Red Mango has a solid offering of frozen yogurts, but I have two complaints: 1. The hypotonic fruit toppings (namely the pineapple) are saturated in water to increase their weight and ultimately your bill. If my eyes would have been closed while scooping the pineapple I would have thought I had a spoonful of depleted uranium it was so heavy. 2. The scale, which is already exacerbated by the toppings, needs to be calibrated by the Dept of Weights and Measures so you're not paying double for your $0.69/ounce tap water saturated pineapple chunks. But hey, the frozen yogurt is great (I can't stress that enough).

HAY GUESS WHAT?! Red Mango is really good so that's why there's always a ton of people there. I remember when it first crammed itself into the forgettably named shopping plaza that contains Lennie's/BBC. I was pissed because I sensed my high-speed in & out visits to Subway to pick up lunch would be inconvenienced by Red Mango-ey people. Then I won a gift card. All the other raffle contestants sort of glared at me, and I began to think that this place might just have it's merits. Fro-yo, yo. So months later, when I was finally moved to feed my sweet-tooth (which it turns out is actually a cavity) and I cussed the card into coming out of hiding, I was tickled to find that this is a self-serve frozen yogurt place. I guess they have other things, like parfaits and smoothies, but who gives a shit when there there's a fixin's buffet beckoning? Even though I've tasted all the frozen yogurts at this point (faves: pineapple, dark chocolate, pomegranate, regular) I like to get a sample each time. The topping bar is always well-stocked and mind-blowing: I'm still discovering new things (e.g. graham cracker dust). I like paying by weight because it gives me a sense of control. And my anxiety that one day I'll have a two pound cup of frozen yogurt and the cashier will judge me keeps me shamed into taking it easy on the portions. Did I mention it's pretty cheap, too? I can get a cup with a generous amount of yogurt and heavy toppings like walnuts and fruit for about $3.50. Pair it with a flick at the IU Cinema for a frugal date that's packing an extra serving of cultural capital (and air-conditioning -- better cuddle up, boo boos).

Love this place. Red mango is my guilty pleasure, and I've turned all my friends onto it. I think they have one of the best original tart flavors out there, and I like to pair it with a heavy helping of pomegranate fro-yo and fresh strawberries and kiwis. They have two sizes of cups which are both quite large but since it's pay-per-oz it doesn't much matter anyway. You can sample any of the fro-yo flavors at your convenience, and they also have smoothies and other goodies available to order. The only con I can think of is that the service is occasionally a bit shoddy. To be expected, some of the college age employees have been totally engrossed in their cell phone texting or just generally rude, but honestly, nothing could keep me away from this place.

great selection. super clean. and i definitely prefer the self serve. they have a great original tart here which is my main stay, and had a white peach flavor yogurt that was delicious. also the granola was super great, looked homemade actually. definitely will return when in btown

This place is fabulous. If your cravings overcome you for frozen yogurt and you're in the B-town area, this is the place to come. Please don't waste your time at Orange Leaf, where you'll pay for processed, chemical ice cream that you might decide to spit out in the parking lot because it tastes so horrible. Red Mango is all natural, and you can tell by the flavor- the word "delightful" comes to mind. It's so light! And being all natural and low calorie, you don't even have to feel guilty. My personal favorite is the coconut yogurt, and I love to top it with strawberries, raspberries, banana (they cut it up for you on the spot so it's fresh!) and a little bit of cookie crumbles. You will shamelessly fill your little (or big, your choice) cup to the brim. The only downside to Red Mango is the parking lot. Typical for Bloomington, depending on the time you decide to visit, it will be impossible to find a spot. Try going around the alley behind the shopping center and finding a spot there. I guarantee that once you've tried this place you won't care about the parking anyway.

This place used to be awesome. Went in last night and, no kidding, out of say ten flavors maybe two were available. There were post it notes on every other flavor saying "sorry". The staff were clueless and couldn't be bothered. Whoever is in charge of this location should be fired.

I have been here many times when I live in dorm, it's very convenient place near 9 bus station, sand they have different flavors of yogurt ice cream, you can try it before you decide which flavor to buy, and they have fruits, candy, chocolate toppings! I love their topping more than ice cream self, price is pretty decent, you could full bowl with different topping for around 5 dollars, they charge it depends on weight^^

Red Mango is one of the best frozen yogurt chains in the States since not every fro-yo chain has mochi as their topping options. Mochi (a Japanese sweet and chewy rice cake) goes really well with fro-yo so just be generous with the amount :)

Generous than other frozen yogurt guys. Especially in always serving small cup for customer tasting. Some amazing flavor here. I would say its taste really good ! I love pomegranate, strawberry cheese, nut, white peach.. and so on... ; ) Bright place. Friendly Casher.

Have been to this place 2 days in a row after dinner! The flavor I always go for is vanilla, white peach, blueberry flavors with slices of mango, little white mushy candies (shape of the little marshmallows), granola, and other fruit. This is one of the places you could not only satisfy your sweet tooth but also hang out with friends. Great place great desert! Yum!

Terrific! Especially the boba balls. WOW!!!! Be careful not to overload on the toppings.

Nice little place in a nondescript shopping center. Very clean and bright -- nice selection of sefl-serve yogurts and toppings. Price seemed reasonable to me.

Best yogurt or I've cream in Bloomington . Everything tastes great and very fresh. It is a little pricey, but worth it. And I don't usually like ice cream chains.
