Stopped in after Saturday afternoon garden shopping & received great service and delicious tavern food. Light tempura breading on fried pickles and full button mushrooms left me wanting to order more. Spicy Garlic wings crispy and not heavy with overly thick breading. Definitely worth coming back for these alone! Enjoyed trying the seasonal Curious Traveler shandy - the hint of pumpkin spice is great pairing with fried foods and incoming fall weather. Super angus burger list includes a burger with a special "suicide" sauce - guessing it's more hot than an evening at Hefner's mansion with broken a/c... Healthy wraps and a whole page of salads to balance an evening's liquid calories. Looking forward to bringing friends for a crazy karaoke night or a weekend making our own fun.

Wow, complaints of discrimination aside this place just isn't very good. Huge menu, but hey trim it down and concentrate on making the food a little more tasty. Appetizers are a complete waste of time here, not to mention the attitude we received from the help. Please skip this place when considering where you might go next.

Great local bar and food. Always busy. Service is good. Drinks are cold and the food is fresh. Try the fish tacos.

We went there this evening for our first time. Very impressed.. It is a quiet/ quaint little friendly place. We noticed that all the employee's seemed to get along great, they were very friendly to the customer's.. they made us feel very welcome. Our waitress, Whitney was super nice and gave up lots of recommendations. The food was awesome and we will for sure go back. I am picky about cole slaw and their's was far better than any we have had out... My husband tasted mine and then ordered his own. We will highly recommend this to our friends.

We call it "our bar" as I'm sure many people in Westfield do. Fun atmosphere, excellent bar food with some creative genius. Generous pours. Really excellent, attentive, interesting servers. They go out of their way to make everyone feel that this is their corner bar.

Nice little place in a strip mall at the corner of 161st and Spring Mill Road. Had my first sit-down lunch at the Mill Tavern recently. I had gotten carryout lunches from there a couple of times in the past, so I knew their food was good. My meal was as tasty as any of the others and the service was O.K., too. While it's not a sports bar per se, there were several wall-mounted TVs tuned in to ESPN and the like. Nice place for lunch, but I'm not sure that I'd want to hang around there late at night -- some of the patrons looked and sounded a bit "rough". Definitely worth a try.

Stopped to grab dinner as our son was at practice nearby. We're glad we did. It also happened to be St. Patrick's day, so we got the corned beef, cabbage, and red potatoes. Simply delicious. Definitely will go back for more good good and good service!

What a pleasant surprise! Here I was, driving through Not-quite-Carmel, looking for something to eat. Everything in this neighborhood -- absolutely everything -- is one of two things: A cheesy subdivision with homes that have as much individual character as the neighborhood itself or a strip mall, which is somehow completely fascinating by comparison. To me, this is hell. I recognize that others may disagree. De gustibus non disputandum est. So you can imagine my surprise to find the Mill Tavern, with its decent beer selection and oh-so-delicious eats. I had the Golden Eagle -- crispy chicken fillet with just the right amount of wing-style-sauce and melted cheese. My companion had a burger with jack cheese and bacon and a side of truly outstanding fries. They have Sun King on tap -- which isn't as good as it could be, but far better than the Bud-ish alternatives. Too bad about the location, though.

The Mill Tavern is more than your neighborhood bar. At the Mill you not only know who's who in there, but the food is great! Far above normal bar food! By far the best Tavern on the Northside. The staff is very friendly and remembers names and drinks. After a few trips to the Mill you will start to feel at home.

Decent beer selection., "locals hang out here' atmosphere, great chicken wings. Went here a few nights ago with some friends for the 2nd time. Drink service was slow bc server was sitting talking to table of friends or customers, and we had to go to bar to get otr drinks (to dismay of bartender). Wings are fresh, just a hint of crispy, and sauces are amazing. good drink specials. Westfield residents should make this a good weeknight hangout!

Great to have a tavern in the area. Food and drink specials can be great, especially love the Bison Burger. Food overall is great and there are frequent coupons in the mailers. Caddy is an awesome bartender. I prefer sitting at the bar opposed to tables. Whenever sitting in the table area service seems especially slow and inconsistent. Plenty of televisions so can be great for games!

They have a good variety on their menu. All of the food items I have had are very good. The fries here are excellent. The servers are bartenders are all friendly and attentive. This place is great if you are looking for a comfortable, smoke-free pub where you can grab a quick bite or have a few cold ones with friends.

Overall a fairly decent bar with good staff. Their food is just greasy enough to ward away the spirits and definitely has some taste to it. I'd suggest the crab cakes or even a ruben.

Decent sized space that is over 21 only. Great after work / dinner place. Wooden walls with beer mirrors. Few high too tables near front windows. All lower eating tables opposite the bar. Bar on east wall. when bar with classic Wooden rail. Though the bar back is nothing special. Enough TVs to watch the game. Light padded seat with wooden back. L shaped 15 or so stools. The food is average average to above-average depending on what you get. Perfect for Lent with fish specials every Friday. Enough beers to make most people happy. Great, friendly service.

If the eclectic friends I've hung out at The Mill with are any indicator, it is far from discriminatory, so give this great little place the benefit of the doubt. In fact, I'd call this place extremely welcoming and diverse compared to your typical Hamilton County establishment. Anyway, The Mill has excellent pub fare. Many if not most items are fresh and homemade. Their menu is huge, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. If you like breaded mushrooms, these are the best I've ever had. Also love the horseradish cheese dip. They've got great drink specials, and a wide selection of all the latest microbrews to keep the snobs and hipsters happy. I'd describe the atmosphere as 'upscale dive bar'. It's always very clean and pleasant, but ambiance reminds me of what I'd envision a bar inside a Cracker Barrel to look like. Love that it is smoke-free since ironically, most 21+ establishments in hoity-toity Hamilton County are not despite neighboring Indianapolis banning smoking indoors a few years ago. They also have pull tabs which are always fun for a minute - won $500 once :) And hey, if you're a local, watch your mail for some nice coupons. Soccer parents: give yourselves a sanity-check, and sneak in here during an upcoming practice. You won't regret it!

The reviews were pretty misleading. The food was ok at best and I felt as though I could have made a better choice instead of driving out here. Forgettable.

Man I love this place! Friendly, clean cozy bar with pretty darn good food! I've yet to try anything I didn't like. They have a great beer selection and rotate taps pretty often. We get carry out occasionally and I love to sit at the bar and unwind with a cold brew while I wait for my to-go order. Servers and bartenders are nice and the clientele fits the mold of the neighborhoods surrounding. Stop in, kick your feet up and make this place your friendly neighborhood bar.

Several months later I'm still loving this place and upgrading it to 5 stars because they've added on to their menus and have some AMAZING food! Great beers on tap and special, great service! I had a ribeye sandwich and it was probably the best ribeye sandwich I've ever had! Perfectly cooked. Be sure to check it out!

Coworker/friend got me going here. Nice atmosphere, friendly, great service, make you feel like you belong there. Drinks are good. Need more of a Whiskey selection and would be top place. Food is good too.

As people from Saint Maria Goretti have said time and time again, this place feels like our parish bar! I have been there a couple of times with some guys from the parish, and every time I go in, I'll see someone I know from the church or our neighborhood. It's a great local Westfield bar. It's also a great place for a quick drink with friends or to watch a game. Their menu is big, and everything I have had there has tasted great. I'm glad to have a place like this so close to the house. With 3 kids, my wife and I don't get a chance to go out often, but when we do, this is a nice place to grab a beer, talk, and be close enough to home, where if the kids light something on fire, or get into the knives and cut the babysitter, we can be home in minutes!

I love the mill. Try the new millager! Hidden gem for westfield. Be prepared to wait on a table if you go on a Friday or Saturday after 6! It's worth the wait. Service is usually pretty good. Menu is pretty large compared to other pubs. Something for everyone. Fish tacos and chicken nachos are among my favorites! This is a weekly spot for me and my friends. Tons of TVs. Always playing the blackhawks games too
