Well I would leave no stars but that wasn't an option so i give it one star. When you walk in there was some kind of time warp going on with a crazy lady jamming her butt off on some electric piano to something from the 1970s era or earlier. I was like "what is this? Some kind of elderly home?" I got the sesame chicken dinner w Mac n cheese n roll and let me just say one word: unbearable. How can you mess up Mac n cheese?! I had them take my dinner off the ticket and decided that im going to Make a career out of making Piccadilly as a weight loss appetite suppressing enhancer cause i lost my appetite after that for sure. Gross ! Never again.

Well, Today was the first time I had been to this restaurant since I was a baby, and I was curious to see what I had been missing for 23 years. Unfortunately...... not much. This is truly "cafeteria food" in a sense that the food is bland and you usually don't eat here unless you're dragged here or tricked into eating here. This place feels less like a restaurant and more like a dining room in a nursing home. Some of the stuff I had was okay, but the pea salad I got was spoiled (how do you NOT notice something like that?). I notified one of the waiters about the sour peas and she says that she was told about the spoiled peas earlier.... really?... well WHY THE HELL ARE YOU STILL SERVING ROTTEN PEAS? the staff seemed pretty ghetto also. The only reason i'm giving this two stars is because our waiter was actually pretty attentive and some of the food items I had were half-way decent.

Growing up I would always go with my grandparents to Piccadilly. This was my first time returning to one since they passed away. There is tons of food to choose from and all for a really low price. The quality of the food is great and it tastes delicious. There was a very long line when we entered the building but it only took us about 10 minutes to get to our table. The staff here really knows how to move a line and take care of the guests wants and needs at the same time. They do not rush you if you are unsure of what you would like but they do recommend what is best. I wish they carried Dr. Pepper but they had a good selection of Colas to choose from.

Not all Piccadilly Cafeterias are the same. They mostly have about the same middle-of-the-road entrees (my favorite is the fried catfish, or the sliced roast beef if it is rare enough). They all have mostly the same selection of pre-mixed salads and jello-salad-like options. They all have about the same over-cooked-'fresh'-vegetable options and similar breads and desserts, but this Piccadilly has something special, at least this last Wednesday they did anyway...live music at 3 in the afternoon!! I think her name was Pricilla and she was rocking a Casio keyboard like I have never seen at a Piccadilly anywhere. The playlist was clearly geared towards the older folks enjoying a super early dinner, amongst other classics she played "My Way" and "the Theme from Beaches". The crowd was absolutely loving it. She had some CDs for sale, too. It took what could have been a 2-star experience all the way up to 3 stars! Rock on Pricilla, rock on! Added bonus, two of us ate for under $12!!

The food is always good here. It is consistent, moderately priced, and delicious. I have been eating at Piccadilly since I was a kid. I have never been disappointed with their food.
