    This roadhouse type steakhouse seems to have been getting better, but then gets worse again. Always hit or miss at this location. The chili has improved a lot since I started eating here. The steaks are usually cooked correctly and taste very good. The servers are hit or miss, seems best to eat at the bar, or at least in the bar section for quicker service. The other floor servers never seem to notice empty drink glasses as theyre very slow to refill them, or empty plates and customers sitting with their coats on ready to go, yet still waiting for the bill to come. So better server training is desperately needed here. Monday is the only day I have ever been served BBQ ribs that were great tasting, and it must be because Monday is the all you can eat rib day. The rest of the week it seems the ribs are over cooked, tough, wont peel off the bone, etc. So only order ribs on Mondays. Now next issue, last few Mondays I have been there and ordered all you can eat BBQ ribs it has taken them at between 12-15 minutes (yes, I time them) to bring me the next tiny plate of 3-4 bones of ribs, and even if you put in another order when they set those ribs down, its gonna be 12-15 minute wait again. Either management tells the servers to do it this way so people will get or feel fuller and not eat as much, or other servers are waiting by the window grabbing any ribs that get put there for their customers and the cooks cant keep up with the demand. But no matter what the issue, its not acceptable. Besides the rib issues, the steaks, wraps, baked potatoes, free peanuts and bread, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, are all great to eat. This roadhouse could be so much better, and I hope it doesn't get worse, as it is a nice place. Just more attentive staff, that knows to refill drinks and bring the bill in a timely manner.

    Went here for a late lunch with my massive extended family. I will say the service was better today than it has been in the past. Our server was able to keep up with the demand of our large group. I had steak and thought it was quite good and seasoned well. The broccoli was under cooked with NO seasoning and the gravy on the mashed potatoes was pure salt. I will also say that about 6 people in my party all said the peanuts were stale. The "free bread" they give you was not proofed so it was flat and rubbery. There were trays of it sitting by the front door looking they were proofing, but in the front of the restaurant by the door?! It was so hot in there, almost like the AC was broken. I really wouldn't probably go back unless someone I know is paying.

    The pictures from the restaurant that they have posted do not look like what really comes to the table... I've been going to this place for past 10 years. This place is always just mediocre. They are stingy with the bread, they ignore you if you only get water. Their menus are destroyed and fall apart. The bathrooms are always disgusting and every single seat in the restroom has been broken forever! Walls are splattered and never cleaned in restaurant. Good is just Ok. They have outdoor seating but never offer it. We had an employee Christmas gathering here and spoke to 3 different people about organizing our event and they were to order a certain brand of wine that they don't stock, not only did that not happen, they weren't ready for us and acted as they knew nothing about it when we called them that day to confirm our group and details. This place is frustrating.

    I enjoyed every bite. The food was hot and tasted very good.I got the taco salad. It was unusual but still very good. I got the cheesecake for dessert. The coffee was lovely. I will be back for sure. The waitress was pleasant and not too intrusive. There were quite a few people there. Good atmosphere, too. The Manager, Chris Romano helped me locate a lost receipt and was very patient. I appreciated his help. Super nice and very diligent. Ill be back for sure!

    We were hesitant to come here after reading the reviews, but we're from Florida and wanted to try something different. My wife and I split the 12oz texas strip which was cooked perfectly medium as we ordered it. I added the 1/2 lb ribs for $4.99. They were fall off the bone delish. Forgot to mention they bring bread to your table while seating you. A bonus for hungry people! The salad was large with homemade blue cheese dressing. The sweet potato was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent on a friday night at 7pm. Don't hesitate to eat here. It was all around great.

    Our service was excellent. Cherie was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. Food came out fast! My wife loved the rolls with cinnamon butter and liker her cheese quesodillas. I had a 16 oz prime rib that looked was better then it tasted. A bit bland but very tender. Fries average. French onion soup - good.

    Not impressed. I ordered grilled shrimp that tasted like..well..nothing. That's right..no taste..not even with the seasoning. The rice was waaay overcooked. The service was painfully slow. Entirely too overpriced for what you get. Keep truckin'..

    I ordered the large cut prime-rib rare. It came out perfectly done and tasted great. The sweet potato was good and the black bean were good. Our waiter was outstanding, the drinks were not though.

    Let's look past the worst filet ever, and the fact that their idea of medium well is probably arson in several states. The worst part of this place, and my worst restaurant experience in recent memory; this place was swarming with "in your face" houseflies. This problem seemed to be the worst in the dining room that overlooks the parking lot, but I constantly had one hand in motion to keep the flies from landing on my food, on my glass or elsewhere in the vicinity. I called the manager over to advise her of this - her response: Sorry - we know. It has been this way for several days and we have no idea where they're coming from. Mu guess - I'm sure the flies are there because the restaurant is clean and sanitary.

    Live nearby and have eaten there many times. I have had absurdly terrible service and terrible food there and I have had really good service with great food. I feel it is definitely hit and miss with them.

    I went in about a week ago, and loved it. Made me wonder why I've never been. The waitress was nice, knew everything about the menu, and since it was my first time going, I had trouble picking out what I wanted. I ended up ordering the Lemon Pepper Chicken with fries and mashed potatoes. Was amazingly good. When we first got to our table, someone put rolls on our table as soon as we sat down. Awesome because we were hungry. Great Service, great food, great restaurant. Highly recommend.

    This is a great steakhouse for this little old town of Shelbyville there fillet mignon was perfect service great good menu selection I have ate there 5 times every time was good pay no attention to these bad reviews that are wrong ............ And there's peanuts

    The servers really need to learn the beers and the menu. Ugh. The food was good. We liked the rustic atmosphere. However, servers were sweeping and closing down the section around us and it was before closing time! Totally felt rushed. :(
