Here I enjoy the soups of chicken jumbo and black bean. The basket of bread is so sweet and the cinnamon butter calms my nerves and chills my bones. The Mason glasses are very cool and its so nice and quiet there in the mid day. Oh and I wrote this review only to add that the cut up carrot bits in the raw were the best thing to find in the black been soup. Thank you! What a cool surprise and a nice touch of uniqueness. Although I wasn't happy that I didn't get cinnomon butter to go, the sweet bread was more than enough. This saloon is rocketing to the moon!

Worst meal EVER. Ordered 9oz filet, which came out in 3 small pieces. Ordered blue cheese for steak, which did not receive . Sent steak back for blue cheese, came back seconds later....ICE COLD. Hubby ordered steak charred on outside, also sent back. Will NEVER EVER eat here again.

For the second Monday in a row I took advantage of the "all-you-can-eat" rib special and the 75 cent draft beers. I walked in with my eyes bigger than my stomach because all I could eat was three servings. These ribs were delicious, falling off the bone and VERY meaty. I suggest that if you're looking for a "Vegan Menu" you go somewhere else. I plan on going EVERY Monday until I burn myself out.

There aren't really any vegetarian entrees here, but you can easily make a meal out of appetizers. The serving sizes are large and the prices are low. Plus, every table comes with a bucket of peanuts to munch 0n and a basket of bread with cinnamon butter is included. Love that cinnamon butter! My brother loves this place, and he got a huge glass of beer for like $5 - so that will definitely keep him coming back. This restaurant is huge, and the decor definitely sticks with the western theme.

We did a mini road trip to Indiana, over the weekend, and decided to stop here for dinner. I was in the mood for a steak of some sort. When you walk in, it's similar to a Lone Star or Texas Roadhouse in decor and menu offerings. They have shelled peanuts on the table, so if you have allergies, stay away. Ryan, our server, was excellent! Very friendly, funny, helpful and quick. I ordered the 10 oz, Prime Rib. I should have taken a picture of it. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out more medium well. I decided not to say anything about it. Even though I prefer it medium rare, I don't mind it over done, either. Maybe because it was cooked more than what I'm used to, it didn't look as appetizing, but the flavor, consistency and the au jus were good and it had very little fat. Got a baked potato with it, which was nothing special. So service was excellent, food was good, but nothing to write home about. What I will mention is their bathrooms are pretty jacked up. Not only are the stalls small and you have to back up and straddle the toilet seat in order to open and close the door, but when you wash your hands, you have to go back around by the stalls to throw out your paper towel from drying your hands. If there is one other person in the bathroom with you, (which it's a 3 stall bathroom) you're going to be doing a dance with them as you wash and dry your hands. Really awkward bathroom. I'll hold it next time.. but seeing as I don't live near this restaurant, I probably won't be going back, just due to distance. But if you're reading this, I say give it a try if you're looking for a decent dinner but don't need your socks blown off.

I don't even know where to begin. Let's start with the "friendly" service which can be described using one word....lazy. The appetizer had plastic melted into the cheese. Ew. The steak was over cooked and had ZERO flavor. NEVER AGAIN.

Have had lunch here twice, and both times were very good. I enjoy the atmosphere with the peanuts to shell and munch at the table, but am not always ready for a hot roll the moment I sit down. The food was quite tasty and nicely cooked. It's nice to get a country-fried steak that is what it purports to be!

So you order a 9 oz filet mignon and get 3 little 3oz steaks... WTF? Some Lettuce in Salad was brown and "squishy" as described by bartender who was receptive to the feedback when I pointed it out and a little bewildered when I asked about the steak patties I received as a 9oz filet. Yeah - I ordered a 9oz steak and got 3 - 3oz "medallions". Prices were cheap... At least you get what you pay for. Won't be back. Definitely do not confuse with Texas Roadhouse!! Nice building and signage.... But you can only put lipstick on a pig and fool somebody once. I did not ask for any "fix" and none was offered .... Clueless.

Disgusting ! Started with the blooming onion, it was cut so thick that the onion was crunchy...I ordered the Louisiana shrimp and ribs.first of all the membrane was still on the ribs and they had a really strange taste. .the "jumbo"shrimp was all breading..and had no flavor...they brought me a new set of ribs and they were worse than the first. Basically everything tasted like it had been frozen . The manager did take my meal off the check, so that was the only good thing about our outing.

Me my daughter and her husband ordered salmon dinner, country stake and steak with shrimp fajita dinners. My son was eating his fajita with taco bread and noticed a hairy piece of meat wrapped with some lint ! I immediately reported this to the manager and we did not eat any of the food after we discovered this. They apologized and gave us some free dinner cards. I did not want any parts of ever eating there!

Came here with my sister after some shopping. We got there almost when they were closing. Our waitress (Brandi) was awesome. So friendly. This is my first time here, but my sisters been there a few times. They served us some rolls and they have this like sweet spread for it or butter. The spread was good, but not sure I really liked it with the roll. Tea - My sister likes it. Long Island Iced Tea - I thought it was good. Didn't have strong liquor taste, but I did feel the liquor. Chicken Dumpling Soup - It was a bit cold (granted we went close to closing time). I'm also not a big soup fan. Buffalo Shrimp with Baked Sweet Potato - My sister liked it, I thought it was ok. Had quite a bit of kick to it. Texas Roasted Chicken - BBQ - I ordered this. Originally looking at it, I thought it was just some chicken they poured BBQ sauce over, but it was so much more. The chicken was moist and the BBQ sauce was good. Had good flavor and a kick. I love how the chicken had this smoky flavor to it. It was good just on it's own. I thought the mashed potatoes was good, but nothing special. We both had like half of our entrees left and packed it to go. We were both joking about we going to enjoy it later. Ha! guess what? We didn't even get any. I just watched my mom kill my chicken and mashed potatoes. My brother ate my sisters. I'll definitely go back again though it's quite a drive, but when I head by Indiana again. Great service as we had a bit of a problem, but they handled it way better than we expected!

We were just here and my husband raves about the bread and cinnamon butter, which I'm not a big fan of. Our waitress, Jennifer was really nice and sweet. Everyone there was in good spirits (for being the eve of Christmas Eve) and having a fun time with each other and their customers. My husband got the prime rib and fries (with salad) and he loved it. He said it was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms tasted great. I had The Dip (Italian beef sandwich) and fries. It was really good (the bread had the perfect amount of crunch to it.) And I love the raspberry tea. It's really clean, the service is fast and accurate and the prices are good for two people. We'll be back.

Great Fried Shrimp!!! In the past my family would eat here all the time, graduations, mothers day, fathers day, birthdays...you name the occasion we ate here. I guess after awhile the folks got tired of this place so I've only eaten here twice within the past two years. They have a diverse menu, reasonable prices and good food. Only two things that annoy me, well only one for me and one for my boyfriend. So thru out the restaurant they have huge barrels of peanuts, they encourage the patrons to indulge in the peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. I think its kinda cool, especially if you have a whole lot of kids (which we don't have, but my god kids love it), it will definitely keep them entertained. However, my boyfriend isn't thrilled with the whole peanut thing. My only little thing is that i asked for fruit punch with my meal. Thinking i was getting Hawaiian punch or something like it, I mention to my bf that it tastes like Kool-aid. Well we get our receipt and lo and behold it says "Fruit Punch Kool-aid"!!!!!!! So hilarious. I wasn't upset i thought it was so funny. Just next time I would like to know that I'm paying for kool aid and not the real thing :)

This place has gone to the dogs in the last year or 2. The management has changed and the quality of the food has declined. I've gone from eating here once a week to once a year. I go back just to see if they've straightened things out but have so far been disappointed.

Went here for dinner with the family. First off, the place was really busy which is usually a good sign. This is almost identical to any Texas Roadhouse type of restaurant. They have buckets of peanuts that you can eat and throw the shells on the floor. When you are seated, you also get a basket of hot sweet bread with cinnamon butter. Those two together are great - maybe the best part of the dinner. Additionally, they serve you soda in biog mason jars which is a nice touch. The atmosphere is nice. Its cozy. Definitely not fancy, but nice for a family dinner. The food was average to below average. It's really nothing special. They have steaks and ribs, etc. The food was nothing spectacular though. The prices reflect that - very very reasonable with nothing that I can remember being over $20. The service was the biggest downside to our experience. Our server was ridiculously inattentive. She didn't get us anything we asked for and never cleared a plate. We still had salad plates all over the table when our dinner was brought out by another person. She was quite bad - it was as if we were forgotten. If our service had been better, this would have gotten one more stars for the nice atmosphere and the cheap food. It was just horrible service. I would still recommend it. Hopefully you don't get stuck with our server.

I cannot get enough of the bread and cinnamon butter they serve and the baked sweet potatoes. Reasonable prices, the service can be a little better, and the food is largely proportioned. The drinks they serve in the glass jugs are smart because you rarely need a refill. I just didn't have the nerve to throw my peanut shells on the floor, like they request, my mom didn't raise a slob (LOL).

I know this might sound like a crazy review for a restaurant like this but they have great salad. The lettuce is always fresh and the tomatoes always taste great! I don't know how they do it but whenever I want a tasty, fresh salad - this is the place I go!

haha! Yes! Throw the shells on the floor! I love it here, and don't understand why anyone would be put off by peanut shells on the floor, unless they plan on eating off of it =D The steaks are usually pretty good, the soft drinks are huge. However, for the price I could get better steak.

My boyfriend and I went here thinking the food would be great, but it was so blah! The only thing we liked about this place was the jugs they give for your drinks, that's it. We are never going here again.

This place might be really awesome to you or it might be totally disgusting to you. Why? Well, because they give you peanuts, and they encourage you to throw the shells all over the floor. I'm not exaggerating here either, there's peanuts everywhere, all over the floor of the restaurant. I think that's supposed to give it the home feel of Texas, like a Texas bar or something, but I'm not sure. Now, I remember thinking that it was awesome that you could throw something on the floor in a restaurant without getting reprimanded or kicked out. I've had two different people tell me though, that they think that's really gross that there's shells on the floor. So, it's not ideal in everyone's eyes, but it's kind of like a trademark thing there I think, so I don't know. The food is good, I don't recall it being anything special, but I remember liking it, and being full when I left. They mainly have steaks and burgers. I love peanuts though so I ate alot of those.
