I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say so far, this is the best roast beef sandwich i have ever had. And yes i've been to nicks in Beverly and royal in East Boston/ Stoneham and even liberty bell, and all the other roast beef places. Ive never seen a super beef so packed that i need to keep it wrapped up in the package just to eat it. Also they are so consistent with a nice rare beef. no medium, nice and pink and it melts in your mouth like ice cream. i live in Woburn but i work in Amesbury a lot so when i get the chance i make sure i stop by just to get a super beef with cheese and sauce...so good! if your ever in the area i recommend that you stop in for a beef. you wont be disappointed.

I hate to give 1 star reviews.. and rarely do, but this place definitely takes the top spot as the WORST grilled chicken sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. The people were pleasant, the prices wer higher than most places with comparable menus. I got the grilled chix sandwich with lettuce pickle and cheese and a 20oz soda and it was a little less than $9.00. I got the sandwich to go and immediately opened it when I got to my car to eat on the way to where I was going. As soon as I took a bite into the saturated bun, brown oily grease dripped all over my pants and coat. Stringy fat was all over the chicken- must have been so cheap. The marinade was bad too. The sandwich was so saturated and greasy I took a few bites and threw the rest away. I have been burping all day and it's all I can taste. I told people at work and they said they have the best roast beef ever! So I must have just had the worst menu item. Man, it was gross.

late night post booze food meaty beauty before me pass on the seafood It is best for me to just plead the 5th on exactly how I ended up at Route 110... It may have involved a festival with adult beverages, some very gentlemanly po po, porter potties, and corn hole. Not sure if that's all true or in what order. All that to say, Route 110 may have saved my life. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW ROAST BEEF WAS A THING IN THE NORTHEAST! Now, I am happy to say, I have seen the light. Honestly, when I came upon this place, I was looking for some fried seafood, but how could I resist the meat when "roast beef" was in the name. ("Seafood" is so generic, am I right?) I know this place isn't Arbies, but I was taking a serious risk here. And it was a risk worth taking. Eight bucks for a humongo roast beef sandwich and pile of perfectly fried fries?!?! Will do. I still don't understand the Roast Beef and Northeast thing, but I'm glad I got to experience some of it. Even if it was in a creepy empty roadside shack. Sorry to say, my buddy who got the clams was sorely disappointed in the overall experience (expensive and not tasty). BUT with full happy bellies, we made it back to Boston safe, and with stories I would rather not repeat.

Formerly Town House of Pizza, and located across the road from Hodgie's Ice Cream. Route 110 Roast Beef & Seafood serves up roast beef sandwiches, fresh fried seafood (scallops, shrimp, clams, haddock), subs, salads, fried foods, ziti pasta dinners, dinner plates, and cold drinks. The prices here are fair for what you get, good portions, and most items are under $10. They do charge for extras on sandwiches such as cheese (.25), BBQ sauce (.25), lettuce (.15), and tomato (.15). The seafood prices have gone up ($1 surcharge imposed) and are priced in the $11-$20 range. The very tasty roast beef sandwiches are huge including the junior size ($3.95) which is stacked with very rare thinly sliced roast beef. The place has a takeout counter and table seating in the casual dining area (a bit dark). It feels like being in a saloon. HOURS: Mon-Wed: 11AM-9PM; Thu-Sat: 11AM-10PM; Sun: 12PM-9PM

Great roast beef.. Awesome onion rings.. Good salads. Prices are average, I go here more often than I should but its a great roast beef place and the staff are super friendly. That being said the interior could definatly use a little love.

After living in town for four years we decided to stop in for lunch. The parking here is horrible and it took us a bit to find a spot. After we got in I was shocked at the prices here. Even my 9 year old son said it was expensive. The order for the three of us came out to just over $31 dollars. Looking for a seat all of the tables were dirty had sticky. There were a few people behind the counter standing around while others made the food, so we just cleaned our own table. The food didnt take long to come out. Everything was ok, nothing special and I feel it was expensive for what it was. After eating I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there were no paper towels. I dont think I am going to be back here just because of the cleanliness and I have eaten food from street vendors in Korea. Bottom line is there are other places in the area I would rather spend my money on for beef.

Hubby and I get take out here about once a month because no one makes a roast beef sandwich like they do! We had it last night and the beef tasted a little tinny (like it had been stored in a metal container) but it was still good. The bread is always super fresh and buttered (that's what makes it so good) and the amount of Roast Beef even on the Jr is incredible! I get mine with onion, mayo and BBQ and it just is the best, messiest thing ever! Ohther things we've had that I can comment on: Onion rings.....homemade and lightly breaded and thin. Hubby isn't a a huge fan of them, but they're the only kind I like....crispy and lightly breaded! French Fries.....I like just their regular ones (like McDonalds) and hubby likes the cajun ones (curly with seasoning). Italian Sub....fresh bread, good amount of meat and priced right. The only thing I don't like, which is purely a personal thing, is the pickles and onions are chopped....I prefer sliced so everything doesn't fall out.

Just great roast beef. Pink and tender, fresh sliced and delicious. Prices are ok, portions are huge.

I was a fan and now I'm not! Smaller portions higher prices! Quality of food is average, but is a shadow of their formal self. I am writing this in hopes that the owners and staff get back to when they first opened. The "Big Beef" was hungry man filler.... Not now! Chicken wings small and not worth the price. Like I said I want them to return to LARGE portions for what they charge. Sorry guy's I think you lost a good customer, not sure you can win me back. I am the guy with the 3 Ferraris, remember me Peter, and the new owner? There are just too many better places in Amesbury. Amesbury has the best fast food places north of Boston..... Period!

Their chicken kabob salad & steak tip salad are awesome & the portion size is huge, along with their greek dressing (best ever actually), their chix, broccoli ziti isnt bad either. Their roast beef is out of this world!!! & their seasoned curly fries are awesome. But their Meatball sub isn't worth buying along with the always dissapointing Italian sub. I havn't tried their fried seafood yet but all in all you have to be selective in what you get here. Some of its worth it & some of its just not.

Pretty sure this place is under new ownership now. We were there last week. After we ordered we gave our debit card to pay and the guy told us it "wouldn't go through". There was plenty of money on it...but okay. So we paid in cash. When we got home later that day, we saw the transaction pending in our bank account as well. Will be calling our bank today to report this. BEWARE.
