This is my second visit to DeAngelos, my first at this location. I've ordered the lasagna and the Sicilian calzone. The food has been excellent each time. The menu offers many choices of the standard Italian fare. The children's menu servings are generous. Overall, an excellent experience.

Very good Italian restaurant with a large variety of choices. This restaurant serves calzones, salads, pastas, and other Italian specialties, as well as pizza. The desserts are also great, especially the tiramisu. The food here is reasonably priced, but not cheap. This isn't the most fantastic Italian restaurant in the Greater Baton Rouge area, but it's still pretty decent. Reservations are not necessary.

Don't be fooled by the term Pizzeria. While technically they do have pizza on the menu this is no fast food pizza joint, but a sit-down Italian resturant. They have excellent calzone's, and I'm a big fan of their salads. (get the sampler).

This restaurant is consistently good. I have yet to have a bad meal. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is always clean. It is never too busy to find a table almost right away. Despite being an Italian restaurant, they have one of the best hamburgers. Their salads are also exceptional. Their prices are always very reasonable as well. Usually have lunch menu which is a little more expensive than the dinner. There is also a fully stocked bar, where you can watch sports on their television. Bathrooms are usually clean. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a good meal at a reasonable price.

Having eaten here several times I can say that the food and service are consistent . Can't go wrong with any of the Calzones.

Attentive servers, fresh ingredients, and a relaxing atmosphere...every time. Pepperoni pizza and a Philly cheese steak sandwich were our choices today. Fan-tastic!!!

Visited Deangelos tonight with my wife. We had the mozzarella bread appetizer...how can you go wrong with bread and melted cheese?? Make that cheese mozzarella and it is even better! I had the Lucca Calzone with Wheat dough and my wife had the Florio Calzone with Wheat dough. Deangelos always has the freshest ingredients and their Calzones are always well balanced with ingredients...not too much or too little of any. We've had their pizzas several times as well and can say the same about them. I personally enjoy the Lucca because of the combination of the chicken, spinach, and roasted garlic and my wife enjoys the different variety of meats in the Florio. If you want good Italian food, especially pizza and calzones, with fresh ingredients, Deangelos is the place to go. The staff is also always friendly and come to check on you often.

Pizzas are great but do not stand up to reheating very well due to the thin crust so be prepared. Pastas are delicious. The mozzarella bread is addicting as well as the sensation salad. Corn and shrimp soup is loaded with shrimp and spiced perfectly. The ravioli appetizer is very good as well. I personally do not care for calzones anywhere but my friends have always enjoyed them here.

My salad-eating friends have raved about the sensation salad. I've enjoyed the chicken parmesan, the toasted ravioli, and the chocolate mousse dessert. The night we visited (a Thursday) was Wine Night--for $12, we got unlimited tastings of the week's featured wines. Quite a bargain, when one cocktail will often run over $12 in many places! The wines were delicious, the food was great, and the service, while not exceptional, was good.

Love, love, love this place!! This is the Italian food place to go in Prairieville! The service is always good. Everything I've ordered here is excellent! My favorite dish so far is the Shrimp Pesto Penne. It is SO good!! The Shrimp & Crawfish Diavolo is good, the pizzas are good, lasagna is good...well you get where I'm goin with this! Excellent food for sure!!

Eaten here a couple of times since I have moved to this area...both times it hasn't been my first choice...However the food is good but on the expensive side in my opinion ($10.95 for the "Rocky" Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich). The sandwich I ordered was good but underwhelming given the price charged. I was expecting for that price to have a sandwich I couldn't finish but was underwhelmed with the amount of meat on the bun and looked at it thinking "Wow, $10.95 for this!" Honestly wouldn't have eaten here if any of the other little Mom & Pop eateries between LA Hwy 74 and I-10 hasd been opened on the Sunday I stopped in. Unfortunatley they weren't so I did. Look, it's OK but it will never be my first choice or a destination as yet. There's another Italian place a few miles down the road that I want to try and if that one is one I like better then sorry DeAngelo's you will always be an afterthought in my mind. But locally I'm pretty sure the population around this area like/love this place as, just anecdotely, the parking lot always has appeared full when I've noticed on my drives by home. All I can say, since the food is good, is give it a try if in the area and decide for yourself.

I previously reviewed this restaurant 9 months ago. Very clean, slightly upscale, local Italian restaurant. 5 in our group. Artichoke dip as an appetizer, bottle of white wine, plus 2 martinis. We ordered pizza, Chicken Parmesan, Sensations salad, artichoke ravioli and chicken wrap. Our server was very attentive. Food well prepared. Served at the proper temperature. Presented well. All separate checks. Everything was perfect. Server did an excellent job. Dessert available but not ordered. Very clean, well decorated. Extra small bar to the left when you arrive. Nice experience.

First time here for a business lunch. Ordered the super deluxe calzone and it was pretty darn good! Had no issues with the place so I saw no reason to give less than 5 stars at this time. Place was clean, service was quick and friendly, and overall we had a successful lunch. May come back again if in the area and need Italian food.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
