This is one of my favorite places for date nights for my me and my wife to go. The food is delicious. Love the Scotch eggs, artichoke dip, sandwiches, pesto salad, and the pizza is very good also! A laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and a good beer selection make this place one of the best hidden gems in town.

The slowest possible chef. They have one employee which works the bar, serves the food, and takes your order. (She was nice and tried her best though) But Especially if you are with a group of more than two people. Ordered the food and it took over 35 minutes to get our apps. We would have left but we were so damn hungry after waiting so long that we decided to stay. Food was served cold.

I love this bar. The sandwiches are delicious. I'm such a sandwich girl! The staff are really friendly. The wine list is good and of course they have craft beer. So there's that too. It's just a really friendly fun place with excellent sandwiches. I love the artichoke sandwich. I have them leave the mushrooms off- too rich of a combo for me- and they put turkey on. So yummy!

A revamped menu and the food is excellent.... Extremely friendly service, awesome craft beers, and to anyone that was keeping their distance due to the smoking... It is NON smoking now. A hidden gem at the Grape/Cleveland intersection.

Originally, we had been planning on going to the original Mishawaka brewing co for some yum-o beer but we found out while looking for the place that it closed and relocated BUT that the Pub serves their beer fresh daily. I'm game. I got the INDIAna Pale Ale... which I thought was okay... not my fave, though. I wish I would have known about their seasonal beers before ordering because I would've totally hopped on that pumpkin ale for the season. My BF got their 4 horsemen Irish Stout... if memory serves me right, and I liked his choice much better. For an app we got a bread loaf and cheese keg... it was basically just bread with easy cheese in a little souffle cup. Wah, wah... I still scarfed it down though. For dinner I got their veggie sandwich, which was pretty good. You can pretty much put any veggies and the kitchen sink on it for $5.95... not a bad deal at all and pretty damn good. The crowd is... interesting... if you go, you'd totally see what I'm getting at. The decor is identical to any suburban Dad's basement bar (that he built himself) with a bit of a sports theme. Ooh... and the best part is actually something that I didn't witness for myself but my BF did. There's a game int he men's urinals where you can try to see if you pee more than hillbilly uncle Jeb (the game's mascot). So you pee into the urinal and it measures how much you've got and scores you. If you've peed more than anyone else who peed in that urinal for the day, you get to put your initial in. It's like a video game but with wieners... ultimate sword fighter, if you will. If I were a guy, I'd be back here every day for the pee game.

SO I wasn't sure if this place was actually open or not, but I figured it was close enough to work to give it a try. It looked like we were going to have an issue getting seating as the parking lot was mostly full and it looked like a small place. The place is a bit bigger than the amount of parking spots would have you believe, although it is small for a pub. A medium size center bar is surrounded by about 12 to 16 tables that could fit between 4 and 6 comfortably and 8 if they had to. Unfortunately the urinal game the previous yelper mentioned is not there any more; for some weird reason I actually was looking forward to it. Most of the action seemed to be at the main bar with all those seats filled so we chose a table. The crowd seemed to be mostly regulars and in the middle age crowd range. The service was a bit spotty, but I attribute that to the fact there was only one bar tender/waitress and the regulars were keeping her occupied. We also went to try and catch up and I was sad to say because of the game they were a bit louder than our friends had told us they would, but I can't hold that against the place we kind of expected that anywhere we went. They had an impressive list of draft beers, it seemed to be about 4 seasonal (pumpkin beers ugh) and about 5 or 6 regular microbrew drafts that were from great roots. Because of the spotty service we decided to get a bucket so we didn't get to try the great selection of drafts mainly b/c we didn't want to have to wait to long to get a refill. We also were a bit hungry so we tried a sub, which we had heard were great both here and from friends. And let me tell you the sub was fantastic we split a corned beef rueben toasted with a side of fries. It was a great sub.....just damn great sub. I am sure nothing was fresh, but the toppings and fillings were decent quality and weren't skimped, but at the same time not over topped with the cheap stuff (the kraut usually overloads a rueben because it is cheaper than the meat, but this seemed like a good ratio or kraut to beef). The fries were disappointing, those cheap fries you can buy at Wal-mart for 2 bucks a bag. As far as the food goes if I could tell them to change one thing it would be to go with a good fresh cut fry. For the overall review: the service and crowd gets them one and a half stars and the subs(don't know about the other food didn't see anything other than subs leaving the kitchen) 2 stars. The bucket price nets them half a star: 10 bucks for a bucket of 5 which seems to be better than the average of 12 to 15 around here. The end result this will be our go to place for bars/pubs if we are in the mood for food aswell.

Painful. And, what a coincidence--a friend mentioned to the waitress that someone they both knew had had a stroke. When we mentioned the food was taking a long time to come out, the waitress said they were dealing with a new cook as the old one had a stroke. We almost left as the food took so long to get to the table. One of the things we ordered was pita bread and hummas --- how hard is that to get out quickly from the kitchen?
