Lovely romantic house by the sea. Wouldn't call it a hotel but a B&B. Owners are truly lovely and friendly. Pointed out a nice walk along the coastline into town in a way you can't miss it. We slept in the pebble beach room. What a view!!! Nice sunset, looking over the ocean. In the morning they prepare a nice breakfast with fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, cake, bread and eggs, and pancakes. Coffee is per machine which gives everybody a wide variety of flavors and let you decide how strong you'd like your coffee. Then when you're set and prepared for breakfast you can sit outside on the porch (I love porches!!!) or in the garden at the pond. Then again start enjoying. The sunrise, the nice environment and stroll a bit up and down the street afterwards... It's so lovely here. The room itself was nice and comfortable but still a star is missing as we had to shower in the bathtub. Normally that's not a big problem, but as we sere standing in the tub under the roof you have to lean sideways not to bump your head and there is no place to put the shower head. So have to keep it in your hands. So while your standing in the tub, holding the shower head, leaning sideways you also have to wash yourself. I think this is a big minus for everybody taller then 5 ft ;)

I have to admit that I have been coming, off and on, to The Seafarer since I was 23, and at 66, I have a bit of a history with this charming inn. The location is wonderful, with breathtaking views of the water from nearly every room. The rooms are "seacoast country" - charming, and provided with everything one needs - including a small refrigerator, and - did I mention views - and Chris serves a continental breakfast every morning. You can eat in the very sunny sunroom, or take your food out onto the big wraparound porch and take in the view. The present innkeepers, Chris and Beth have lived in Rockport for a number of years, but are new to the Seafarer but one can see they love their new home.

The Seafarer is a true gem beautifully located in a quiet neighborhood near Rockport shops, with gorgeous ocean views, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, charming guest rooms and yummy breakfasts. The new owners, Chris and Beth, went out of their way to accommodate my beloved Godson, his wife and their 2 sons during our recent family reunion. I was sorry we didn't have enough bedrooms here at our Rockport house until this young family showed up every morning looking happy and refreshed, and raving about the Seafarer!!! Within a day, the whole family was calling the Inn "home". They can hardly wait to come back. In the meantime, I'll be recommending the Seafarer Inn to everyone I know! Heartfelt thanks!!!!

Old house old timey feel. Birds nesting on the porch kind of place. we didn't care there was no tv. The view out the window gave all the entertainment we needed and the waves sung us to sleep
