Best General Tso's I've found in Fishers. Service is fast and efficient, if not overly friendly. I have grown to like ordering from them on the phone...no wasted words. *answers* "China Wok" Me: I'd like an order for carry out CW: ok Me: Large general tso with white rice CW: anything else? Me: no thank you CW: phone number? Me: ***-**** CW: thanks *click* Order up and hang up, food will be ready in 10-15 min. Thank you very much!

This was a nice experience. Cheap, good Chinese food. The staff is nice, they make your food quickly, and it is a top choice of mine for Chinese takeout places. They have a dining area, but it seems 99% of their business is takeout. Regardless, this is going to be my go-to Chinese food place in fishers. Easily the best around.

My family has tried all of the area Chinese restaurants and this is our favorite. China Wok is a family owned business that makes great food. The quality and freshness of the ingredients make the food great. It's the only Chinese restaurant we go to now. They have the best egg rolls.

I usually never eat or order takeout at Chinese places like this one, but I wanted to feed the kids a warm meal without dragging them through the grocery store, back home, cook and have them emptied the fridge by the time I would have served dinner. But this place is worth doing all the above and stick to my "never" policy. Not only are they extremely unfriendly, which is normal I guess for these places, the food they cook is disgusting. The Orange chicken is the worst I've ever had. The meat is bathing in a gooey sauce, that has never seen a real orange and the meat tasted awful, more like nothing. All my kids ate was the white rice with soy sauce. I know I spoil them with me homemade cooking but I also like to get a break from time to time. I've ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, and I couldn't swallow any more, after the first bite. Tons of uncooked celery, a few cashews, chicken that tasted like nothing again and all covered in a sauce that had nothing to do with Kung Pao at all.Worst of all was the Vegetable Spring Roll, that was on my plate. It was fried in old, very old oil and tasted like a shortcake cookie that you leave in an open jar standing around for about a year. If you like this food, you can not have any taste buds, but most people don't care what they put into their bodies, so I totally get all the good reviews and it doesn't surprise me.

After ordering food from them ordering a common menu item egg foo young they left out the sauce a prime ingredient . They then told me to come drive 10 min back to the location so food could be cold . They did not even offer compensation for time or there mistake . Clearly if you do order food make sure you check it before you leave or they won't refund you . Clearly my last visit to this establishment

Though not the worst Chinese food I've ever had, my dinner from China Wok left a lot to be desired. The food was overcooked and the sauces were a little bit goopy. None of us finished our entire meals. We probably won't be back as we greatly prefer many of the other Chinese take-out places in the area.

I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein and crab Rangoon. The food was definitely fresh, and cooked to order. It also didn't taste like it was cooked in burned grease. The Mongolian beef was very tender and flavorful. No beef jerky slathered in soy sauce over here! The shrimp fried rice was decent, and did not taste burned - which seems to be a common culinary problem with Chinese take out, in my experience. The lo mein was the only thing I did not care for. It had very little flavor. The crab ragoon were BOMB! BOOM! Very "crabby, " and not over fried. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been going to China Wok for 10+ years now. Far and away the best Chinese takeout in town. If I ever move out of Fishers I'm still coming back here.

They have great chinese food. They're usually fast and good about getting orders done quickly but they get busy during dinner time so expect some waiting time. Its cheap and good chinese food, a lot less greasy than a lot of other places. And they seriously have the best chicken lo mein and orange chicken! I go here for lunch a lot because they have specials. I usually get general tso's chicken with lo mein on the side. its like $1 extra but my lunch only comes out to about $6 dollars with that. They give you a large portion.

First time visiting this restaurant and the experience was wonderful. Our visit to the restaurant was notable because of the clean establishment and exceptionally friendly service. Our take out order of over 7 different entrees was completed in a timely manner, and the lady who was taking care of our order threw in a few specials (like soups and an entire order of General Tso's), that we didn't even know about, for free! When we got home and opened our dishes we were incredibly impressed! The food was hot and obviously prepared fresh! The fried rice was cooked well and did not have that strange oily taste that is sometimes accompanied with this dish. The chicken was juicy and actually tasted like chicken, the beef and broccoli was tender with fresh steamed broccoli, and the shrimp dishes featured large, perfectly cooked shrimp. No strange, chewy, "mystery" meats or un-welcomed seasonings in any of our dishes! We were VERY satisfied and can't wait to enjoy them again!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
