About what I expected. Places like these succeed on service. I can honestly say that I've never had bad service. The girls are attentive an chatty (yes, I think strippers like me, too). They seem generally knowledgable about their beers, and I've never waited for a beer. Managers seem to be non-existent. I haven't seen on around regularly in any of my visits. Food is not great, but edible. But that's not why we come here. Fish (from the fish and chips) had great flavor, but the oil hadn't been changed in a while, so the batter tasted burnt. Fries were actually decent, especially with malt vinegar. On another visit, I had the chicken Caesar salad. Romaine was good and dressing was tasty. You could tell the croutons were straight from a bag, but few places make their own anymore. Cheese was from a Kraft shaker and a little heavy, maybe dial it down some or get fresh parm. All of that was acceptable for me. The chicken was the problem. When it came out in 5 minutes, I knew it wouldn't be fresh, yet I was still disappointed. I'm not sure how long prior to my visit it was cooked, but it was obviously precooked. Maybe in a factory, maybe at the store yesterday. Edible, but fresh chicken could have made that dish! If you're looking for scenery and great service, you should visit. If you're looking for a great mean, maybe try something else and get drinks at TK after.

Food was decent without too much of a wait, although my waitress inexplicably brought my appetizer & main course at the same time. That can't be standard practice? I went alone around 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon & the place was so noisy I could barely hear myself think, so I can't imagine trying to have a conversation if you visit with a group. Decor is exactly the sort of kitschy mix you'd expect from a place like this (posters of Irish, British & Scottish films, maps & art featuring leprechauns & other common symbols of the co-opted cultures. My waitress didn't bother to thank me for my visit, tell me about the Kilt Club or suggest I come back - she could have been busy, flaky or maybe I wasn't hot enough for her to flirt with? Who knows? Pickings are slim for Irish Americans wanting a hint of their heritage in this area & it's a shame we have to settle for waitresses whose sole connection to Irish culture might be a shamrock tattoo they have somewhere on their anatomy. Such an inauthentic experience. Nothing is real here. Not the cheesy nods to Irish culture & not the surgically enhanced waitresses (ok, one or two of them might be sporting god-given attributes). Not even their names are real. When you are greeted by your server, sorry, your "Kilt Girl," she'll write her name on your drink coaster. Last night, mine was "Kitty." That was, until she had a different name when another waitress addressed her & when I received my bill & saw a different name listed. Illusions shattered. Life devastated... I know it's key to their appeal, but consider their clientele & take a look at their Facebook posts. Pictures of their "Kilt Girls," meant to elicit comments from cretins who you're likely to find one table over on your next visit. Decent burgers, with a heaping side of superficial sexism.

Went in here on Thursday evening for a drink and ended up leaving with nothing only a few customers lots of staff we got seated right away and waitress came right over but everything downhill from there asked about happy hour which website shows they have but told none at this location then we ordered drinks and waited and waited saw them sitting at bar waiting for us but not delivered we tried to get staff attention but were ignored so after another wait we finally got up and left Told hostess on way out why we were leaving no response from her either . Worst service ever experienced in Florence area will never go back

No one was rude, but NOT ONE person was friendly or attentive. Service was awful. Food was good. It was very slow but MANY employees there. We were asked for a drink right away, as we looked at the taps he walked away...he stood 5 feet away talking to the waitresses and we had to call to get his attention 5 minutes later when he still hadn't come back (he, I'm assuming, is a manager). Then he promptly walked away again without asking us if we wanted a menu. 5 more minutes at least before we got someone's attention for a menu. Then another 10 before someone took our order. Finished our drinks before our lunch was even ordered in this very dead restaurant!! My boyfriend went back another time and had the same experience. We wont be back.

Let's face it, you don't go to this place expecting good service, food and beer. These things are, however the elements that will make a business successful. Since I was by myself, I elected to sit at the bar since the place was packed. Being required to start a tab while ordering food seemed a bit like a overly strict policy, but whatever. It is the little things that count. I ordered a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale that should be served properly in a Brandy glass. I guess they don't know that. oh well, no big deal. I ordered the Irish Dip with Sweet potato fries. Normally, when I order food, I would expect the little things... Silver wear, napkins, etc. they must be out if those things. The food arrived fairly quickly, but tasted exactly like something I would find at Arby's.. Oh well. The service is friendly. As others reported, service is slow, but that's not the reason why you came here, was it? Overall, the manager on duty should be embarrassed, but I doubt it. The place is packed, the bar is over poring, what could go wrong? I wonder if the franchisee holder ever looks at Yelp.

Service was horrible! We want during a week night when they were not slammed. We sat for 15 min waiting to just get someone to notice us to take our drink order. I got chicken tender salad and my husband got a hamburger. The food is average and nothing you can't get 20 other places in the area. We may go back to try wings, but I'm skeptical this place will make it on the merits of their food.

Service as bad, food was bad. T & A will only get this place so far. I ordered a burger, it had zero fixing on. They never asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink.

The food is absolutely disgusting heat and eat. The beer selection sucks too. I will not return.

Visited tonight around 6:00PM. Food wasn't good, but wasn't bad... just OK. The service we experienced was poor. The "Irish Dip" was a sub-par. Had to ask for refills on tea and soda. Expected better from reviews on Google+. Will not be repeating.

Im only giving this place two stars because of the scenery. The waitresses didnt seem to have a clear idea of what was going on. Hopefully that is just because they recently opened. Beer prices are ridiculous. $4.50 for a draft Budweiser isn't my idea of a deal. They are supposed to start a happy hour after the first of the year so maybe they can redeem themselves then.

Great decor and very friendly staff. Good variety of food and drink. A very loyal UK fan base! There are healthy choices for the discerning foodies, as well. I recommend this restaurant, it is kid friendly.

Come see Kelsey at the bar! Best bartender I have had in a while! She was very personable and was great about checking in to see if you needed anything. Service was prompt and she was really good about making recommendations on beer selections.

Went in on a Tuesday night around 5 pm. Pretty good crowd already. Ordered the TK irish nachos and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Very good food and service. Will definitely go back and order the irish stew which looked like a big portion and good.

Food was pretty bland. Beer and drinks were pricey, service was so-so. I couldn't believe how many people had very young children in this place....inappropriate for the under 15 crowd.....the waitress was friendly enough but I'd prefer a place with better food, more reasonable drink prices and less of a "strip club" atmosphere....there are places for that if you're into it....

Had lunch here with some friends at 3 pm on a Sunday. The food was good but the service was just OK. The waitress was in a big hurry to take our order and kept coming by every few minutes asking if we were ready. She came by several times asking if she could take away some plates while we were still eating. I don't know what the big rush was, but it was very annoying. It was like they couldn't wait for us to leave. Great beer selection but the water was wakeful and it tasted like chlorine.

Compared to all of the Kilts I have been to this one is the most wide open. They have a huge bar area that houses an equally huge drink selection. The food is the standard Kilt selection, which is to say there is nothing bad on the menu. The staff is polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Last but not least the view is terrific.

The waitress was extra attentive towards us and gave killer service. Our food was hot and yummy, which we also got rather promptly. Our burgers came out and were cooked correctly. The spinach and artichoke dip was awesome too. My Bloody Mary was one of the best ones that I've had anywhere. My husband's Guinness came out perfectly chilled and foaming. I have to say that I'll definitely be bringing my husband back here!

My first 3 star rating. It's chaos in there. I don't think anyone had any idea what section they were working. Once we got a waitress she was nice, but really busy. She tried her best to do a good job. The bus boy was the hardest worker in there. The food was ok. I had Irish stew. Wasn't enough of it in a portion. The beer was good too. 50 million TVS and can't get a single HOCKEY game. Seriously. They said they'd have it tomorrow. I'll go elsewhere next time.

Horrible experience. Sat at bar & got served right away. Then looked at menu & bartender asked if I wanted anything to eat. As I was holding menu in hand getting ready to order, she walked off & never came back. After 20 minutes, I put cash on bar to pay check & another waitress cashed me out. My buddy & I witnessed the manager or assistant manager flirting with the bartenders the entire 20 minutes while we were wanting to order. 4 bartenders and not one stopped to check on us, even when they saw our empty glasses. No training, no customer service & a clueless manager.

Pitiful service. Sat for 10 minutes before manager came up and comped us a round of beers. It wasn't even busy in there on a Monday night. He told us the b squad was working and our server would be here in a minute. We finished the beer and not one server. We got up and walked out. Sorry as hell!

Ok I'm in from out of town this place is great. Not sure why others did not rate it higher they should have. I had the chicken erb mashed potato dinner it was the best meal I've had in a long time. The girls are very nice here and the Rhinegeist beer team was first class. Try this beer you will love this micro brew it comes in many varieties so your sure to find one you like. Come here you won't regret it.
