My wife and I went there for lunch. It's located in a fine boutique hotel, O'Callahan's on West St. Dining room light and inviting. We both ordered the lobster salad. It was excellent. Entire staff friendly and welcoming, including our outstanding server. Valet parking available. Will definitely return.

This review is for John Barry, the restaurant in O'Callahan's that doesn't seem to show up on Yelp. I went w 2 friends during Annapolis Restaurant Week. We made reservations expecting it to be some what busy for a Wednesday. We ended up being the only table for dinner the entire time we were there, should have taken that as a hint. Restaurant Week dinner pricing was 32.95 for 3 courses. My first course was a hearty vegetable rice soup. To best describe it, imagine taking day old broccoli in brown sauce stir fry, w white rice and adding broth. That's it. My second course was supposed to be filet mignon, but ended up being the scraps of someone else's steak. It was over done, with most pieces (thats right, it came to me in pieces) grisly and well done when I had ordered medium rare. I never knew mashed potatoes could be so runny and bland. My friends ordered salmon which came over done, and a crab cake duo, which came as one crab cake but she was told that it was the same amount but formed into one patty and not to expect another one. If it weren't for the cheesecake, I would have said something before leaving. I felt bad for our server, the bartender that kept getting pulled from the bar to wait on us.

I came here with a group of people for a Meetup and, as far as I'm concerned it's a great place. I didn't have a sit down meal but the appetizers served by the restaurant where tasty and the bar service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is wonderful. Very comfy and cozy. It's part of O'Callahan's and the hotel is pretty nice, too, as far as I can tell. It's a bit smaller than Lowe's Annapolis two blocks down the street but if you want something equally as nice on a smaller scale, this is the place

My husband and I had a very disappointing experience and unfortunately will never return. We came to the restaurant for a concert in May. Our server was out-right rude, inattentive, and clearly did not want to serve us. We would have liked to try some food, but getting drinks from her with table service was difficult enough. Menus were thrown down in front of us. When we mentioned that we would like to order food in addition to drinks she told us that would have to come at a later point. Unfortunately she never came back to take a food order. 75% into the concert with empty glasses, and other tables finishing up their dinners and desserts, it appeared to be a very lost cause. Really... What a shame.

Perfectly decent, especially for a hotel restaurant. The service was a little slow but very friendly. I got very fresh and tasty chicken caesar salad and was very happy with it. I wouldn't choose this restaurant over other dining options in the area, but if you're staying in the hotel, as we were, it is convenient option with good food.

My wife and I stayed at O'Callaghan's and had dinner there. She had the strawberry spinach salad and I had the chicken shrimp and andouille. Her salad was very fresh with good sweet strawberries and a very good balsamic vinaigrette. My dinner had a generous portion of chicken shrimp and andouille and the sauce was very flavorful. I would definitely try this restaurant again. One final observation, why do restaurants leave the tails on shrimp in dishes like this?
