A review of the Southbridge Subway restaurant by S.Osper. I really do enjoy Subway restaurants. There are quite a few in the area which provides you good choices for quality. This one here in Southbridge, however, is a hit-or-miss. Since I frequent this town alot, I visited this Subway a fair amount of times. The restaurant is typically clean which is good, but the staff is sort of creepy (No offense). They seem to have a few new recruits here, so maybe if you've had it bad one time it might be better the next. I'll share one experience with you. Quite awhile ago (7-8 months ago- or even longer) They had the same staff. I requested my sandwich to NOT be toasted, and voila there it is, nice and toasty. Today, I visited it (1/7/09) and it seems to be slowly improving. A little, not to much. I was greeted by a teenage worker who was nice. I ordered a new kind of sandwich (Turkey and American cheese on Italian herb and cheese, toasted, with a squirt of honey mustard) Luckily, she did it correctly. I would recommend going to Sturbridge (1 Town over-has three restaurants) Dudley (1 Town over also- has 1 restaurant- my personal favourite of the area is the one in Dudley) or Webster (Two towns over- One restaurant.) If you've had good luck here keep going- but I've you've never gone- don't bother (I will update this review if my opinions change) Spenser "Spense" O.

It seems weird to give Subway 4 stars because it's technically fast food but, whatever. This Subway always appears clean and staff seems knowledgeable. Some of them could work on their pronunciation but at the end of the visit, they were nice and made great full sandwiches. I'd like to point out that they also have high-chairs and outdoor seating.

I use to love this subway years ago... Last month or so I went with my 4 year old and all she wanted was a pickle grinder. The cheap ass behind the counter only put like 8 slices of pickles on her 6 inch grinder which hardly even covered in and charge the same exact price as if I would have got a 6 inch turkey with everything. I will never go back to that place again!

Horrible customer service!! I asked for a pepperoni pizza with two subs. Then they tell me we ran out of pepperoni when there was clearly a stack right in front of them. Then after I tell them, they proceed to make it with attitude. When I was done cashing out with my grinders. I was still waiting for my pizza sitting on the counter. I had to tell them. They skimp on veggies even when you ask for more. They mumble back in forth the whole time between eachother while making your sub. And when you leave. I normally say thank you have a nice day. And they respond by walking away or say ok. Most disrespectful subway ever!!

I had an enjoyable experience at this subway. Even though I do not care for the quality of bread or the salty meats...this restaurant provided excellent service. Appeared clean. Certainly a good value. Small ham n cheese with a 10 cookies came to about $8. AWESOME as I brought them into Brush It Off and made some FRIENDS handing out cookies

Even by the profoundly low standards of the average Subway, this one is memorably bad. There were three people working to try to make sandwiches, but there wasn't any kind of system in place. The three Sandwich Artists stumbled over each other, mumbling to the growing line of customers and nearly dropping bread every time they tried to stuff it into the oven. My sandwich came out the way I ordered it, but I had to repeat myself multiple times ("Yes, onions... yes, please add onions... yes, those onions") to make sure that the barely audible trio understood what I wanted. Sorry, Subway of Southbridge, you have sullied an otherwise pleasant town with your presence.

"I'm not sure why everyone gave subway such a bad wrap, as its just a subway sandwich shop. This is a good food quality, clean and somewhat friendly sub shop. Always, always busy and easy in and out parking. Come on people... We are talking about a corporate sandwich shop.
