I've been going to these guys for years. The fact that their line is always wrapped around the entire parking lot should tell you that this is the best place in town. They're very generous with the syrup and they're so cheap. Love this place!

Wedding cake with condensed milk and whipped cream. That's all you REALLY need in life! Going back very soon! (Stay away from the vanilla flavor. It wasn't good.) Less than $5 for three "kids" sized cones. MORE than enough for my husband, me, and my three year old.

So, while visiting in Lafayette and spending a hot afternoon swimming, I mentioned my craving for a snow cone. I was told that this was the best snow cone place in all of Acadiana...so good that people wait up to an hour for one. An HOUR for a snow cone?!? That is just crazy. Of course, this piqued my interest and I had to go check it out. First of all, the prices are super reasonable, but know that they only accept cash or checks. I had the Rajun Cajun flavor (naturally) and it was cool and refreshing. The ice was shaved so fine that it was "fluffy"and so delicious. It totally hit the spot. I encourage you to check out Cajun Sno on one of our many sweltering days. You'll thank yourself for it. Oh, and I only waited 5 minutes for my snow cone :)

Long lines for nothing even close to special. They don't even top the snow ball off and put WAY too much syrup.

You cannot go wrong here! Period. Wonderful snowballs! My personal fave is the wedding cake, stuffed! HEAVEN on a hot day!

Best sno balls ever. I love the ragin cajun, pinacolada, bahamama, all with cream. So good. And they are open all year round. That's right, you will find me at cajun sno in January. Its a great treat, anytime of year.

I've gone here since I was was a kid and it's still a great place to go on a hot day! Mind you, you will wait in a bit of a line and it's cash or check only.

Bahama Mama FTW!!!! I got it stuffed and it was soooo good. The line for this place is so long but totally worth it!! The sizes are super duper generous! Seriously, the kiddie size will do just fine and the prices are great too! It's located at the corner of Johnston and Guilbeau behind a building so it was hard to find at first. Awesome sno cones!!! Definitely coming back again! =))

I actually am family friends with the owner, sort of. Great snowcones. I use to go to Old Time Snow until I found this place open all year and until like 10pm.

Orange Cream Bahama Mama Blue Hawaiian Heck I don't think there is a bad combination. Make sure you get it stuffed with Ice Cream. Maybe even top it off with some condensed milk. Awesome treat for so little money. The Kiddie size is about 8oz and cost only about $1.50.

Best snocones in town. The ice is shaved sooooo... thin. So good! And even when the line is long, it moves really fast. Can't be beat.
