WE got hungry after shopping so we tried Red Lobster, It has been a while since I been but this was a very nice experience. Once seated our waiter Kevin was very polite and not overbearing. The crunchy fried fish sandwich with fries was excellent. I never had to ask for a refill on my drink. The apple dessert was just the right portion. All in all had a great experience and may actually return. Awesome service.....

Man.... man oh man. Red Lobster use to be THE SPOT. I don't know what happened =( So like people have said before; Red Lobster isn't the worst place in the world, they just have to do better. However they like staying on the decline! Service - The waiter could have did a little better. First I order some mozzarella sticks. My GF had a sudden change of heart and decided she wanted to get a appetizer too. When the waiter came back she conveyed this to him. At first he didn't understand what she was saying. She wanted to add an appetizer for the "create your appetizer" combo. When the food came, my Mozzarella sticks came, AND THEN more sticks came along with her appetizer. So we had all these extra food that I wasn't going to eat and still got charged for it. Next thing Red Lobster could work on is biscuits. WE ALL LOVE their biscuits. Stop giving us 2 or 3 at a time. Red Lobster use to hand out 5 or 6 to a table. I don't mind asking the waiter for more biscuits, just know I'm going to ask the waiter about 7 times in the night. Next the salads.....I'm still waiting...... never got them. The food was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, however it is just not like it was back in the day. Over all I'd go back, but I will literally have to be STARVING and nothing else around. I moved to DC from Utah. In Utah Red Lobster was the only thing around, therefore it could afford to mess up. Where else we going to go. But in DC/Baltimore??? I can go to the mom and pop seafood joint down the street and get better food for HALF the price.

Nice place to eat. Over the years I've always had great service and good food. It is a little noisy. For the money I spend there I would prefer a quieter setting but I'm still a repeat customer.

My number one pet peeve is that my drink should always be full. The service was awesome. I never had to ask for a refill. Waiter was constantly asking us how we were doing. My cherry coke had like 8 cherries in it each time. The amount of food that we got for the price was about what you would expect. Quality could have been better. Awesome service though, not to loud. Only thing that drove me a little crazy was the sanctimonious brat sitting behind us, butting into our conversation, and then trying to talk shit. I realize they have no control over who there customers are so that's fine. All in all I was pleased, food could use a little work though.

This was one of the worst dining experiences that I have ever had; from the first touch onward. The food was luke warm, lacked flavor and was cold. My wife's lobster was OVERCOOKED and tasted like rubber. My salmon was also extremely dry and over cooked. The biscuits also tasted old and they were neither hot nor fresh. The appetizer (lobster/artichoke dip) was so greasy we had I send it back. There was literally about 3 ounces of grease sitting on top of the dip. I submitted my feedback online as well as via other means. I actually want a refund. I, now, have an upset stomach and would LOVE to get my money back. It was a waste of a dining experience. I need every penny I get and don't have the funds, time nor money to waste.

It was Mother's Day, and I figured we eat some seafood somewhere else besides Phillips.. The ladies at the front desk made a huge positive impression on me; they immediately gave me a "notifier" gadget and pleasantly told me that our party of four could have to wait 40mins. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything better, cos we've waited longer at similar restaurants, but as it turns out, we only waited 9minutes before the handy gadget started buzzing, notifying me that our table was ready! Lisa, our server, was courteous and professional. The food was Great. My wife and kids loved it. We had a good time! I highly recommend this Red Lobster.

Endless shrimp was awesome! Had the parmesan, garlic and sirachi! Long with broccoli and salad! Very good. My aunt has the same and my cousin had the tilapia and broccoli. All very good.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of Red Lobster but this location is pretty sweet. The Missus and I came here after seeing a movie in Annapolis. It was midday, about 2-ish - and we were both hungry (no popcorn at the movie theater) and she had a hankering for the cheesy biscuits they serve. So, we stopped off. It was really quite nice. The layout was nice, the booths were roomy, the waitress and hostess were friendly and efficient and, best of all the food was actually pretty good. Of course, we scarfed down the biscuits. They were wonderful. We both ordered the Teriyaki salmon (lunch portion). It was really pretty tasty. The Teriyaki flavoring was not overpowering as some restaurants do and while we had a choice of sides (the starch) we went with the wild rice which was also very tasty. The waitress was attentive without being overbearing and we were able to have a leisurely lunch and (this is key) we got the check when we were finished and ready to leave. No interminable wait for a check at the end. Bottom line: good food, good atmosphere, good service. I was impressed.

Service was terrible. The waitress could have done a better job. Whem I was with my parents I didn't like the way the waitress treated my Mom.

Service was excellent! Food was enjoyable but had tto be compared to seafood in an area famous for its seafood.

I just went this past Sunday with my family. Excellent, prompt service! Our server was Kate and she deserved her tip because she was very attentive and helpful. LOVE the coconut shrimp! Shrimp alfredo was overflowing with shrimp. Cheddar bay biscuits were on point. We had a wonderful family time. We will definitely return.

Both of my visits this Red Lobster were above average. I had the same waitress both times - can't remember her name, but was pleased by the service on both occasions. They were busy, and the dining area was a bit loud for my liking, but that's to be expected at any family restaurant. For what's served, the prices are a bit high, but not too high as to keep me from returning. As other reviewers have noted, the rolls are good. Probably terrible for you (who knows?), but they taste good. Convenient location right off 50 by the mall.

Ok, so let's be honest. 99% of the people that eat here only come for the amazing orgasm in your mouth Cheddar Bay biscuits. If they decided to stop serving those I bet they would see a major decline in business. Ok now that we got that out the way, I will say being from Maryland I have grown up on some of the freshest crabs and fresh fish from my uncle's weekly fishing trips. Red Lobster isn't the WORST place for seafood, but it certainly isn't your first choice for seafood ESPECIALLY considering the Annapolis downtown harbor area is only a minute away. Mom usually get's rainbow trout fried or grilled. She usually enjoys it although last time from my side of the table it looked mad greasy. I get the shrimp trio and its average. Nothing horrible but also not something you would write home about. Also the Caesar salad that they bring out before your mean is horrendous. Like seriously as much as i love Caesar salad's I would opt for a garden salad. Perhaps if you lived in an area where seafood establishments are hard to come by, Red Lobster would be your main spot. However, living in the DC/Baltimore area their are just far too many superior alternatives. Red Lobster is also a little pricey. I will say the servers at this particular location are awesome. Also it's literally right next to Annapolis Mall, so the location makes it super convenient.

I don't frequent Red Lobster but when I do I really enjoy the biscuits. (The whole reason people go to Red Lobster). This location a biscuit are really bad. The first batch was old and stale. The second batch was hot but they were extremely HARD!!! Then utensils and glasses were dirty with stuck on food. Service was good but I don't think I would return to this location again.

Love the biscuits :) started out with no spoon for the soup. No dressing on the salad and no wine. Another waitresses stepped in and fixed it all. Wife & daughter ordered blue cheese steaks which came without the blue cheese. Mixrd review because another waitress helped fix the initial problems. Could have neen worse, could have been better. Finnished with desserts.

I'm a transplant from upstate NY and I'm not ashamed to admit that among the legions of seafood restaurants in Annapolis, this Red Lobster is my favorite. I love this place so much I even worked there as a bartender in Harrisonburg, VA while going to grad school. This particular location has the same menu and layout of all the other places so no noteworthy differences there, but the service is always excellent at this place. One friendly waitress taught me the ropes on how to get the most out of the all you can eat shrimp feast (place your last order when you are full and sneakily box up the leftovers). Whenever I go I get either the Ultimate Feast, whatever the current "all you can eat" special is, or "create your own feast" and cram in the cheddar buscuits while my native Annapolitan husband hides his head in shame. I don't care though, I'll shout it from the rooftops - I LOVE ME SOME RED LOBSTER.

    1. I don't understand the raves about the biscuits. Yes they are good, but do not deserve all the attention. 2.My wife ordered pasta with asparagus and lobster. The sauce tasted like some gummy mess. It was supposed to be a rose' sauce, but it was the farthest thing from that. 3. My stepson got the shrimp platter. On the menu it sounded like you were going to get this tremendous plate of shrimp. Not so. I think he had 8 total. 4. My entree was a pasta alfredo with seafood. Bland and not worth the money. Seriously, how does this chain stay in business?

I really enjoy Red Lobster in general and this location is no exception. The staff is always professional, friendly, and attentive. The food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful. For some reason, I always order the same thing when I go here: The "create your own feast - choose any two" with shrimp scampi and steamed snow crab legs, baked potato, a side salad with ranch dressing, and an iced tea. My husband always gets something different and has always been satisfied with the portion and taste of his meal. I love the side salad's here because they are a perfect size, the lettuce is always fresh and crispy, and the vegetables are chopped (I think they used to be sliced). The ranch dressing is really good as well. They give you a good amount of time to enjoy your salad and nosh on some of those amazing cheddar biscuits before the meals arrive. The shrimp scampi is amazing but I may be biased because I LOVE butter and I LOVE garlic! The steamed snow crab legs are usually cooked so the meat slides out perfectly though occasionally I've had some stubborn ones. The baked potato taste good but is nothing special. I'm usually full by the time I get to this so it doesn't bother me. If you want good seafood but don't want to pay high prices, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Given that the group I was with went here the night before Christmas, I understand that things can get chaotic in the kitchen and with the waitstaff. It was my first time at a Red Lobster and I kept hearing rave reviews about their food. On a bad note: the hostess, who was a stout, middle-aged woman, ignored us the entire time we were trying to put our name down for a table. I ordered the Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops dish which was blander than rice in water. The shrimp had that translucent look to it which did not look appetizing at all. The entire seafood dish tasted like it was cooked in a rush (again, I understand the need to push orders on a busy holiday) On a good note: our waitress was polite and courteous. I would come back again on a night that isn't near a major holiday because I feel like the food would've been better if it wasn't rushed.

Well, I'm a sucker for the glorious crustacean, so regardless of how it compares to another restaurant, I will by default be a fan of this restaurant. The decorations were on-spot, and our waiter, Paige (reviewed here: ratewait.com/restaurant/… ) was fantastic. However, with respect to chains of a similar nature, I'd say the food steps just high enough to be considered on par. That being said, the location is fantastic, the atmosphere is conducive to satisfaction, and the staff knows just what the customers need.

Terrible service and the food is not good considering the price. We've tried a couple times over the past years with the same results. Would not recommend to anyone.

I know it's Red Lobster in an area that has many excellent seafood restaurants. However, I've been to many Red Lobsters in places that don't have great access to seafood. This restaurant is well run for a chain seafood place. The cheddar bay biscuits are the bomb! It's frozen seafood, but it's pretty yummy. Like someone else said you get a salad, too, for a reasonable price.

Terrible. My wife and I both got sick from dinning there last night. I had the seafood feast and she had the lobster and shrimp linguini. The lobster was tough and chewy and flavorless. My son had some of my wife's leftovers before we began to feel I'll, he suffered along with us later that night. The cheddar biscuits are phenomenal, but that is it. Service is lackluster and our server struggled to put together complete sentences in English. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

this location has ample parking, friendly staff and fast service and food. most seafood here is previously frozen but if you like your seafood previously frozen, economical and with a free salad- then this is the place for you. stay away from the cheddar bay biscuits though, they are like crack. they are 100 calories each and once you have one... you'll be lining up every weekend for more. the lobster bisque is good as is the clam chowder. I also like the grilled shrimp (lite fare) and Parmesan crusted Tilapia . the Bahama mamas and the virgin strawberry daiquiris are a real treat too. great for kids and large parties. a little loud at times. priced right. service might depend on the server you get. it's crowded on the weekends and the wait list is first come first serve. if you'd rather not wait, try dining on a monday or tuesday night.

I had given up going to Red Lobster years ago, due to the countless other great seafood places in the DC area that are so much better. Well, I got a craving for those damn cheddar biscuits and decided to give Red Lobster a try again. The meal started with the aforementioned cheddar biscuits which were great as always. I then ordered the lobster, crab and seafood stuffed mushrooms. It was decent, but not as good as I remembered it being in the past and nothing to write home about. For my entree, I went with the crab linguine alfredo. The picture on the website menu shows big CHUNKS of crab meat (presumably chunks of snow or king crab leg pieces). The description of the dish says "Sweet crabmeat tossed in a parmesan cream sauce on a bed of linguini". The description was accurate, except for the "sweet crabmeat" part. Instead of sweet chunks of crab like I was expecting, I was served a pasta dish containing nothing but fishy tasting shredded pieces of crab from the body of the crab, not from the leg. You know when you eat a snow crab leg and you have all of that meat at the base of leg where it attaches to the body? The meat inside the cluster cavity that sometimes you eat and sometimes you don't based on how bland or fishy it tastes. The meat that a lot of restaurants use just to make soup stock or something that does not require having to actually eat that unappetizing part of the crab. Well, that is the only crab meat that this crab dish consisted of. Not a single chunk from the leg to be found, just shredded body meat. Are you F'n kidding me Red Lobster?! I was done after two bites and that is very uncharacteristic of me to flat out just turn my nose up at something. If I were Gordon Ramsay, I would have called the cook out and spat it on the floor in front of him. It was that bad. I felt very misled and ripped off after eating that crap. I downloaded a recipe for the cheddar biscuits, so I have no further use for this joke of a seafood restaurant.
