Great food, nice service, the inside felt nice and comfortable. I really enjoyed the whole experience. I thought the food was especially wonderful compared to other Chinese food that I have had in the area.

There's nothing to call home to mom about when it comes to this place. The food was OKAY. I only got a tablespoon of rice meaning they didn't even fill the one corner they put it in! I ate that in three spoonfuls! Yes it was lunch but damn can I at least get the corner filled in? And then the rice was cold, smh. The chicken was warm but the rice was cold. And let's not forget the service. He acted like he was doing me a favor! Like my money not keeping this place from shutting down. There's no curb appeal with this place and in this case take that AND USE IT! Because what you see IS WHAT YOU GET!!!!

This is one of the better kept secrets on the Westbank. Food is always prepared and fresh.... no heating lamps. Their Triple Dragon is really good. We eat there 4 times a month. Food is good and prices are reasonable.

I needed to get quick takeout today and hadn't had Chinese food for a while. I always like sauté entrees so I was impressed when I asked them to suggest something good because he asked if I wanted fried or sauté. I ended up getting the dragon dinner, which comes with shrimp, pork and chicken on top of broccoli, onion, mushrooms, cauliflower, pea pods, and water chestnuts. It came with fried rice and egg roll or a fried wonton. All of it was the best quality of Chinese I've ever had. The price was reasonable, and I got a lot of food. The only small problems I had were that the atmosphere could be a little nicer and they gave me fried rice without asking if I wanted white rice instead. It was no big deal though. Overall very happy and will be going there again when I'm in the area.

I love this place, I used to go there all the time as a kid. I live in Texas now, but every time I am back in Harvey, I always stop by for the kung bo chicken and some cho cho's!!

Yummy food and good prices. Great service! Everything is hot and made to order. The decor could be a little more updated, but overall it is a great place to eat!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
