Went once more figuring maybe I came on a bad night last time. Not only was the service just as terrible as I remember at the bar ... bartender stood in a corner of the very long bar and talked to a friend for 20-30 minutes ignoring other patrons ... this time the food was terrible. Last time it was edible, tasting more like high school cafeteria food than a restaurant's. This time it was absolutely gross and full of grease. It tasted rancid. I took two bites and pushed it away. We literally had a couple drinks here (getting two drinks from the inattentive bar staff took almost 45 minutes total time spent at the bar) and then went next door to Jasmine to get food because what we were served at Margaritagrill was so bad. Also, they have Bud on draft for $2 per glass. I ordered a Bud Light figuring it was the same brand so it must be the same price but were charged $3.50 for Bud Light draft Thats an expensive subtraction of calories. We ended up unknowing paying $1.50 more for each drink because we ordered Bud Light vs. Bud. Weird. We knew to stay away from the 'special' Margaritas because of the total lack of alchohol from the last time. How does this place stay open?

The waitress was friendly, but the dinner was not that great. However, the fried ice cream dessert was pretty good.

DON'T BOTHER! We have been here numerous times, always forgetting how terrible our meals were last time. We are not strong on Mexican food, so we tend to order Fajitas. DON'T BOTHER! I have tried them with steak, chicken and vegetarian. AWFUL! Usually you hear the sizzling sound- not here. DISAPPOINTING! The only saving grace is the FREE Pretzels, warm Tortilla Chips and Salsa (and probably the alcohol)!

We've been going every thursday for trivia which is a really good time. I've tried a lot of things on the menu now and really enjoy the chili and the tacos. Nachos are always a great bet as well. The chicken items are kind of bland but the meat is good quality. I wouldn't say this place is authentic mexican by any means, but it's a nice alternative to chilis or 99 and Auburn doesn't have many other places to go hang out and have a drink. Plus who can beat a $2 margarita??? Overall I really like this place and plan on going back a lot.

My wife would agree with the average ratings and most comments, but I like it.

Went golfing and built up a big thirst up the street at Pine Ridge, where I tore up the course, not in a god way. So we decided to go to Chucks/margaritaville for some liquid refreshment. Much like most folks who require alcohol we went directly to the bar, there I sat beerless for over 8 minutes while the two, count them two, bartenders took care of the keno junkies. I didn't even get a look in my direction by either bartender. WTF. My companion and I went elsewhere after I rightly so made a scene, needless to say I probably won't be going back anytime soon.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
