Went to the Dr Who premiere last night. It was really fun to see people out in cosplay. Fried pickles took a bit for us to get, but the staff was busy. We tried the Dr Who themed drinks too. They were all delicious. Love the creativity they put into their "nerdy" drinks. After Dr Who, we played Mario Kart with other gamers there. If you're lookin for a place with a friendly staff and chill environment, it's here!

The food was ok.... I had the fried mushrooms, cheese fries and grandmas grilled cheese. They were out of chicken strips so we had to make a substitution. The best part was the games! Service is soso, 1 person tending to 10 different parties was kind of nerve racking but all in all its a cool spot

Really liked the video game bar idea. The reason for 3 stars is the bar watered down my drink. No good...

Finally got time to try this place out i went in not knowing really what to expect but the waitstaff were so friendly they explained everything from their games to their drinks. We had Fried pickels which were very good and stayed to play a few games on their 360. Great atmosphere would give 5 stars if their drinks Where cheaper we paid 8-9 a drink.

I love video games and I love drinking. This place is perfect for both. The food is great and the kitchen stays open pretty late. They have creative cocktails (all game themed) and shooters as well. There is also a ton of board games that I never heard of. The selection of video games is surprisingly diverse and they are sure to have the classics. All in all, this bar is one of my go-to's if I'm looking to have a good night out.

This place has good food and the drinks are great. I would give 5 stars if this video game bar had a Nintendo 64 game system. They have almost everything else! I recommend the Rainbow Road and fried mushrooms .

This is a good gamer bar. Not the greatest food. But great atmosphere. They have a lot of drink choices, and awesome couches that you can chill on while enjoying your night.

Where else can you go, where you an be a kid, but still be around adults? Headshots Grill & Bar is the place to be. It's a fun casual environment where gamers and novice/casual gamers can try out different game systems and play them for free. If you've been to Dave and Busters or Insert Coins in Vegas, this place has a similar feel to it. They serve meals and surprisingly a good selection of different beers. So if you're a beer snob, there are choices here. I came here with 2 other friends who game on a regular basis, but have never combined the two in a public social setting. Walking into the place is a very long room that is encompassed by plush furnished seating with huge LCD screens, plenty of seating for dining, and a long bar to sit at. Every screen is lit up with different games playing in loop where you can find x-box 360, ps3, and wii. The menu is your standard bar food items that are sandwiches and fried finger foods. It's fairly simple and has a few choices that the crowd its attracted would eat. I ordered the Angus burger with fries, and my friend had the fish and chips. We came in on a Wednesday night, which wasn't too busy so our food only took about 15-20 minutes. The food was nothing too impressive, but priced reasonably. The burger was topped with tomato, lettuce, sauteed onions, cheese, and a butter toasted bun. It tasted pretty good but the patty was probably a pre-made type. I think if they switched to something fresher, they could really have something. Fries were seasoned and hot and fresh. My friend's fish and chips kinda looked disappointing. For 10 dollars the dish looked pretty small and unflattering. Majority of the meals will be under $10 which is a good value. The food was okay, but I think if they worked on using some fresh ingredients and not the pre-made stuff they can be competitive in that arena. My only nitpick would be the controllers. They are gamestop branded controllers, thus the button layout will be a bit different than your stock wired controller. I did speak with the owner Ryan, and he mentioned if you have your own controller you want to bring in and use, he would be happy to accommodate anyone who brings one.

Went here with my wife on a Friday night. Upon entering Headshots we were greeted by a nice waitress who asked if we had ever been here. We had not so she went down the list of available games as well as food and drink. We took a seat at one of the tables available which had very nice coffee table and couch. I can't comment on the food at all but the beer selection was decent. A couple of tallgrass brews, boulevard wheat, angry orchard, and domestics on tap. The atmosphere was very chill with a solid 90s rock mix playing. The game selection was very good and let's be honest there is nothing else quiet like this in Wichita. No fee for any of the games is a huge plus. I saw a group of people playing all sorts of games from Super Smash Brothers to Madden football to Left4Dead. We ended up playing Mario kart wii and later switched to NBA JAM wii and Mortal Kombat on ps3. The only draw back would be that you need to ask for a staff member to change games and as another reviewer has stated the controllers are gamestop editions. I worry that people may lose interest in games there and perhaps adding some classic gaming consoles that people haven't touch in years would be great. All and all I think it's a great place for a small group to relax and play some games together.

If you enjoy video, table top, or card games this is the place to be! The food is amazing. They serve the basic bar/grill food except they make it right. All of the food tastes fantastic. Try the fried pickles! The drinks are perfectly made. When you order mixed drinks you want them made correctly, like a gin & tonic. Most bars will just fill it up with gin and splash some tonic completely destroying the drink. If I wanted a gin martini I would have order one. They know that here and that's why the drinks like the food are made right. Like my favorite drink there the Mountain Dew Mojito. The prices are LOW! The games are free to play and the food and drinks are cheap. They don't increase the prices to try and compensate for the free games. Like the food and drinks the cost of everything there is done right. So I'll end my long review by saying, if you're a fan of table top, card, or video games this is the right place to be. Side note: They let you use your own controllers. How cool is that!

They have great drink specials with a more than usual variety of beer and many different game consoles. Service was horrible! The server had an attitude from the time we walked into the door. We ask if we can put two tables together, because we have more people coming. Server's response was: "I guess...." 1) This was our first time here so we had a few questions about the drink specials. "Do they include mixed drinks? Do they include pitchers?" The server was very annoyed that he had to answer these questions. 2) We make our drink order, all but one of use ordered tapped beer. It took 20 minutes to see our drinks being made and sat on the bar for the server. 3) Our beers sat on that bar for another 15 minutes before the server brought it to us. 4) Every single one of our drink orders were wrong, our beers were warm, and the one person that ordered a mix drink tasted like the most expensive Kool-Aid anybody had ever had. 5) We ordered our food. Half of us got our food and it was COLD, not even luke warm. Small basket of cold, nasty food that we did not eat. 20 minutes go by and the second half of our party of 6 got their food. 2 of 3 of this batch of orders were wrong. 6) We told the server what was wrong and he said "Ok?". So we asked for the manager. Server response was "He's on vacation." Great drink specials. Horrible service. Warm beer. Cold Food.

This is a video gamed theme bar and grill restaurant. Atmosphere is great if you're a gamer. This is the only place in Wichita with console games as the entertainment at the restaurant. There was a good selection of Wii, 360, and PS3 games available, but didn't seem to be many PS4's or XB1's set up (I didn't mind). I ordered the Muenster burger and even though it was cooked well done, the Angus beef was still perfectly moist and flavorful and not at all dried out. The cheese was creamy and the onions crunchy. The lettuce wilted, but why lettuce should not go on a hamburger is outside the scope of this review. I got the fries as my side and they were seasoned well, hot, and crispy. I also tried the jalapeno poppers which were excellent. The service was good and the couches (where it is easy to get 4 player action going) are super comfortable and can accommodate parties from 2 to 12. There were a few players who had brought board games or card games in and their tables have room for that. There is a fairly extensive alcohol menu. All in all, this is a place I highly recommend, even if you're not a gamer and just want a bite to eat for a late night snack - check it out. I think you'll be glad you did. 4/5

Im a fan. Good beer specials, happy hour, free games. I wish the food was a little better, it kind of reminds me of stadium food but its not really a place to eat anyway. Pretty cool place.

No other bar around here offers a selection of console games. 360, Wii and PS3. I was really happy with the game choices. Drinks and food are priced reasonably and the service is quick. One of my favorite parts was the furniture, we got to sit on some of the most comfortable living room style couches ever, which made the gaming experience even better and more relaxed. The place is great for groups or bringing a couple of friends. There's something for everyone here.
