This is a great addition to the Mounds Mall food court. Their menu includes only a few entrees, such as teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and pork rolls, but they do it well. Grab some chicken teriyaki, fried rice, and vegetables, and your bill will only be around five bucks. That sounds great to me!

I cant help but wonder how this place earned the 5-star rating. It's either this 5-star rating is rigged, or the excellent chef that created this reputation/rating has left this restaurant. Service was good to great, but the food is nothing near authentic or decent. Grilled fish was served not thoroughly cooked, rice for sushi tastes gross, miso soup tasting like dishwater, and agedashi tofu's broth tasting sour (tofu tasted good, so it's not tofu gone bad). Hmmm....

Drinks: Upon entry we asked for a glass of Plum Wine and a Guinness. We got neither. The waitress came back advised that they were out of plum wine and offered Sweet Red Wine instead. I opted for Moscato but instead if the Guinness we got a Heineken Light. We had to correct the waitress and found out that they were out if Guinness (TAKE IT OFF THE MENU IF YOU DONT HAVE IT!!!!!) Our waitress excuse was that she was tired.......... Food: The food here does not taste how it looks. True the pictures are accurate but as soon as you take a bite you will immediately regret you sat down. We ordered Miso Soup, Chicken Fried Rice, the Florida Roll, the Tiger Roll, and the California Roll which was barely edible. We paid over $50 for drinks we didn't want, food that tasted horrible and service that was well below standard. I've had better service at McDonalds. Please don't eat here. Save yourself some time money and disappointment.

Arrived around 5:30 pm for dinner. I was the only customer at the time. I sat down, ask for a water from a grumpy looking waitress. Waited around 10 - 15 minutes for her to come back with my water and give her my order.... Nothing. My waitress was too busy chatting to the cook to bother with a customer, so I got up and left.

The food here is quite below average. The gyoza was served with no sauce (a running theme at this place). The egg rolls are bland and had an over abundance of meat and a miniature amount of cabbage. The miso soup was watery and had almost no tofu or green onions. The worst offender was the chicken katsudon, a usual favorite of mine, but this was just terrible. It was served as an unwieldy piece of chicken, not pounded flat as usual. The chicken was very greasy and the breading kept falling off of the chicken, a sure sign of an inexperienced or untalented chef. Worse, it was served without tonkatsu sauce, which is puzzling and totally unacceptable. The food was bad, but somehow the service was even worse. We were the only customers when we arrived (which should have been my first clue that this place wasn't worth my time or money). Even then, it took several minutes longer than it should have to get our drinks. And the waitress never even offered to refill our drinks, which is completely unacceptable. Oh, and the bill was $40! Avoid this place at all costs. Yuck.

My favorite restaurant in Anderson. The sushi rolls are excellent. The Las Vegas, Ichiban, Philly, Spider, and Playboy are some of the best sushi rolls I have had. The chicken fried rice and orange chicken are excellent too. The salad on the lunch special is good too. My wife and I spend out dining budget at this place going 3 times a month, we are addicted to this great food. The staff is friendly.

This little gem was an absolutely MAGNIFICENT find for my boyfriend and myself! The food was phenomenal, and so fresh. The sushi almost melted in your mouth, and is by far the best in the area. I can't believe we waited so long to try it. Don't be fooled by the looks on the outside, it's absolutely worth a try, and then another, and another.... The waitress was extremely helpful in explaining things we weren't sure of, and her suggestions were spot on! We will definitely be going back, and taking friends and family as well! A must try, even if you don't like sushi, the other food is rockin' as well!

Holy God this place rocks. Their sushi is second to none. Other must try dishes: any bento box, agedashi tofu soup, the calamari and tofu salad. Having been there several times, I find each time that I go, its a new and fun experience. I like going in during lunch and bs'ing with Mike the sushi chef. And let me tell you, he will happily answer your questions of "Oooh, what's that?" Kelly the young woman who waits tables and rings up checks will also gladly explain things as well, and she's always smiling and friendly. I will be taking my family and friends there when I can! This little gem is a must visit, you wont be sorry.
