Whoa...Hearing a good friend complain about the food at La Cabana... I sent her a link to my first review. I did tell her I would go in an order the same as her. Every now and then I can understand a mess up. She went in for lunch and mentioned the taco salad was watery and had to be sent back...the next wasn't that much better and the cheese dip salsa was thin. I went in the next day for dinner at around 6:00pm. To my surprise...the salsa that I mentioned as excellent only three months prior had turned into a salty non chunky soupy mess. I ordered the cheese dip as suggested and true to her word was like warm spicy milk. It wouldn't stay on a chip. For $2.76 for a tiny bowl you would expect better. The taco salad though not watery was so full of sauces it was mushy...I found the ground beef almost too late because it wasn't layered...everything was in different piles around the taco shell. I found only about three strands of lettuce and they were soggy. Truly disappointed and in total agreement with my friend. One bad taco salad shame on them...two bad taco salads ...shame on them. With two other Mexican restaurants in town and another opening up...they better get their act together or they want be around
