Used to come here for breakfast whenever I'd come up to visit my now husband. We live in San Diego now and this was the first place he wanted to go when he got back! The service is always fast and efficient, someone is always coming around for coffee refills. It definitely could use a little facelift, it's a little outdated. The prices are reasonable for decent portions and we've never gotten something we didn't like or had a problem with. I don't like when I'm on the way out and I can see them putting the toast on the plates with their bare hands, makes me wonder what else they touch. Anyways, never stopped me from coming back and definitely some good classic diner food.

Just had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. While, as always, the food was excellent, the manager may want to rethink the staffing situation on the floor. There was only one busboy and the place was PACKED; the entire time there was a line of people waiting to be sat. My sister and I sat at the counter for 15 minutes before someone cleared the dirty dishes away that were in front of us. Staff were literally walking right by us and not grabbing the dirty dishes. We had to ask a girl that seemed to be the hostess for menus. She gave us the menus, but left the dirty dishes. My sister waited forever for a coffee refill, and a waitress filled the person's cup next to her then walked away. My sister's omelet came with no home fries, which was quickly corrected. Overall the waitress and hostess had kind of an odd attitude, not too fazed that we had been waiting for 15 min with no one speaking to us. I know stuff gets crazy during a Sunday rush, because I worked at this restaurant when it first opened under the name K.P's, and later at other restaurants, but there is no efficiency during their Sunday rush. They may want to add a busboy and/or waitress.

Great breakfasts and friendly service. Directly across from Wachusett High School and next to the new fire station. Lunch looks good but I've never had it...

Perfectly fine diner breakfast. Pleasant help, quick service. Food is just what you'd expect- fresh, hot, predictable. Interesting daily specials. I'm never dissatisfied, though I wouldn't really go out of my way to get here. But if it were next door, I'd probably be a regular.

Great service. Sat right away in a Sunday morning so was a little concerned. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. However, the special menu had a lot of different looking items that seemed super interesting so if I was local I would go back. I got their homemade hash and the flavor was AWESOME. Try it! Only thing missing is I like a little texture/crunch, was a little mushy. Also to the owner. It's boring in there, add a little color :)

Haven't had breakfast here in 30 years. The hash and cheddar omelette was outstanding. Staff was efficient and pleasant. Will be back soon and often.

Finanally a Breakfast place that takes pride in the food they are serving! I am not a local but have had breakfast here twice and both times the food and service has been outstanding. The homemade hash is delicious! The home fries are done right crispy on the outside tender on the inside! There bacon and sausage are high end cuts of meat. Not all bacon is the same... And their bacon is great! The italian toast is dynamite! Try the Chinese sausage too! Eggs are cooked just the way you order them! I ordered over medium... They were perfect! Kudos again to the owner who ever he may be.....I think I will contact Diners Drive in and Dives and let them know a road trip is in order!

A delicious find! The coffee was better than typical diner fare and the omelet was beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients. The potatoes are delicious. My sister is moving to Holden and she plans on making this her Saturday morning ritual.

Great coffee-- and that's a big deal as most diner's tend to offer dishwater flavored with a bit of Java. We went around Noon on a Sunday-- it was busy but we were seated right away. It's smaller than it looks and the seats are arranged a bit oddly but the Cheese Omelet and Pancakes we got were top notch- and did I mention the coffee? Some of the specials; Mac and Cheese Omelet, Buffalo Chicken Omelet and a few other interesting sounding options. The waitress was a bit pushy, flipping my menu to the breakfast section (I didn't know they only serve breakfast on weekends) and berating the diner next to me for not wanting to take the rest of his food home. But that's kind of the charm of a diner like this. Nothing fancy-- but good solid food. I'm a fan and I'll be back.

Great food with reasonable prices. Some of the best service I have received each and every time I have been in!

This place is pretty nice. While we had to wait a long time for our food, in their defense, it was pretty busy on a weekend. The food met our expectations for a diner and we wouldn't shy away from dining there in the future, but probably wouldn't make a special trip to go there.

Its good. This was my first weekend experience here and I have something to say. They only serve breakfast on weekends...okay, I get it but check out some of the breakfast specials: meatball omelette (with marinara), turkey club omelette..need I go on. I would have much preferred the option of getting a sandwich or lunch item sans the eggs. If you are a true diner, please re-think the weekend options. Lunch is not a bad thing and if you are throwing turkey and bacon into an omelette is it really too difficult to put it in a sandwich?
