I'm pretty consistent ordering the chicken strip basket. It's always made fresh and hot. The only thing I've never understood is why a side of toast? Also got a medium Butterfinger blizzard. Delicious!

Dear DQ Employee: Here is how to make a Blizzard (properly): Step 1: grab cup fill half full of ice cream Step 2: add candies, chocolate, fruit, etc. Step 3: top off cup with more ice cream Step 4: MIX THROUGHLY!!! (the most important step!!!) Step 5: flip upside down and serve I can't even remember how many times I have had to stir and mix the toppings in myself at this location....Please never EVER forget Step 4!

I stop every so often to get some ice cream mostly for the puppy as a treat. They are always very friendly, very accurate with orders, and they always treat Vinny good, with tons of awwws and attention. He is always happy with his pup cup and I get a treat I do not need. On occasion I will get a meal. Generally this is my go to when I just want something bad for me in the food category and I get a chili cheese dog. I didn't have one today, but I like their dogs and chili. The dogs have a nice snap to them without being tough or chewy and the chili has a good mild flavor. The fries are thicker fries which are my preference, crispy outside, meaty inside. The great, always cheerful service is what pushes them to a 4 star. I have never been inside, always use the drive thru being I only go when the puppy is with me.

I love ice cream and sometimes I'm in the mood for a blizzard and sometimes I want hand dipped or frozen custard. Dairy Queen is not a bad option for if you want a blizzard type concoction for a reasonable price. They have plenty of flavor/mix in options and they even have a mini size if you just want a taste without all the guilt. I'm not a fan of much else at Dairy Queen except their ice cream cakes. Their food is really McDonald's quality at best. It's a fries and burger kinda menu. I don't know that really anyone goes here for that stuff. But their sweet treats are decent and can fill a craving. So every so often I end up here when I'm in the mood for something sweet.

Dairy Queen seems to be a dying breed of simple ice cream. Sad as I still crave my soft serves. This shop has recently upgraded the inside and out to the fancy new hot and cold logo. Servers are always teen kids, which is cool. They seem to have their smiles and enjoy serving. Even in the craziest times of too many customers want the addictive white stuff ughh... ice cream. :-) If the drive thru is long, go inside. Lots faster inside.

Good ice cream, and still the same after many years (which is good). Decent cheeseburgers too. Better than most other fast food outlets imo.
