This is a nice little place right on the road to Natural Bridge. The food was very good. We tried the bbq pork sandwich and the ribeye steak sandwich. Both were very good. The loaded mashed potatoes were delicious. But the milkshakes we had for dessert were OUTSTANDING. Hand-dipped ice cream, tons of flavors. We had the peanut butter (truly decadent) and the strawberry. If we weren't so full, we'd wanted seconds on the shakes. They were that good. The couple who run the place, Marlene and Bill, are very nice and accomodating. You feel like you are in their home. Can't wait to get back down there and try the breakfast.

This place is a real gem. We stopped for lunch after a morning of hiking and had a delicious and hearty lunch of pulled pork sandwiches with fries. All was simple but great and they were smoking the pulled pork right out back. This is a phenomenal place for families with kids. They have a cute patio overlooking a creek with little animal creatures and a koi pond on the patio. The weather was great when we were there so the patio dining was perfect. The waitress was kind, attentive and just great! Skip the chains and try this great little spot. Looked like they had an awesome breakfast menu. Look forward to returning some time for breakfast!

Pleasantly surprised with this place. Looks ordinary from the outside, but the food is far from it! We ate there 3 times over the weekend while staying in the area. All the food is fresh---from the BBQ to the hand-breaded chicken breast strips to the beer-batter onion rings. YUM! And the staff is pleasant and so accommodating. They made us feel like special friends. By far the best spot around for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Prices are reasonable, too!

A great little hole in the wall! Fantastic service! The food was made fresh and tasted delicious! We were camping in a cabin nearby and stopped in after noon but really wanted breakfast, and they graciously went ahead and made us some even though it was lunch time! The eggs, biscuits, sausage, and hash browns were amazing. We plan to come back for dinner to have some barbecue that they had been slow cooking while we were there!

This was one of our favorite stops near Natural Bridge, KY. We traveled as a family of 5 with kids ages 7-13. We enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken strips, and fries. They have a variety of BBQ sauces - sweet to spicy to choose from. We were entertained with live music by Ms. Taylor Dye (American Idol contestant). The staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor seating overlooks the river. We would recommend dining here.

Disappointed. We went for lunch at 12:15 and we were the only patrons when we arrived. Still, the service, though friendly, was extremely slow. The burgers seemed to be the best item despite the server's recommendation of pulled pork sandwiches. The pulled pork was ok but not hot or particularly flavorful. The server went through a laundry list of barbecue sauces from which we could choose and we each chose our favorite. Then inexplicably when the sandwiches arrived she brought us one bottle labeled BBQ sauce. After reading the reviews about their delicious shakes, we expected that Froggy Bottom would redeem themselves with the dessert course but after checking with the owner, the server reported that she wasn't making shakes today. If it's a special item and not offered daily, it might be a good idea to take the shakes off the menu. There are several positive reviews on this place so maybe we just caught them on an off day.
