As far as Americanized "Chinese" food goes I usually steer clear, with that said wok and roll is pretty decent. I've been here twice so far, both times the food was made sufficiently quickly. The food tasted fresh, I didn't feel the need to drown my meal in sweet and sour sauce, because it was good enough on its own. I wasn't overly impressed but certainly wasn't disappointed, this was above average as far as generic "Chinese" goes and I'll definitely be coming back in the future.

Easily the best Chinese in the Northern Kentucky area. I used to go to Chopstix all the time but this is closer and they deliver! The food quality is just as good if not honestly better. Prices are awesome as well and delivery charges are minimal.

Great addition to the neighborhood!! I had my food delivered (less than a mile from the store). The food was piping hot; everything as hot as you'd expect if you were dining in. I had a simple dish: Chicken Lo Mein. More vegetables and chicken than most restaurants serve. All ingredients where very fresh! My better half had another simple dish: Chicken Chop Suey. She was impressed as well. We both had egg rolls, and they also were fresh and delicious. We both ordered small portions and each was more than enough for a meal. (I ate all of mine, but she didn't). Both our entree's were under $5 each.

I ordered the regular sized portion of Sweet & Sour Chicken and chose steamed white rice. To say I was shocked at the large portion is an understatement. Sauce came separately which is nice. The chicken was delicious and you could tell it was fresh and hot. Everything was better than I expected which is always nice.

Order here before it's been decent. Good enough I've order several other times. Most recently got the food delivered and it came very fast. Unfortunately the quality of help that delivers the food gives free smells of Mary Jo Wana. The guy was so blitzed we told him the dog was a drug dog and follows the scent. The dude almost panicked. Any rate food is decent but thought I would post this last experience.

I hope this place gets better, but I don't think I'll be back to find out. I went for lunch. It was extremely cheap. But the Won Ton Soup was full of almost leathery Won Tons. The Kung Pao Chicken was plentiful, but had almost no taste besides the taste of the oil it was cooked in. Really a chore to eat. The staff were constantly screaming in Chinese. I'm not sure what about, because there were almost no customers. There were no condiments on the table. Only carry out packets you had to get up and get for yourself. The napkins were extremely tiny and given out one at a time. When our drink order was taken, everyone else ordered tea - which they did not have. So they ordered soft drinks, which were served warm in plastic bottles with no ice or cups. I ordered water. I was asked if I wanted bottled water and I said no. I was given a tiny styrofoam cup of lukewarm water. The whole time, I felt the staff thought that serving me was a chore they were not willing to put any effort into.

This was my first order for Wok and Roll and it will not be the last. I was sceptical because it is new to my area and some of the other local Chinese joints have been proving to be less than par. We chose delivery on a Saturday night. They quoted 30 minutes, but it arrived sooner than that. Ordered crab Rangoon, it was ok , a bit chintzy. Ordered the won ton soup, very good, full of very stuffed won tons! Next the Singapore Mei Fun, also very good, full of pork, chicken, shrimp and veggies. It wasn't as spicy as I like but I would order it again. Lastly we ordered the General Tso's Chicken, crispy still and sauce was pretty good too, again I would have wanted it spicier I guess I will ask if they would kick it up on the heat! I look forward to trying other meals there, hope they stick around.

Glad to see a new restaurant in the area. Food was good, exactly what you would expect from a typical Chinese place. We had the sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, and chicken on a stick (yum!).

Discovered this place because our usual delivery place is closed on Sundays. Couldn't believe that deliver to Edgewood! We ordered the house special lo mein, sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and crab Rangoon. The prices are pretty typical of all the chinese restaurants around this area. We were told about 50 minutes for delivery and received it in about 40. The food was worth the wait.. DELICIOUS!! Definitely going to order from them again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
