and all around cool people. Every time I come,I get into a conversation with and meet some really cool people.

If you like mediocre food and bad service, this is the place for you. There always short of staff and their regular customers seem to be okay with waiting.

This place is a B-More classic in mid town. Nothing fancy but usually solid .....great go to for a quick meal wit friends and fam .... Only negative is parking SUCKS!!!!(but I feel that way about all parking I have to pay for.)

I will always love this place and not for the food. Because I had the honor of eating at this fine establishment as the guest of Bill Pullman and his wife when they were in town. What? Shut the front door! I know, right? Mutual friends. I have no idea what I ate. All I know was that the staff was excellent and left us alone. Sometimes that's even more important than the food. Quite frankly, they could have served me cardboard and I would have loved it. I'm such a butthead for writing this but it was SOOOO cool and Bill and his wife were soooo down to earth and fun.

I'm a big fan of 1/2 price rib nights on Mondays. Fantastic ribs for a great price. Try the Cajun style; I prefer them over the original. I haven't tried a whole lot of their other food but they have a pretty diverse menu. I've had the buffalo chicken wrap a few times and liked it. And the sour cream dip they give with the ruffled chips is very addicting. All in all, an interesting fun place with good food and great ribs.

I have been to this place many times and I am almost always disappointed in the food. To be fair, I had some EXCELLENT ribs during PRIDE 2010, but that's about the only time I enjoyed my food. I went back about 2 months later on a Friday night and ordered the ribs and it looked like the ribs had only met the sauce when they were "plated"...very disappointing. Last night I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, safe, right? Well it had no taste! It was overpowered by the greasiness of the meat that completely soaked the bottom of the bun. I really couldn't taste beef or cheese. The bacon came through a bit but only when I tasted it by itself. I wish the food was better here, because it's a nice place and a good location. I will probably avoid this in the future.

(07/17/2011) Really respectable showing for brunch. I've always had good meals here, not sure why we don't come here more often (it's oddly quiet on conversation, yet there's a lot of noise at the same time -- might be too much piped in Whitney duets and showtunes). The Eggs Benedict had nicely poached eggs (perfectly oozy); absurdly buttery Hollandaise. The Southwest Burrito was pronounced "good", had lots (lots!) of black beans, cheese and jalapenos. On a previous occasion I had a nice huge crisp Cobb Salad with all the requisite fixings (plenty of bleu cheese, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers and chicken). The downstairs is a little seedy, the upstairs is a little over the top (as far as decor goes). Service was very prompt and friendly, food came surprisingly quickly. We might put this one back into rotation.

While visiting my friend who lives in Baltimore, we decided to try out this restaurant. After checking out their menu online I was impressed by what a wide selection they had to choose from. When we got there the atmosphere was quasi-classy, in my friend's words "a nice place to bring your parents when they visit." I was a little irked that the place was nearly empty and yet the host sat us in a booth directly next to the only other patrons in the place. Despite that, our waitress was friendly and the food came rather quickly. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was AMAZING!! The chicken was so cripsy, saucy, and delectable and the Gorgonzola cheese chunks put the whole thing over into the edge of awesomeness. I walked away feeling like I had had exactly the right amount of food and for a reasonable price (I think it cost around $8). I continued to think about that dang wrap for the entire rest of my visit and, well, obviously I'm still daydreaming about it! On the downside, I feel like no one else of my group had such an outstanding experience. I was with a picky food crowd of vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free-ers and they seemed to struggle to find something that fit with their dietary restrictions. They all seemed to like the food they did pick but no one else seemed to be blown away like I was.

My friends and I were looking for a cheap brunch local and this place was great! I was thrown off by the name, I expected a western feel, but this is a nice super casual quieter atmosphere upstairs and a cool little pub downstairs. Lots to choose from on the menu and big portions. Dessert wasnt special but brunch/lunch was really great for the price!

I used to live two blocks away, meesed up and moved(sad face). This is a consolidated review. Shout out to the Crap dip(to die for) and Raven Wings. Pasta(especially tortellini is easily a go, as are burgers/fries, seafood, and the boboli's(personal pizzas). The specials are hit and miss, more often hits. Never had the drinks here, but denizens look thoroughly buzzed... My negatives are the long waits you might experience, and the space in between tables in the dining room(I can say this because I'm probably bigger than you.). But the bar downstairs is suitable for a one-off rendezvous.

Love to horse around at the Stable! The dining room is very quaint, old Baltimore. Or you can dine the the saloon, which is like a typical barroom but with some good local color among the patrons. The menu is fun. They have specials daily including a pizza, pasta, wraps, burritos - things like that. Jerk chicken is a standout. They make a very good Cobb salad. My other half enjoys the Tex-Mex items very much. Brunch is particularly good (see: Mt. Vernon potatoes!) on the weekends. I wish they would also serve their quiche on Saturdays instead of just Sunday. Staff is super nice.

I have fond memories of the Stables. I used to go here a lot when I was hanging out in Mt. Vernon more frequently. It's a good reasonably priced lunch or dinner spot. Unless there is an event going on in the neighborhood, it's not too busy. The food is okay. We went there for brunch a couple times, and I really enjoyed it. The potatoes were yummy. It's a good neighborhood spot to hang out and have a drink when you aren't looking for something fancy.

I came here on New Year's Eve with a big group and it was perfect. We wanted a low-key dinner with options for all palates, and that's exactly what we got. The waiter was really friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food isn't gourmet, but it was all really tasty, especially the ribs. They were having a special for NYE - a whole rack of ribs was $8, so we got one for the table to share as an appetizer. They had great flavor and the meat literally fell off the bones. I'd go back just for those ribs! For my entree, I got their prime rib special, and was very happy with my choice. We got a bunch of desserts for the group, but the best one was the chocolate mousse cake. I would definitely come back here when I'm back in Baltimore!

Have been to the stable many times and enjoy the informal bar area and decent food. We were there yesterday (Saturday) afternoon. Please note - it wasn't crowded ... 2 small tables in dining room and 1 group of 3 at the bar and it seemed they were getting ready to leave. The drinks/menus arrived promptly then the bartender disappeared. We were in a hurry and wanted to order and one of the men from the table stood next to me to cash out his check. Finally, the bartender shows up. While standing right in front of me, I mentioned that we'd like to order since we were in a bit of a time crunch. He stood there a few seconds, turned and proceeded to attend to the group of 3 women who just walked in - the guy standing next to me looked at me and we shrugged our shoulds and waited again. Then the same thing on the way out. When he walked by we asked for the check quickly - we weren't waiting this time for him to acknowledge us. I laid my card down so we could pay and move on. Again, instead of bring the bill .... he went to attend to another group 2 young ladies who just walked in... Then he comes by and takes my charge card and says he'll be right back ... I had to remind him that he didn't bring me the check yet! Since both my husband and I are former servers, we tend to be over tippers and very forgiving of slow service while busy and/or understaffed (neither applied here) I left a minimal tip when most would have left nothing and called management. In hindsight, that's what we should have done.

This place has been open for years and will continue to be open for years to come. I've never been to a place that's so down to earth but yet very professional at the same time. The food is AWESOME! Never had a bad dish, Greek salad, ribs, the southern comfort burgers etc! The bartenders are awesome and so are the waiters. I've never had a bad experience, never had a bad dish, it's a very safe and fun place to go in order to have a good time, good food, and meet good local people.

I really really really want to give this place a better rating. The staff has always been nice and I've usually had good meals there. But the bar really really really smells funky. A little Febreeze couldn't hurt, right?

Cozy pub-like downstairs bar with good beer specials. If you're gonna order food be prepared for tons of it (especially the pasta). The service is laid-back, friendly and quick. I was there at the beginning of happy hour so I was there with what looked like a few regulars. I got the feeling anyone is welcome there, and you can sit and chat with everybody and feel comfortable. Cheap beer, tons of food and conversations with random nice folks? Yeah, good stuff.

Oh man! If you love Cheesecake Factory, then you'll like it here because they serve huge portions (sans cheesecakes)...so be prepared to split your meal with a friend. Mount Vernon is generally a laid back, friendly dining environment. Their menu offers a wide variety of selection and they're reasonably priced. I ordered the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with fries. The sliced roast beef were laid on top of halved toasts with gravy on top. However, I was disappointed because the roast beef was lukewarm. The fries were a hit-and-miss because they were "boardwalk style". Some were nice and crunchy and others were limpy. My other complaint was that there was only one unisex bathroom and it was located between the dining area and a swinging kitchen door. Not even tucked away in a little hall. Oh man, I pity those people seated near the bathroom and maybe catch a waft from there. (Yeah, I know...barf time!) Other than that, nice little place.

Good comfort food, and a great staff. I eat here frequently, and always go back because they treat me like family. Monday is Ribs night...as a Southerner, I feel impelled to say, their ribs are spot-on good. Ask for Ashley or George. Great service and good consistent food here.

Update! The Stable tried to improve a little and updated some of their menu items and even added a couple new items. I still feel pretty "blah" about the food. Another bonus is you can now read their menu. They updated it so it won't take you 15 minutes to locate the Reuben. Still 2 stars though. Nice try Stable.

It's not the food or the drinks you go for, it's the atmosphere. Aside from being located in my favorite adventuring neighborhood, it has an eclectic and often eccentric group of patrons. I prefer to eat at the bottom floor bar, as it never fails to end in interesting dinner conversation with regulars. The place isn't trendy, or even pretty most of the time, but it's always a great place to grab a bite and have good convo with friends or strangers.

Went with a group of six people. We ordered two appetizers, six sodas and six entrees and it came out to about $100 for everyone. Not bad. Everybody liked their food, and there were a ton of specials. I got a chicken wrap and my coworkers enjoyed their crab quesadilla. Definitely agree that there are big portions there. I didn't even eat half of my food at the time, so I took plenty of leftovers home. The Stable is nice and cozy, and a good sitdown place to grab lunch.

I've been eating at the Stable since I moved to Mt Vernon 6 years ago. I decided to write a review now because we went last Monday night and found out about Rib night. A few dollars off if not 1/2 price ribs on Monday. Not sure about that. The BBQ ribs at the Stable are excellent. The slow cook them all day in their own sauce. The rest of the food is very good. Weekend Brunch is excellent. Great big menu prices are reasonable, they have a full bar too. I've always got great service. Anyway, this place has been around forever, so I'm told. You haven't been to Mt. Vernon until you've been to the Stable.

The Stable is where my body learned to need alcohol, and the beauty of drinking in the middle of the afternoon at the edge of an empty bar, staring out at Charles Street, with $10 worth of forgetting music in the jukebox and a patient nurse to listen to me ramble. The bottom bar has the constant smell of bile and cheap vodka permeating from the floor... too many good times I guess, and don't go around to the back booths unless you know what they are for. I don't care for the food except the Sat/Sun brunch, and rarely ever went upstairs but I still give it 5 stars because that's not what a good bar is to me. This bar more than any other in Mt.Vernon is patronized by a near full cross section of its population, enough so to give any logical person who drank their often enough a deep understanding of what that particular part of the Great City of Baltimore at that specific time was all about, or send him fleeing into the deep woods fearful of every human being he saw thereafter.... or maybe I am just pissed they never put a picture of me in the collage on the wall, can you do something about that? I mean come on!

Sunday brunch requisite: the Baltimore. Like Eggs Benedict but with a pile of delicious crab. Melts in your mouth! Quiches and omelets are good as well. Service is good and prices are reasonable.

Awesome barbeque at Mt. Vernon Stable and Saloon. I got the ribs and chicken dinner and wish I would have gotten just the ribs. The chicken was good, but the ribs were amazing. Cute little place...nice to be in a BBQ joint populated by lgbt people. It's also right down the street from a big gay dance club, so you can eat your meat and then check out the meat.

Went here with a group of friends after going to a talk at the Enoch Pratt Free Library. I split the toasted ravioli appetizer and had a Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. The food and drink were very good, they were what you'd expect. Summer Shandy is always a good choice. The ravioli were probably frozen and heated but the taste was great. Nice casual atmosphere for talking and catching up with friends. Not too noisy. They have some pinball machines which is a plus since I am a pinball fan. They have a Spiderman machine and a Simpsons machine. Bathrooms were clean. Prices were very fair. I'd return.

Ambiance: four stars Service: four stars Food: three stars Honestly, the food doesn't particularly stand out and it's pretty standard bar food. However, I'm a BIG fan of their Monday Ribs night. $6 for half rack, $8 for full rack. The portions sizes are pretty decent. Overall, the servers are hospitable.

I would like to start by saying Kara is an amazing server, bartender and showed the most hospitality I have ever seen in baltimore. The shrimp we ordered were cooked very well and portion and price were on point. This is a great spot but kara was the star. My glass was never empty and she kept me smiling the whole time! If you want a nice bar and restaurant in beautiful downtown Baltimore I wouldn't pass it up.

It was a good, solid meal. Nothing to write home about, but not disappointing, either. I had fried calamari (mount vernon style, with the pepperocinis and vinegar) and that was the best part of the meal. The calamari was slightly chewy, but mostly delicious and I love the light vinegar sauce. It is a unique and well-thought-out way to serve calamari, which shows promise for the other dishes on the menu. I also had a chicken taco salad, which was not bad but slightly disappointing. There was canned salsa instead of pico or tomatoes, thick sour cream in a ramekin (what am I supposed to do with this) and no dressing- I had to ask. No corn or guac or anything like that, either. The salad plate was inundated with corn chips around the side, almost blocking access to the salad itself. NORMALLY I would be like, "oh, awesome, an excuse to eat a ton of chips instead of my salad," but unfortunately these were very bland, cardboard-like chips. And I had to move them off the plate in heaps to even get at the salad. The chicken was cooked well, though. My companion had the flounder stuffed with crab florentine, and she said it was very good. Maybe the trick here is to stay away from the salads. Ribs and bar food are supposed to be their thing, and I've heard rave reviews. I would definitely come back here and try another selection.

A longtime staple of downtown nightlife, The Stable has a full-service bar downstairs and a dining room upstairs. The menu runs from salads and wraps to Italian and burgers. They are also known for a solid selection of cakes, including their version of Jewish Apple Cake. I have dined here forever and have never been disappointed. However, it is when you read the specials board, which they'll also recite to you, that you see they have surprisingly changed with the times. So one night early this week, it was honey salmon special with a vegetable medley. In short: it was delicious! Bonus: At certain times, usually late, they'll let you chose your spot--for singles, it's nice not being shoehorned into the dreaded "alone" tables.

The drinks were strong, and the service was great! I was with a big party and our waitress Kristyna was very attentive. I like how extensive their menu is. They have ribs, steak, pasta, wings, salads, and whatever you have a taste for. The wings were good too. I'd definitely go back!

Recently I was entrusted with choosing a restaurant that would serve as the site for my job's summer staff outing. I called ahead for a reservation for 12 and Mt. Vernon Stable & Saloon was more than accommodating. The day of our staff Baltimore Scavenger hunt came to an end and I just knew that Mt. Vernon Stable & Saloon would have something for every hungry palate. We ranged from Vegans to Meat eaters. As the 12 of us chatted about the hunt, the server seamlessly served us our waters and took our drink orders. From there he gingerly took our food order. With more than half of us getting ribs, I just knew our order would take a while to fulfill. Not so! In less than 20mins our food was on the table and piping hot! Everyone was so pleased with what they ordered it was dead silent for at least 10-15 mins. :) I for one ordered the ribs. They was perfectly cooked, the meat was tender and the sauce was fingerlicking good. Mt. Vernon Stable & Saloon should be a staple in your restaurant queue when choosing a spot with flair, ambiance, good service and down right good food. They also boast a pretty awesome brunch! Oh PS! Monday is rib night! 6 bucks for a half rack and 8 for a full. How you love that?!

Really fun neighborhood bar. Stopped in to watch the World Cup game and it was not problem to change the channel on one of the TVs for us. We ate and drank for a couple of hours. Although they do not have a dedicated gluten-free menu they were willing to find something besides a salad for me to eat. The steamed shrimp with Old Bay were delicious. My partner got the Taco Tuesday platter and I enjoyed fajitas (sans tortillas, plus lettuce). They have Angry Orchard on tap. We left full and happy.

Customer service is less desirable. The bar host is less attentive to making me feel comfortable in dining experience as much as he is concerned about writing menus on a chalkboard. Wow, no real customer service.

Great neighborhood restaurant! Everything from the burgers to ribs to salads to lasagna is Great! Eat there at least once a week - the service is great, and when they know you're in rush, even faster than normal! Great place for before show dinner - or post-show drinks and conversation --- and handling a large party of 20 is never a problem! And - great Happy Hour menu! Laurie, Jane, Sean, Lisa --- they are the best!

I've been here a few times now. The last time was the Friday before last. I feel like this place keeps getting better. The younger crowd sits in the basement bar. The bar tenders are awesome; making excellent drinks at lightning speed (so you can go in at 6:55 when happy hour ends at 7 and get drinks lol). The food was worlds better than it was the last time I went (probably 6 months ago) and that's not to say it was bad then. They have a plethora of options at different price points that satisfied my group of picky eaters, carnivores, and vegetarians. I had a sampling of my friend's cheese fries, which are hand cut and smothered in real cheese not sauce (did I mention I'm a french fry connoisseur?) I had a BLT wrap that was made with a spinach wrap and bursting with bacon (could have used a bit more tomato) that was good and a loaded baked potato with broccoli and cheese. I opted for Sam Adams's seasonal. While the other ladies had strawberry lemonade, half & half, and coco loco. The coco loco was hands down the drink of the night. The coconut water vodka accompanied by pineapple and lime juices was so refreshing I felt like I was in one of those peppermint patty commercials only instead of being transported to a freezing mountain top I was transported to a Caribbean or Hawaiian beach. Overall if you're looking for an amazing culinary adventure this is not it, but if you're looking a for a fun atmosphere to enjoy some good drinks and cheap eats, I would go here again and again and you should too!

I live in DC, but was attending a conference in B'more on the next day. I decided to stay the night to avoid the turn around trip. Mt Vernon saloon was our second stop. We finished the night there with cocktails, beers, ribs and candy from the huge candy bucket at the bar. Kara was our bartender. She was great! Attentive and importantly, non judgmental (our conversation was pretty, err . .risque). The bar was described as a "dive", but just because a place is in the basement doesn't mean it's a dive. This place is "homey" You feel like a regular as soon as you sit at the bar. Makes sense since my friend lives just across the street. I was assured that the ribs are great. My pals ordered a rack. Although I didn't have any, I could see that they were bone tender and juicy. I had a drink called a 'Baltimore Mimosa". Natty Bo and OJ. Go figure. It was great. Also, I hear Monday night is rib night. I plan to go back as soon as I can.

This is my go to place when I want a quick bite to eat or beer. Monday nights are rib night, full rack for $8. My friend and I usually drop in on Mondays for ribs and a beer for a whopping $10 + tip. Never been upstairs, go for the divey downstairs and play some pinball while you're there! Always a good selection of music playing off the jukebox as well.

Came here to check out the Monday night special: a full rack of baby back ribs for only $8 (normal price: $14). We sat in the dining area, but there's also a bar downstairs. Decoration was random and tacky, like the Egyptian tomb hanging from the ceiling. Service started out friendly: we were there pretty early for dinner and were seated pretty quickly. The waitress brought waters over and gave us some time to decide. We ordered a full rack of baby back ribs and a side of fries. The waitress did not ask if we wanted the original or Cajun BBQ sauce. We let this go. The ribs were small (well obviously, they're baby back) and had very little sauce on them. The meat fell off the bone really nicely but was flavorless! The fries were a decent-sized portion and were good. When it came time for the bill, we were charged the normal price for the ribs, even though it was the Monday night special. The waitress came by to pick up the check while holding a tray of food. When we mentioned the incorrect price to her, she seemed annoyed and left the check where it was. She didn't come back to acknowledge or correct it until a good 10 minutes later. We came here on some recommendations, and their self-proclaimed "Baltimore's best baby back ribs". But we were hugely disappointed by both the ribs and the service.

Back again on half price rib night. $7 for a rack. Tonight I had a bowl of chili which was spicy and meaty. Chunks of tomatoes. I also had their Szechuan noodles with tons of chopped fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and other gems in a vinaigrette dressing. Yummy.

I had one of the worst experiences yesterday at the Mt. Vernon Stables. The service was non-existent, the food mediocre and the place dirty. We had to ask for drinks several times, the food came out wrong and the table was left unattended for long periods of time. Baltimore left a lot to be desired as far as I am concerned.

It pains me to write this review. I actually feel sick to my stomach writing this, because at one time, I truly enjoyed the Stable. But whether I feel sick because of what I'm going to write, or the food, right now it's a mystery. First, I'll start with the service. The server was fine; he was attentive, asked if we needed anything, the works. He wasn't the problem. But the wait time was. We arrived at 7:45pm. We weren't served until 8:45pm. All that we ordered was potato skins, a pasta dish, and a half-rack of ribs - that's it. We were told that the pasta was the last thing to be cooked. Seriously: pasta does NOT take 45 minutes to cook. I cook pasta almost 3 times a week and I can TELL you it doesn't take that long. They don't even have an excuse of a busy atmosphere. The place was only half-full upstairs, and less than a quarter full downstairs. What....the....hell? Now, the food. Oh, man, was this beyond disappointing. My boyfriend's pasta primavera was just... tasteless. Beyond tasteless. I'm aware that cream sauces are supposed to be subtle, but not to the point where it's dead. There was absolutely NO FLAVOR whatsoever in this dish. And this was AFTER he put salt and pepper in it - I can only imagine what it tasted like before that. Dear God almighty. The vegetables were only half-cooked; I ate those because I could stomach it, but when the best part of your meal is a teaspoon of roasted red peppers, that spells disaster. My half-rack of ribs were greasy, fatty, and the sauce was beyond unbelievable - it tasted like watered-down ketchup. I was beyond shocked - these were NOT the Stable ribs I remembered and enjoyed. Again....what...the...hell? The potato skins were just "okay"; even those were terrible toward the end. There was... just something off about them. We waited nearly an hour for food that was beyond sub-par. I could have made better at home without the nearly 40 dollar price tag. The bathroom was absolutely DISGUSTING. Used toilet paper on the floor, wet sinks, hair all over the place. I was appalled. Incredibly disappointing.

This place has really good drinks! And they serve them in large glasses! :) It's a nice dive bar that is very spacious. Good drinks, good bar food. There are happy hour specials at a variety of prices. This is a good place to go if you want to do something low key and inexpensive. It's a good place for groups. There is a jukebox downstairs so there's always a mix of music playing depending on who chooses the music. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. I would revisit next time I am in town if I ever just wanted a good drink and good bar food.

Downstairs Bar: It's really just a dump with booths at the back. These are excellent for being away from the noise and ideal when coffee shops are closed and you'd like to able to talk without shouting to someone when you're not up for hosting. There's really no other reason to go to the bar. Upstairs Restaurant area: Good service but crap food. 2.5 stars is probably a better rating but 2 is just unfair.

Service is pretty good and their ribs are delicious. Monday is rib night as others have mentioned, which is a great deal. Usually come for a low-key evening.

A few of my closest friends come to this bar all the time and would always talk about it. I don't know how, in 6 years of knowing them, I have never been here before, but I decided the other day I was determined to see what all the fuss was about. I sat at the downstairs bar because the upstairs seemed boring...looked like all the good people watching was downstairs, and who doesn't like people watching?? I loved the dive bar sporty atmosphere. Old pictures of Bmore lined the walls, people hanging out cheering for the O's, or having quiet conversations off in the corner. Seemed cozy and very much a local spot, which is great. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I had a bourbon and ginger beer (I was excited they had ginger beer...most places, especially local dive bars, don't. We're off to a great start here). The crab and corn chowder was awesome! Perfectly creamy, lots of crab meat, and sweet flavorful corn. The wings were good. I had the buffalo style...they weren't spicy at all, but I usually like things super spicy...to the point it would make others uncomfortable to share my food, so that's just me...they were still very tasty. I'm excited to go back!
