OK, not a fan of places in malls typically, but man this place was good! Was in town visiting relatives, and was taken here for lunch. The selection of meats, veggies and sauces was really nice. Their spicy sausage was easily the most flavorful for me. Didn't try any of the seafood options, but then again, I don't eat seafood when in the midwest. The pad thai noodles were fantastic, and to be able to create your own sauces so to speak, from a multitude of options, was enjoyable. Very nice wait staff, and the grill guy was cool to talk to as well. Will come back next time am in town.

As far as the ingredients, you're free to experiment. I love piling up the cabbage and all the flavored oil, but I'd stick to the ones with ginger and garlic. The first few times I went there, the cooks were very attentive and efficient. Then one time I went there (and the place wasn't at all busy), I cringed a bit as I stood waiting for my food to be cooked. The cook was sloppy. He didn't really pay much attention to the food, so the flavors didn't get stirred in thoroughly. Also, now that I think of it, I think that although they do a rotation system and they 'rinse' the top every time they put a new pile to cook, they really should have a separate space for ingredients with shrimp, etc. I've ordered the appetizer, but it is too expensive compared to other places. I will go back when I can.

Ok, the restaurant was recommended to me by my friends and really begged my wife to go with me, since we love trying new things, and we gave it a shot. The costumer service was decent, nothing spectacular. The food selection was average but I noticed how pretty much everything is frozen. The cooks were awesome, they had good hygiene. Oh...their deserts weren't that great. The chocolate cake was trash, it was so hard and crusty. Overall it wasn't as great as my friends made it seem, tasted more than Chinese food more than Mongolian.

Terrible. The food trough featured: frozen chicken, no eggs, no shrimp, but they did make good with mislabeled squid. The place looked like a Chuck-E-Cheeses that was gutted and made a buffet. Staff were friendly and encouraged second trips to the grill. Cheesy mall location with lots of seats giving it that mini terror dome ambiance.

I wasn't too excited about a Mongolian Grill in a mall, but this place HUGELY exceeded my expectations. For one thing, their selection has a great variety of meats (beef, pork, shrimp, sausage, etc.) and vegetables. Sauces were delicious! In particular I liked the yellow curry and the Asian coconut. Definitely fun to mix sauces and flavors. Make sure to add enough sauce! There are signs saying "Add at least 5-6 scoops" around and if you don't, your food won't have enough sizzling taste. All you can eat dinner (comes with salad or soup) for only $13.99! Salad was a full plate and included Mandarin oranges, wonton bits, and a tasty dressing. Definitely going back sometime!

The best mongolian bbq I've ever been to. Out of cali, alaska, Missouri, and the Carolinas. None came close to this place

It's been about a year since I've been here when we were visiting my wife's sister in Kansas, and it was my first 'Mongolian Grill' experience. I liked it immensely and thought that the whole experience was great and delicious, my only problem is that my wife's sister moved to Virginia and the closest HuHot is about 2 states away from me... I also tried a few various 'Mongolian Grills' around our area and none could compare to HuHot.

Really enjoyed the food every visit but was shocked when I looked at nutrition information. Great web site by the way just like the restaurant you can build your own meal. Built my most current meal and was all pleased until I scrolled over to the sodium. Following the prescription at the restaurant I added the requisite oils and flavors at a rate of five ladles per bowl. A whopping 3990mg of sodium. Come on guys lets try potassium please.

Gets a 3 star instead of 4 because if you go for dinner, it is waaaay too expensive unless you're planning on eating an ungodly amount of food. I had krab rangoons and the grill with a soda, and my tab was close to $30. If you go for lunch, however, it is much less expensive and very much worth it.

It was pretty good. I would have liked more selection for the vegetables, but they made up for that by having a ridiculous number of sauces to choose from.

I've always had a good experience at this restaurant. The employees come by the table often, keep the drink filled, have the buffet stocked, and the cooks always impress. The prices are very reasonable as well, it's one of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan.
