This has been my favorite ice cream place for the longest time. It's affordable, has great flavors and really nice staff. The only downside is that there really isn't any where clean to sit. The outside seating area is usually very messy and directly in the sun. Overall the cherry dip and crunch coat toppings make this ice cream shop amazing.

I grew up eating Dandi-Lyons, it was our place to go for great soft-serve. We went for the first time this summer last week and boy were we disappointed. There must be new ownership or something? because we got absolutely robbed. The "large" soft serves are a small anywhere else. My family ordered 4 large twists in cups to go. These new larges were no bigger than your average can of soda (see pictures), for what we paid that is just ridiculous. are you kidding me Dandi-Lyons? we wont be back.

Old- school drive-up ice cream shack. A few picnic tables with lots of bugs if that is your thing. Otherwise you have to stand in a parking lot or sit in your car to eat it. Great ice cream and yogurt. They need more hard yogurt flavors though. And the ice cream sandwiches are really really really NICE.

Dandi-Lyons has been my favorite ice cream place for many, many years! Affordable prices, super friendly staff, fast moving lines, tons of flavors to choose from-just overall a great atmosphere to be in with family and friends! Also doggie bowls for any pet lovers like me.

THE place to go for ice cream especially if you want to be "seen" in Reading. ;) Lots of families here and locals. Ice cream is from Richardsons. Coffee kalulah browine rocked. Peppermint was good. Cookie dough was the most disappointing flavor ever. No dough balls! Come on. Prices ok $2.25 for a kiddie which was plenty big. They have slush and flavor burst too. Outdoor picnic tables. 3 stars because I think it's a pretty average ice cream place.

this is my go to place for ice cream in my neighborhood. Best cookie dough ice cream ever!!!!!!!! I've been going for years, always getting the cookie dough. sometimes oreo or one of the frozen yogurts or soft serve! all are great. I recently learned they use Richardson's ice cream, which shocked me cause whenever I get Richardson's somewhere other than Dandi-Lyons I don't like it. so it's hard for me to believe it's the same stuff. the people are super nice. line is always long in the summer. picnic tables if you want to sit and eat it before you go. reasonable prices too. plus sometimes my hubby will pick me up some flowers when he goes to get ice cream for us. they sell great flowers there too.

Cheap and YUMMY . I think that is all I can say . Soft Serve is as good as Carvel and the hard ice cream ( peanut butter cup) was amazing.

awesome service, line is long but quick... richardson's ice cream delicious!! owner is friendly and willing to take any customer suggestions... definitely worth a night time treat with its super cheap prices
