The servers are very friendly and are attentive. The food is fabulous. Normally I am afraid to try specials but so far I have ventured to try them here and they are fantastic. They also have excellent seasonal dishes. I can't wait to try their after hours beverages.

I love the fact that 4th St is now smoke free. The patio that is encloseable also adds a lot to the atmosphere and dining experience. The food and drinks are good, however the service can sometimes be a tad iffy. Try the long islands and the white sangria, both excellent choices if you are wanting something a little more sweet. I have yet to eat something that I did not enjoy here. The veggie burger is amazing and so far, the best I've had in Columbus. It's not just a frozen patty that you could pick up at the grocery. And if it is, they do a good job disguising it! Definitely suggest this for anyone wanting great food, good drinks, and depending on the weather, a nice patio.

After visiting the Columbus Bar, we decided to stop in here and try it. I was blown away about the interior of it. It was a truly beautiful looking bar with the nicer shiny wood for the bar and the cool backdrop against the bar. We got some whiskey and sprites and a few shots here. The people here were very friendly once again. I think this would be a place that I would consider to be a "hot first date" place. The atmosphere is very welcoming and almost kind of romantic with the perfect amount of low lighting to fill up the place.

A good friend wanted to get a beer after work and this is the best place to go ...except for the fact that I ended up drinking 3 beers and getting their vegetarian nachos. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good music even when the jukebox is on autopilot, delicious food and cold beer. You can't go wrong. Get you some!

Had a nice dinner with my wife on the patio. Laura was our server and did a great job. I had the Mahi Tacos and Bonnie had the chicken wrap.

As much as I like 4th Street I'm afraid something has changed in the kitchen and it's not a good change. Last two meals here have just not been up to par. Tonight I tried the ravioli special and to be honest it was awful. The pasta was actually white and dry in the middle.

Great good and drinks all around. Very nice staff and one of the top 3 hang out spots in Columbus. I have only had good experiences here. Their chicken wings are awesome too!

Felt like I was stepping in to my hometown of Union City, IN with the uber-local, you're-not-from-around-these-parts look we received by the clintele after walking in the door. However, I didn't mind it one bit - in an odd way, it was charming. Unlike Union City, 4th Street's menu offers a little more to be desired with creative and veggie-friendly options like sweet potato fries with maple syrup bacon dip and Thai vegetarian wraps on the menu. Don't get me wrong, they also have a stash of bar food classics like burgers and fries to choose from as well. Let's talk about those sweet potato fries with sin dip, shall we? I',m not exactly sure how the dip was made - I'd hate to know actually, but if you're a fan of sweet and savory like moi, this is the side or appetizer for you. -bar specials throughout the week -live entertainment on Fridays and (Saturdays, I do believe) -handy phone charging station at each booth (don't mind if I do) -within walking distance to all of the downtown Columbus shops and especially, Architects Avenue/Irwin Inn Hope my next visit includes some live entertainment.

Love the Alaskan Fish Sandwich with the handcut fries. The only thing that puts me off is the whole place is a smoking area restaurant. Otherwise, I'd love to come back for the food without having my clothes smell different after a meal.

Great Columbus classic. Great drink prices, great bar food and a favorite for many locals. Only place downtown with a juke box and usually a weekly live show. Only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars from me is the smoke. It is bad.. No ventilation and low ceilings. Take it outside and business will boom!!

had an amazing time here at 4th st. Met some great people. Drinks are mixed perfectly. Prices are about average for drinks. The band was really good. All in all it was a great experience all around. I suggest this bar if you are wanting just to hang back and enjoy some hometown friendliness. Will definitely go back.

Really good bar. Good food; a step beyond bar food and great, friendly bartenders and wait staff. Nice quiet conversation bar on most weeknights and the place everyone goes on the weekend. If you're spending time in Columbus, this is definitely a place to check out.

Stopped by 4th Street Bar for an early dinner and drinks when working in Columbus this week. It was a beautiful, sunny, mild July afternoon and the patio was just too inviting to pass up. Started with a perfect margarita on the rocks that was so good I couldn't say no to a second. Upon our server's recommendation that the burgers were the best he'd ever had, I was sold pretty quick on the 4th St. Burger. Ordered it medium rare but got it closer to medium. That difference would have made it go from fantastic to stellar for me. The hand cut fries I snuck from my boyfriend's plate were delicious but I had no regrets upgrading my side to sweet potato fries. They were thin, sweet, crispy, and salty. I was expecting to love the maple sauce that came with them but I loved them plain. As if I wasn't stuffed enough, we split the donut holes with salted caramel. Glad I found a bit more room because they were great! The service was friendly and efficient. The prices were also fantastic for those of us use to Indy prices. I think the best part was sitting under the fans on the patio which was comfortable and provided great people watching. Highly recommend!

We usually love coming to this bar while out downtown. Tonight was a different experience. We were waited on when we walked in the door, then never received our drinks. When I looked over and said "wow we hasn't received our drinks yet, the owner walked over and immediately brought us the drinks we ordered. She was fabulous. Even went on to clean our tables. After that we sat there for quite some time and had called a taxi to get picked up. Our waitress had not been back, so I went to the bar to pay our tab. Paid then asked for a water. As we were waiting for our water the taxi showed up so I went to the bar to tell them not to waste the water because we were leaving and I had three people yell at me that I DIDNT pay our tab. I had left a tip on the table earlier as well. Even after I said I had paid the bartender, two guys that were sitting with the owner contributed to yell at me. I have never NOT paid a tab and will not be accused of it when I pay and even leave a tip for a shitty waitress. This place will not be getting my service from now on due to having rude staff. Thank you to the owner though for treating people the way they should be treated!

This place was ok. It seemed like everyone here knew each other, so if you live here you've probably either are ready been here or you just moved here and will go here soon enough. It was a very solid 3-star place. It's location is really great. If you feel like hopping around, it's within walking distance to several other bars. It's a good place to start if you're new to Columbus and see where the night takes you from there.
