Drinks are very good and not expensive at all. If Kim is the bartender, your night will be even better. She is very nice. The atmosphere was very comfortable. We were staying at the Double Tree so we just walked down to the lobby. There was no need to drive anywhere. Not sure if any locals would stop in but glad we checked it out.

When the Gawds of Cheesy Nautical Themes got together for their Annual Convention, one of them had too much to drink and threw up. It landed here.

Great bar, great little restaurant, great surprise in a hotel. Hotel restaurants seem hell-bent on soaking corporate expense account jackasses for all they can and getting away with mediocrity, but Ports of Call offers very good food and drink just downstairs from your room, and at decent prices. I love this bar/restaurant/breakfast place! Recommendation: Chesapeake Benedict for breakfast - basically, eggs benedict with crab cake. KICK-ASS breakfast! A wee bit pricy for breakfast but this is a great meal.

While killing some time while waiting for someone that was in a conference at the hotel. I decided to get breakfast. I had pancakes, they were plate sized and fluffy. I took a star off due to the fact that it was early and the server seemed to be taking care of other tasks and I had to wait a while to order and to get my check.

When staying at the hotel and you don't want to leave to go anywhere for the night then eating here or ordering takeout is probably your best option. However if your'e looking for a good meal then this might not be the spot. The staff was nice but the food needed work. My calamari came out good but the sauce that came with it didn't go well with it. As for my wings, not only was it salty but I was disappointed when I found that my last 2 pieces were under cooked. I didn't bother with anything else on the menu because it seemed overpriced for the dish. Just based on my experience which I tried to make it simple and satisfying, I'll definitely be thinking real hard before coming back.

Best breakfast and breakfast buffet I've ever had. Everything tastes fresh. A bit on the expensive side, but well worth it if you have the taste for some excellent breakfast. I've had their lunch also. Also fabulous. Their crab cake sandwich is just delicious.

This place is obviously only suited for the occasional hotel guest that is to tired to go across the street to the new Annapolis Town Center with all it's upscale places. The ambiance and atmosphere are decent enough but unless you're sitting at the bar you could die of thirst and faint from hunger. I was there with a group of people last week (maybe about 20 of us) and not a single person asked if I wanted anything to drink or eat. To be fair, we were mostly just standing around and mingling and talking but there was a row of tables set as if we might sit down and eat or drink. Needless to say, I kept my money in my pocket and didn't order a drink or any food. Heck, I was only there for an hour and a half.

The food was excellent, especially the cream of crab soup. But at the prices charged, you would expect tablecloths, quiet music, a separate bar scene. If the restaurant could fix these, it would be five star. As it is I can only rate it three star.

I give three stars for average, or what I expect an establishment should offer. This place gets four because it was better than I expected. I tried the classic Cobb salad, twice. It was delicious, both times. I also tried the cream of crab soup, and that was pretty good too. The two breakfasts I had there were just average unfortunately. The service is not the most attentive around, but they're not malicious. I would have no issues with eating here again when I am staying at the hotel.

Last night I ordered shrimp salad in a pita bread. It was actually celery salad with a hint of shrimp and way too much Old Bay. I was a dinner guest and felt it was necessary to eat it, and I am still eating Tums to settle my stomach. I am wondering what they were masking with all of that Old Bay. The portion of celery salad was so small that it was more pita than salad...probably a good thing. The service was good and our dinner meeting was held in a very nice private room.

This place was nice but very average. I had the minestrone soup which was actually house made and a Cobb salad. Neither had any frills but the food was still good.

Tried this place because I had a coupon from restaurant.com and it earned 4 stars on TripAdvisor.com . Both me and my husband had crab cakes and to their credit, they were actually quite good. The cream of crab soup was also tasty. However, there is nothing about this establishment to differentiate it from the myriad of restaurants it competes with. Not really worth the $$ without the coupon.

Let's see. Mediocre food, inattentive service (is it a stupid dog trick to not write down the table's orders?), could not possible survive without the hotel carrying it along.
