So excited to have Spin in Lenexa! Great pizza, great salads, Sangria is awesome. I love the white. Kids love the gelato. Patio is nice in the summer.

Spin Pizza is one of our favorites. We have been going to the Olathe location. Love the atmosphere, and the food. We like to sit at the bar, it's slightly more private, we can see the pizza being made, have fast service, and everything is great! When we heard a Spin was opening in Lenexa, we were excited, because the location is much closer. The food is the same, but for us it was a huge let down not to have a bar! The bar in Olathe is a great customer experience, and we were looking forward to having the same intimate experience in Lenexa! The night we were there, most of the seating available was at a long family style table, where you were sitting next to people and their little children, and unable to have a quite glass of wine without a major distraction at your elbow or in your ears. We ended up sitting outside, but the two stars reflects the small space, and poor planning by the person who designed the new location, not the food. Revised on 9/4/2012 I just ate at Spin and they now have a bar! I'm a happy camper, and changed my rating to a 5 star location. I look forward to eating at the bar soon.

I love this place. Nice atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating. Great pizza selections. Gluten free and whole wheat crust as well as the normal "plain" crust. The menu also includes salads, soups and gelato! 3 different sangrias, a nice wine and beer selection. The servers are fun and very efficient. They usually have a couple different sports on their TVs. Really a gem.

First impressions are the most important and these people went above and beyond to make sure everything was delicious and it was . Very delicious

Pizza was nothing to jump up and down for! But the atmosphere was pretty cool. My wife ordered a Cesar salad and it came with iceberg Lettuce so she was a little disappointment but it was still good.

I love Spin for many reasons. 1. Dairy free Cheese 2. Mia Special perfect size little pizza and salad. 3. Awesome Salads 4. Evil Pinot - Great tasting pinot noir 5. Great customer service Every time we eat here we have great service from when we enter, to ordering, to the wait staff, to when we leave. The first few times we ate here, the order taker helped my husband with his questions and gave him suggestions. The wait staff is always great. The 1st time I was at this location our waitress noticed I was picking something out of my salad and asked if the salad was okay. I said I had a dairy allergy and I was just picking off some cheese that had accidentally fallen in. She said no. I will bring you a new one. Took my plate and brought me a new salad that was perfect. The people here are just great and really care.

This was my first visit to any Spin Pizza location. The restaurant was nice and clean while the service was fantastic. They had plenty of people on staff, making sure everyone was taken care of. The menu is varied and their drinks include beer and wine selections. They even have a decent gelato selection, if you're into dessert. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, which comes in their standard 12" size (there is a 6" option that comes with a half salad). The crust was delicious, the sauce to cheese ratio was solid and the pepperoni was flavorful. The pizza was greasy, which is just what I like but I know some don't. I would definitely recommend this place and location and will hopefully try a different pizza from them soon.

Ugh, tried to place an order and wanted to look at their menu online. Hands down the absolute WORST website I've visited in years. Their "FLASH WEBSITE" links didn't work and was so obnoxious I just ended up ordering from Minsky's Pizza instead.

I've eaten at this Spin location three or four times and have enjoyed the experience. I find the outdoor seating more to my liking, mainly due to the reduced noise level. The staff is average, but as usual this varies from server to server. To date I would say that one of my favorite meals is the Mini Mia with a Primavera pie and spinach salad on the side - quite tasty.

4 stars automatically for any joint that sells Milk Stout, god that is good beer. Spin is a little cookie cutterish for how much pub it gets, for a order at the counter place, the beer selection is primo. Spicy beef sando is ok, but the pizza is really what you want stick with.. Steer clear of the mozzarella/tomato sandwich.. How do you mess that up?

Ate here on a recent Saturday evening. The set up of this place is a little confusing. Menu is posted on the wall as you walk in and you place your order with the cashier before you are seated. If your not sure what you want and someone behind you does it creates a little confusion and holds up the line. After you are seated many different waiters and waitresses serve your table. So you never actually know who your server is if you need something. The pizza is very good. Tastes very fresh. Salads were good too.

Every once in a while, I like the Neapolitan style pies from here. We had recently tried a new beer that we thought would be perfect with pizza, so we opted for a couple of pies from Spin. We went with the cinque formaggia, and the roasted portobello and crimini mushroom. The pizzas were fresh out of the oven when I arrived to pick them up- even had to wait a couple minutes for one of them! Wonderful flavors that went with our wild sage beer perfectly. It'd be nice to have the option for delivery, especially given the cost. Two pizzas came to nearly $26, so it's right in line with other pizza places, but with much less of the corporate feel and flavor.

Omg, my server was so sweet. I walked in literally right as they were closing! Exceptional customer service. Keep up the good work Makayla! I'm in love with their Greek salad. I get it every time I go. Oh, I did try something new today :) their white pizza sauce. It's pretty light so, I didn't really taste anything different if that makes sense. This was my first time visiting this location and based on what I experienced today, I'll be back.

Thank you Spin for giving my dad a free gelato! Dad really had just been to the dentist and (according to Dad) was told to eat ice cream. The Pizza was great!

My experience eating at spin pizza was much different than the reviews that led me to eat there. Unlike the reviews, the customer service that I received was very unsatisfactory. I arrived at spin at 6:52 to see a long line and only one of the two cashier stands in use, after waiting around 10 minutes my friend and I both ordered a "mini mia" meal which is a salad and small pizza combo. After ordering at 7:03 we received our drinks at 7:11 which seemed like a long time after waiting in a line. Once out drinks were brought out our server quickly sat them down without introducing herself or letting us know she would be our server. While waiting for our salads we noticed the people who ordered after us had already gotten theirs. 15 minutes into our stay and we revived our pizzas, which made good time but we then notified the lady who brought us our food (who was not our intended server) that we were missing our salads, she told us she would check on them and went back to the kitchen. The salads then came with the same lady about 5 minutes later, while both of us had already started eating our pizza. We enjoyed the food but we did not see our server again until I waved her down to ask for a refill which had been empty for a few minutes. She refilled my drink and when she returned I asked for a Togo box. Upon leaving (after at least 50 minutes) we noticed what seemed to be the manager stop by the table next to us. The manager who had not visited our table the entire stay. She told the family next to us who apparently had the same issue of their salads not making it to the table before their pizza, that she was sorry for the inconvenience and offered to take all of the salads of their tab and still bring out the salads. I left the restaurant very upset that I was not approached by a manager nor offered a way of fixing the issue I had. I do not know why I was wasn't checked on but I felt very invaluable as a customer. The food was good but it was not worth the wait and the random decisions of managerial duties.

Great pizza place Super chill atmosphere, excellent service, quick and delicious pizza. They also offer a nice selection of Gelato. I didn't have room for dessert on this trip, but may stop by later to give it a try.

Best sandwiches and Greek salad. the pizza is good too. But seriously the sandwiches are hands down the best thing here. Truly a gem. Wish I would have discovered this sooner.

Some of the best gluten free pizza I've EVER had! No lie. I was so impressed with this place and how they so graciously cater to people of all types. We got a gluten free bbq chicken and pineapple pizza and gf plus dairy free pesto chicken pizza for my brother. We also got a large spinach salad. Between 4 of us, this was plenty of food! The salad was quite amazing and the pizza was the best GF I've ever had. Wish we had one of these in Dallas...

At seven o'clock on a Tuesday evening the joint was less than half-full so we had our choice of lots of tables, but not a single one of them was clean. After we had ordered and been seated for five minutes or so a server came with water and I had to ask him to please wipe down our table. Later we would ask for extra plates so we would not have to eat our pizza off of our dirty salad plates, but they never came. The staff here all seem really friendly but they completely miss on some of the basics of table service. The food here is tasty but a bit on the pricey side and a liter carafe of bulk Chianti runs $18.95. Spin is very trendy in Johnson County and they've begun to franchise the operation around the country. I'm certain they'll do well but they will have to do it without any more of my money.

Love, love, love Spin Pizza in Lenexa!! I have been to 4 others in the KC metro and the Lenexa restaurant is superior! Fast, friendly service, delicious pizza, and the Greek salad is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate! Amy does a great job meeting customers and making sure service is top notch!! Keep it up! Fan for life!!

    - Abundant selection of pizza style choices - Small shop atmosphere - Tasty! - all natural ingredients ----------------------------------- Had lunch here while visiting Kansas (from Maryland) & I must say, I'm impressed. Clearly everyone has a pizza shop

4 stars = "Yay! I'm a fan." And that I am. I thought the pizza was good. Loved the Neopolitan style crust and everything tasted great. I also, liked the inside decor and the whole "vibe" I got--which caused me to give it the 5th star. My husband and I, plus my two young children had dinner here, but it would easily be appropriate for a casual date night. Who ever chose the music that was playing (Verve Remixed), should get a raise. I liked that the menu is quite large...and I'm talking about the wine/beer/drink menu. lol The food menu is just the same--lots of choices. We plan to be regulars.

The pizzas are good! I love the gluten free crust better than the regular crust. The white pizzas are my fave! But they have a lot to choose from. Salads, sandwiches, soups. They even have vegan cheese for my lactose intolerant niece. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the wait staff. It doesn't take too long to order or even get your food, but the wait staff are not very attentive.

Okay I've been here a few times now (This applies to more than one location for SPIN) The adult grilled cheese is the best thing ever, it is certainly a simple, yet simultaneously a wow dish. I am Updating my previous review because I really loved the food in addition to the clean and inviting environment. This is now one of my new favorite places to eat.

Solid pizza - I love the lunch combo with a personal sized pizza and a salad for $6.99. The proscuitto and mushroom is my go to....it's a little salty at times but really crispy and tasty. I love the thin, brick oven crust on the pizzas. I have not tried dinner at this location but I've been to other KC locations and enjoyed dinner as well.

The food was good, personally not into "gourmet" pizza but my mom is still raving about the salad and dressing. Personally think its just too expensive for what you get.

I was happy to see this new location of SPIN! open near my workplace. There really aren't a lot of places in proximity to my workplace to go for lunch on those rare occasions when I can pull myself away. Since they have opened, I have had two separate experiences with them, one dine in and one carryout. The dine in experience went just fine. Just like all the other SPIN! locations, you wait in line and place your order and then it is brought to your table. It worked fairly efficiently as it usually does. The food is a mirror image of what you receive at all the SPIN! locations. They seem to have things pretty automated so that the food experience is replicated at each place. Some items that I like at SPIN! include their flatbreads and their salads. Salads are large servings and have nice high quality greens. The carryout experience was ok, but not great. We had called ahead a couple of hours, so they had plenty of lead time to be organized. The young lady who we first spoke to when we arrived to pick up our order was absolutely clueless. She claimed there was no order for us and asked when we had called it in. Then someone else came over and helped out. Our order was there, but it was not yet packaged to go. The first young lady then proceeded to package our stuff, but didn't know what items were what and wasn't comparing to the receipt to be sure all items were there. I had to ask her to stop and do that. Sure enough, she had missed some of our items. I'll probably frequent this location every now and then. It's definitely a great location for me and the food is reliably good and fast. I may think twice before ordering carryout from this location in the future.

While at spin, there was quite a line but they got to us very quickly. The options available are wide and amazing. Every new pizza, salad and sangria I try is so good and makes me want to come back for more.

Update: stay away from here on Monday! We finally left after standing in line for 25 minutes with only one person taking orders. Fail!

My wife absolutely loves this place. And, while I don't hate it, I can most assuredly say I don't love it. Perhaps I haven't found my dish yet? This is usually what I chalk it up to when "everybody and their cousin" seems to love a joint while I do not. The ice cream is very nice. Let that be your initial hook. You might also love the food? My guess is, at the very least, you won't hate it. There's something to be said for that, I suppose.

Spin! Bravo! I and three coworkers went for lunch. I had a Caesar salad and the Mia Pizza (pepperoni). The staff were well trained and on point. We were served by other servers as our waiter was overwhelmed by the crowd. We didn't have to wait for anything, drinks, questions, additional requests etc. The Caesar salad was fresh, the romaine crisp and the dressing delicious. My Pizza was a perfectly cooked wood fired pizza. Very flavorful. I will be back.

I love SPIN and am thrilled this location opened closer to my house. I tried a panini and it was really good but I'll be back to pizza next time. I love the spinach salad -- so good!!!!

I was utterly disappointed with the whole experience here. Literally from start to finish, it was just below standards. First of all, this location is fairly new so I'll cut some slack. When we entered and stood in line to order, there were a lot of other people who came in behind us. We had to let them go in front of us because the menu is way too big. And by too big, I mean there are too many choices. I'm just not a fan of a restaurant who thinks they can do that many items so well. Spin isn't one of them anyway. We ordered three mini pizzas so we could all try each others'. I got the artichoke and caper mini, my husband ordered a meat pizza of some kind, and our friend got the tomato and goat cheese with basil. First of all, they got our order wrong and had to redo one of the pizzas. That's fine, but it took a while for the new pizza to come out. The bottom line is that none of the pizzas were anything to rejoice about. All the toppings were averagely flavored. They didn't seem as fresh as I was expecting and I wasn't a big fan. For close to $25 for two mini pizzas and two fountain drinks, I'd rather go to Waldo pizza. So for me, this was just a lackluster experience. I did enjoy the atmosphere and I eyed some gelato. I am willing to give it another shot, but I wasn't impressed this time.

REALLY good pizza, but dont come expecting papa johns or dominos style pizza (Spin is better, AND so much better for you). There are many choices, variety of excellent ingredients to try, vegan and gluten free options, and an excellent atmosphere. Their customer service is also excellent - quick to make up for any mistakes and will give you both the wrong and the right pizza if one was made! Been here several times and carried out as well. Tip - show up earlier than told for the carry out as you'll want the pizza as fresh as possible :)

Excellent choices including feta, goat cheese and caramelized onions. Wonderful crust as well, available in wheat. Overall great place.

This place recently opened up and we thought we would give it a try since they had some gluten free stuff that my wife could eat as well. We waited in line for a good 20 minutes. There was only 4 people in front of us. Nobody seemed to have a clue what was going on and it was very disorganized. We had a young man ask us how many were in our party. It was me, my wife and 2 kids. We told him and he walked off never to be seen again. When we finally got to order, we were told there was no seating available so we could wait or sit outside. With a quick glance around the dining area, I could clearly see empty tables that needed to be cleaned off. At this point I was just ready to get our food ordered and get my family fed so we took the outside seating. MISTAKE. After being seated, we were told our waiter would come take care of us. We had multiple people come out asking around all the tables out there who had ordered what. There were other people out there that only got half their food. The other half they didn't get for about 30 minutes. We had another long wait before we got our 2 pizzas, drinks and salads. This was my first and will be my last time going to this place. Maybe they were still trying to get all their kinks worked out from being a newer place but you should have that done before you open up. As for the food. The crust of the pizza's was lame and the toppings were sparse. I'd take pizza hut over this place and I don't even like pizza hut. Stick with Minsky's or Wheat State Pizza and save yourself the headache and get a decent pizza.

Great food, great salads. Good location in proximity to work. I like that you can get a healthy salad and a mini pizza for lunch. Try it out. Lots of options. Thsi is very similar to the Punch Pizza chain I have seen in the Twin Cities., also great.

This is some kick ass pizza. All the toppings are great and the price is right. It was only $1 to open a bottle of wine that we brought.
