I love it!! I stopped in tonight after a lovely yelp event, I just wanted some good food and something new. Apparently they opened 3 weeks ago but have 2 other locations. I ordered almost everything from the taco menu, the lovely lady told me that it was a lot of food...well the prices were so cheap that i didn't really understand her until I got home! They make all of their food from scratch, or if they don't they do a really nice job pretending ( i think they do because ...they just do!) the tortillas taste so fresh and are so soft and supple, they are really good. Their burrito is friggin awesome, the pupusa I just heard these words from the other "this is the best pupusa I think I have ever had...ever" So ok, they are super friendly and will talk to you while your food is cooking, they deliver and their prices are really reasonable. Also, if you see something on the menu, but you want something else like it...you can basically order whatever you want. The menu will show a chicken burrito..but really ou can order chicken, beef, pork or veg. It comes with fries. The rice and beans are awesome..ok I think i want another pupusa now actually. So for all the food we got, which could easily serve 3 (or 2 fatties) it was like $18 which is really nicely priced. The nice owner told me I would be back because I will love the food...well he is correct!

One of those small time businesses that seem chill and family owned on the outside, however when you take a step inside you see the beer and wine shelf 25ft in through the front door. They have amazing breakfast ; Hispanic style, and pupusas with all the fixings that will keep you coming back. If you go in after 10 you're in for a different sketchy scene, consumed by middle age men which the establishment caters to with the waitresses outfit change. They lose a star only because I have to be mindful who I bring in with me or it could be an awkward meal. Food is on point*

Food is decent, but beware if ordering delivery. On top of the charged delivery fee at checkout, the driver demanded an extra delivery fee to get my food.

I made a mistake tonight and my wife is not speaking to me. I took my wife to Mama Blanca in East Boston. We should have turned around and left once we were greeted by the security guard who demanded to frisk and pat down every male that entered the establishment. (good thing I put my guns and knives in her purse!). We should have turned around and left when we noticed there were no (zero) women in the restaurant other than the waitresses. And this brings me to the hookers err waitresses; we should have turned around and left when we saw the attire of the wait staff. They were dressed in super short mini skirts. Zebra and leopard prints showing every bit if tits and ass you would see from a stripper prior to her show. But we are dumb or adventurous or perhaps a combo of the 2 and we got a table. We sat down and were greeted by a nice girl who took our order. Her belly button ring and tongue ring were very sexy. The top of her thong was a nice beige color as well, but I digress. We asked some questions about the menu and naturally she didn't know the answer. We finally ordered some pupusas and a couple of steak chicken shrimp combo platters. We waited for our food and listened to the blaring Spanish music. I found myself watching telemundo on the flat screen which featured some kind of Mexican drug gang drama.....which wasn't really out of place there. My wife was commenting on the waitresses dancing and making out with some patrons. I was curious enough to ask if there were beds in the back, but as the only white patron....i refrained. Dinner arrived and I would give the food a 5 out of 10. Nothing special. Not bad. My wife was disgusted with the place so she really didn't eat much. While we were waiting for our check, a fight nearly broke out, but thankfully the security guard calmed it down. Apparently the El Salvadorian men aren't very tolerant of one another. I got my check. I tried to use a gift cert and was told it was for the Everett location and they wouldn't honor it. I bitched and he finally honored it, but the bill was handwritten and they still managed to sneak an extra 5 bucks onto our tab. I just paid it. I wanted to get the hell out of there before Juan came back to shoot up the joint. Give it a try at lunch, but don't go at night unless you are from El Salvador or like to potentially get in bar fights or take home your waitress.

Shawn q is right about it all. Don't waste your time / money and let's all hope it closes soon. Such a shame too. This place used to be a great spot under different name/ownership.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
